This place has the best veggie sandwich! Being a vegetarian, we have tried so many places, the sandwich here is so tasty, simple ingredients, but yummy! If in town, will surely visit again!

These are hands down «THEE BEST» sandwiches in town! You’ve gotta try it yourself. You’ve gotta be hungry when you get 1 cause they’re not gonna fit in your kids lunch box!

No frills place. Quick and efficient service. The meat quality is average. Flying Dutchman (as you can see from the high volume of pictures) is always a safe bet however it doesn’t hurt to get the carnivore — all the meats, and you still get all the veggies. Why not load up? Also, they have a Sriracha sauce (probably Sriracha and mayo), so obviously get that. Sandwich is priced at 5.99, definitely a good deal. Won’t be the best sandwich you’ve had, definitely not the worst. It’ll fill you up.
Grab a 40 for you and your buddy on the way out. Or not, since they come in the weird fucking wide mouth plastic bottles. Worst marketing scheme ever.
Oh, if it’s late night, call to make sure they still have bread left. I always take it as a very good sign if a sandwich shop runs out of bread.

Three stars due to good service, nice room. Seems to have a lively bar fed, I think, from hotels. Food: I had filet of sole… what sticks in my mind is a bit greasy… the potato au gratin was tasty, the broccoli and zuc quite good. Wife had ravioli, rated it a 3.5. I had a Margarita, well prepared. Food comes out as quickly as a fast food place,? Since they are a steakhouse, and we are here for a week, we go back and see.

There aren’t too many late night options (other than Filipino Food) available in the Daly City, so I appreciate that Miss Tomato is open until 2am on weekdays. Hidden within a liquor store on 87^th street and school street — you have a wide variety of delicious sandwiches to choose from.
The boyfriend and I favor the flying dutchman on dutch crunch (gotta have that dutch crunch) — all included is roast beef, pepper jack cheese, pastrami, pepperoni, turkey, ham, bacon, lettuce, jalapeño peppers, tomato for a fair price of $ 6.99
They also have a good variety of chips to go with the sandwiches and drinks as well — it is a liquor store — duh!

Awesome service! The guys were super cool and made sure to make me the best sandwich! They made sure to keep conversation while I waited for my sandwich. The food was very good and I enjoyed my sandwich. Have several sandwich options and choices to chose from. Make sure to get tomatoes!

Tops sandwich. Placed on a soft sweet roll. Ohh yeah, Ordered waited for about 5 to 10 minutes. While he washed his hands and toasted my bread. Well worth the wait. You take home one of the best sandwich’s you can get out of a liquor store.

Sandwich was well presented and tasty. I have had several different types of sandwiches, None have ever failed to please my hunger.
I can eat half of one and then have the other half for my lunch the next day.
Its even better the next day! All the flavors just work. But you have to eat half the sandwich first.

I have gone to a lot of sandwhich shops and these sandwiches are the best sandwiches I have ever had! The best part is that it’s only a few blocks away so I can walk there at 1 am if I wanted to because they make sandwiches very late. My favorite sandwhich on the menu is spicy mama, I swear when I pick up my sandwhich I carry it home with care, I probably carry it as gentle as I carry my child because this sandwhich means so much and it tastes so good! If you want to try a delicious sandwhich go here !!

Trust me, I know my sandwiches, and I am pretty much never going anywhere else again. The sandwiches are bomb and the staff is very friendly. Did I mention they make sandwiches until 2am?

Frickin incredible vegetarian eggplant sandwich and what a deal, $ 6.99 before tax. Had no idea Daly was hooking it up. I recommend getting it with dutch bread. Sandwich is biiig too. Forget subway in Daly. Come here for non veg and veg sandwich eaters alike. Much love Miss Tomato. Thank you for giving me a great, affordable meal during a night lyft driving. I saw a lot of posts about this place. The thing with Unilocal is every person has their own experience and their standard can be different than mine.
This place is connected to a liquor store which I thought was convenient! I could get almost any beverage I wanted and any other snack to accompany the sandwich.
I had the SPICY MAMA on sliced bread. The previous pictures of the ginormous serving sizes scared me. I wanted it on a wrap but they were all out.
I had the chipotle, garlic and Miss Tomato secret sauce on it. Paired with heated chicken and melted pepper jack cheese… It was great!
I feel satisfied and not too full (I think mainly bc of my serving size) and I would recommend this to anyone looking for a unique sandwich and more than just a simple sub.

