This is a great place if you’re looking for some tasty pizza and the occasional hair in your food doesn’t bother you too much. I haven’t tried much other than their pizza, but it’s great on those lazy nights when you don’t have the urge to cook for yourself. The plates are plastic and scratched to hell and the silverware is crap but it’s not a big deal if you’re just having pizza.

If you’re looking for something quick and good, it’s a good place in town. I love the cheeseburger wrap. Most people eating here don’t post on Unilocal so you won’t see a lot of reviews. This place is also under new management, so new posts should matter more.

Every time I’ve gone here I’ve hoped for a more positive outcome, but always seems to fall short… really short. My last expericence here was horrendous. Ordered Jalapeño poppers that came out still cold in the middle and my burger was just bland and no seasoning. I gave this place one star not for poor food alone, but for charging top dollar for bland under cooked poor food.

It’s the only pizza in Damariscotta, so you better know it’s delicious*. *Delicious is a word used to describe something that you imagine tastes good but doesn’t because the pizza lacks any semblance of quality. That deliciousness extends to their crispy* french fries and onion rings. *not cripsy But you know what matters? It’s italian food in a county where it is the only italian restaurant, and sadly that is an insult to Italians. Despite the lack of quality I still find myself going there once a year because I just need to have pizza every so often to be happy.

Oh boy. I really didn’t want to be the first one to review this restaurant. Went to Romeo’s Pizza(and sports bar I think) this past weekend when the power went out at the house and the kids needed dinner. This place has never been on our ‘must eat at’ list though we’ve gotten their pizzas as takeout in the past. In the future we’ll stick to pizza takeout! The waitress(who was probably doing double duty as the bartender) was very visibly stressed and we felt like we were imposing by taking a seat in the restaurant. Her poor service throughout the meal added to this feeling — that she wanted to be ANYWHERE but at work. Never a good thing when you’re in the hospitality business! The food was slightly SLIGHTLY better than the service. I ordered the Romeo’s «special» sandwich — a toasted ham, chicken, bacon and cheese sandwich on rye. Basic. And man, was it basic. When it arrived it looked like a fifth grader had made it — right down to the big hand print on the bread where someone pressed it down. I won’t even go into«plating» but at least the sandwich was on the plate. The pickles right from a jar, the mustard — bright yellow industrial mustard. The lettuce, typical shredded. Basically this is a sandwich that cost $.50 to make and looked it. I was embarrassed for them. Won’t be coming back for a sit down meal ever, but will again likely order the pizza again for takeout as it’s fine. Otherwise they have MUCH better sandwiches at the Dunkin Donuts next door.
