I’ve been on the road so long Johnny Cash and I should be walking together singing, «I’ve been everywhere man…» That said, Mojo’s is a sweet surprise tucked away in the friendliest town on the trail. The folks working at and stopping through this gem really did put some pep in my step. The coffee is in the top tier of what coffee can be– a good roast, full flavor, fresh and hot. The prices are remarkably good. The food tastes like your favorite Auntie made it– fresh, hot, local ingredients, straight forward and the right amount on the plate. My picks are the blueberry pancakes and pulled pork sandwich.

My wife and I stopped on the way to Boone — DELICIOUS! She had the reuben — I had the steak and cheese. Friendly staff — will definitely go again!

What an incredible find in Damascus. I didn’t think a coffee shop would have good food beyond small baked goods but was so wrong. The chef/owner previously cooked in Richmond for 20 years and really knows what he is doing. We came here three times during our stay and loved every dish. The shrimp and grits are amazing as are the biscuits and gravy, pancakes, huevos rancheros, and likely everything else on the menu.

Food was good. I had the lox bagel. The quad shot whole milk latte was great. I was only disappointed the served my latte in a styrofoam«to-go» cup instead of a mug. I ordered food to dine in…

This place has it all! Great looking menu, all kinds of coffee drinks, lightning fast wifi! Great place to sit and relax, I’m riding out a storm here during my AT thru hike. Friendly staff too! Must stop here when in Damascus. Will be back for sure!

We needed a dog friendly location on the way to 81, and this place fit the bill. What’s even better is that everything else about the place was great too! We enjoyed the patio seating in gorgeous weather with my friend’s boxer. I had a breakfast sandwich and my friend had a breakfast quesadilla. I also had a bananas foster frappé and it tasted so good and refreshing for the weather. I didn’t go inside except to order, but it’s deceptively nicely decorated based on the more rugged exterior. I’d certainly return in I were to visit my friend.

Really really good food and Service. Margie was a delightful server who recommended all great choices. The Philly sliders, pulled pork and chicken wraps were on point.

We were here visiting our family for ThanksGiving. We stopped by Tuesday & had the creeper philly sliders/they were so awesome/so much flavor. Then we came back this morning for breakfast… we wanted to try the bacon/egg & cheese waffle sandwich. It was all Delicious! Hope they still have it all next year when we come back. If u come here to hike/bike or horse back ride the Appalachian trail or just driving thru… U have to come in & try it!

Amazing shrimp and grits! Awesome and unique huevos rancheros using cornbread muffins and the very best blueberry pancakes I have ever had. The French Quarter Omelette is a unique twist of Nawlins cuisine. I have visited multiple times and have never been disappointed. Hopefully you will visit because you are biking the Creeper Trail but it’s worth the trip if you are just passing thru!!!

Sweet coffee shop in a perfect location if you are renting bikes from Creeper Trail Bike Rental, it is just a couple doors down. Excellent choice of coffees, iced, special shots, etc. We had cut back on the morning coffee because of the bike ride and were hurting for our coffee after the ride. Sitting in the back with comfy arm chairs sipping our mocha coffees was perfect.

This is a great little place to hit up, especially right before you hit the creeper trail! Awesome customer service, great food and a superb atmosphere! I’ve had their eggs/bacon breakfast, a few mochas, the chicken caesar wrap and one of their home made desserts and I have not been disappointed. The owner John is very genuine & friendly and they have free WI-FI with good upload and download speed for the area to boot!

Great place for coffee, food and internet in Damascus. Everything is made to order FRESH! I am working my war through their menu of smoothies. Haven’t had a bad one yet. The Fruit Passion is the best so far. It has strawberry, banana and peach. The BLT with avocado was very luxurious. These guys will also let bikers fill water bottles from their ice water dispenser. The staff is very friendly.

Went here 3 days in a row this week. Mostly for desserts, but also had a delightful grilled cheese and a large bowl of tomato soup. Awesome. Desserts are great, fresh, and plenty of choices. Water was free(fast food place next door charged 50 cents for tap water). Bathrooms clean. Nice, pleasant, relaxing ambience. Only reason I gave it a 4 rather a 5 was the slowness of the 2 young wait staff. They both appeared to move in slow motion.

Stopped here for lunch after riding on the Creeper Trail. The chicken salad sandwich was very good as was my frozen coffee drink. The smoothies were just ok. Nice ambience and friendly service!
