Naturalizer Shoe Store

Naturalizer has granny shoes; comfortable granny shoes. However, every now and then you’ll find a cute pair or two. And when you do… you better hold onto it, or buy double!
I was pretty excited when I saw that there was a Naturalizer at this mall, since I needed some comfortable shoes badly.
What a disappointment though. I saw ZERO pairs of cute shoes in here. But I also wasn’t surprised, because the store was TINY! One of the smallest shoes stores I’ve seen.
Bring some cute shoes into the store, and I might be back.

On a expedition to find shoes I came to Serramonte and found this store on the directory.
There was one person working there. I patiently waited and looked… that took all of 30 seconds since the store is about 400 sq ft. Finally, the gal is free and she asks how she could help me… I said there were a few shoes I couldn’t decide on and walked over to where they were.
What does the gal do? Help another customer and then goes and get that customer a shoe. I was out of there.

My relatives are coming to visit and I am in need of some comfy shoes to chase my 1 year old niece all around the bay area.
I decided to stop in at Naturalizers.
The customer service I received from the retail person that evening was jolting.
When I asked her for a size, she repeatedly said «what?» To the point I had to explain what I wanted like I was speaking to a 6 year old. A PAIR OF SHOES IN MY SIZE! *pointing at the shoe and showing her my size using my fingers*
Then, she brought out the shoes. They were the wrong color.
I pointed it out and she says, «So, you want me to get you the other color?»
Uh, Yeah… that’s why I’m here. Are you intoxicated?
When I do say yes. She lets out this huge sigh and walks to the back.
She comes back with the pair of shoes. I try it on and they are snug, so I ask her for another size.
This really pisses her off and she rolls her eyes and gives a click of her tongue.
While she heads to the back room fighting her demons, I notice that the first shoes she gave me were the wrong size! No wonder the damn shoes did not fit!
I’m outta here.
2 stars because Naturalizers does have comfortable shoes. But, their customer service wreaks havoc!

It took awhile and I got great service by the staff. They had to find me every size I can get my hands on so I can make a strong choice. I literally had to fight off 2 women to get the new suede boots in my size. Damn you flat feet wides!!!
I also give full points for that extra 20% discount that was a major help. I’ve also returned items here before and I haven’t gotten the run around. It really depends on the person manning the station and the ladies there were understanding and nice.

The shoes in this store can be very expensive, yet the manager — Stefan — seems to be ignorant of the concept of customer service. He treats customers who try to return a defective product as if he is conducting a Spanish Inquisition. Hello Stefan, wake up. Get your nose out of the old return shoes and treat customers like you should and not like they are liars or thieves.