There are places you go to because they have good food and then there are places you go to because its 1 am and you’re hungry and everything else is closed (like Denny’s). Luckily Miss Tomato covers both of those necessities! They close at 2 am and I’m pretty sure I haven’t been there before 11pm yet. I’m sure their daytime deli is lively but I like that they’re open late and can make very good and very cheap sandwiches. Sometimes they run out of bread but honestly I don’t mind a wheat roll every once in a while and I’m sure my body doesn’t mind the extra fiber as well.
I’ve been getting the crunchy tuna because… well I like tuna. and I used to put chips in my sandwich when I was a kid.
All-​in-​all Miss Tomato is a quality sandwich that you can get after midnight and not feel bad about it the next morning because we all know that we regret eating Taco Bell after 9 pm.

I ordered a Toasted Italian sandwich with banana peppers on dutch crunch through the Eat 24 app.
I come home and realize my sandwich is filled with a completely different kind of meat and cheese! :(
the bag that my order came in had the word «ITALIANO» written on it but I ordered the «toasted ITALIAN» they should really change the names of the sandwiches since they’re so similar. Or the workers should double check before making the order, geez.
Besides the fact that I was given the wrong sandwich, I was still disappointed with the sandwich I was given. It was dry and barely had any meat or veggies. I basically paid 7 bucks for a loaf of bread…

I always come to this sandwich shop to pick up the Flying Dutchman on Dutch crunch!!! The workers are always so kind & the sandwiches of course are so bomb & flavorful. They just raised the price for the sandwich by just a dollar, but it is sooooo worth it! I love coming in because they’re always so kind, welcoming, and funny! Can’t wait till the burger place opens

My favorite place to grab a big fat toasty sandwich at 2 am for about 6 bucks.

Outstanding Mom and Pop operation (I believe). This location doesn’t have a huge supply of alcohol (25%). To me this place is more of a convenience store, that happens to sell some quality sandwiches. I believe sandwiches are one of my comfort foods, so coming here, and being taken care of the by the manager (?) and his employee, will keep me coming back here.
Thanks to my GF, she had the idea of coming here to grab a quick and small bite. Yes, I know Lucca’s isn’t that far, but my GF and I just needed a sandwich enough to share between the two of us without having leftovers for an entire village.
We ordered the «Flying Dutchman» which consists of roast beef, pepper jack cheese, pastrami, pepperoni, turkey, ham, bacon, lettuce, Jalapeño peppers, and tomatoes crafted on Dutch Crunch bread. The meats worked well together and surprisingly wasn’t salty at all and at about $ 5.99 (I would say is about a footlong), what a deal! It’s a shame we don’t have any Miss Tomato locations in Southern California, because I would rather come here than most of the chains in my area.
Thank you Miss Tomato, I can’t wait to come back and try some of your other wares.

Yup, this is a sandwich shop that’s located in the middle of a liquor/​convenience store.
Pros:
+ Excellent price: I ordered an All American on, if I remember correctly, dutch crunch and I paid $ 6.50 for this massive sandwich.
+ Huge sandwiches
+ They allow you to pay by credit card, even if your purchase is below $ 10. Most small businesses like this usually accept credit card as a form of payment, only if your total purchase is $ 10 or more.
+ Open until 2am.
Cons:
— In all honesty, the quality of the meat and bread are both subpar. That’s likely why the price is as cheap as it is.
— Depending upon how many employees are working, getting your sandwich can take a while. I came with two of my roommates last time and we had to wait roughly 20 – 25 minutes for our sandwiches, as there was only one person manning the entire store.
— No indoor or outdoor seating.
— No parking lot — street parking only
My sandwich itself was just okay. It wasn’t completely flavorless, but it was also not bursting with flavor either. This place would definitely be a lot better if the sandwiches tasted a lot better for the cheap price they charge.

For $ 6.50 after tax, this sandwich is pretty ginormous.
They’re out of Dutch Crunch so I’m kinda disappointed, but the Sour Dough isn’t bad, it has some sesames on it and all.
I’m very full after half the sandwich (I got the Flying Dutchman), and i’m not a light eater so… It’s pretty worth it. Probably can just split someone so that’s one super duper deal right there!
Added avocado when I got home :) Yummy.
Will come back to try more other flavors and probably make an update review later on.

Once again salivating at work over Unilocal pictures and came here straight after. I ordered the Spicy Mama, extra spicy, on Dutch crunch. It was decently spicy but the chicken was dry and I think they forgot the onions. The bread was very chewy as well, but that may be my fault considering I was 10 minutes late in picking up my order.
The guy making the sandwiches is very friendly! I may come back just to support his little shop.

Subs for $ 6.50 (tax included) is such a great deal!
We both got the Carnivore special sub. Such meat, so lengthy, much good (LOL). But really, the subs filled us up and then some. There are so many choices on the menu, and we’re really hoping to eventually try them all. I mean, under $ 7 for a sub that totally dominates Subway sandwiches that’s definitely 12inch+, I’d go to Miss Tomato any day.
