Peninsula Allergy Associates a Medical Group

I have some serious allergies, so needed a place to administer my immunology shots. After a highly disappointing experience with my previous allergist (who somehow managed to receive five star ratings on Unilocal), this place was a breath of fresh air. The entire staff was great. Dr. Patty Chi was very thorough by going through my old test results and confirming them. For example, the bad doctor’s test said I was pretty allergic (3+) to chocolate, but I’ve never had issues eating it. Dr. Chi was suspicious, so tested me again for cocoa bean and absolutely no problem! She believes the chocolate solution from before might have contained eggs and milk to which I am very slightly allergic. After my prick and intradermal tests, the nurse applied adrenaline to stop the reaction, hydrocortisone to stop the itchiness, and gave me some other oral medication to ensure my comfort. She was genuinely concerned for me like a mother! The front office staff was awesome too. They gave me a paper with their immunology hours, which I really appreciate after lots of aggravation with trying to receive my shots at my prior doctor’s office. After such a pleasant experience, I happily look forward my 12 shots a week with Peninsula Allergy Associates.
