i went there to change my cell phone to metroPCS, they call it port my number, i was treated like they did not wanted to answer my questions, the guy even ask me why am i asking so many questions am i going to open up my own store or something, it was kind of strange, i met jason there who transferred me to get help from james which was also strange, why cant they just have 1 person help someone from start to finish, its like i had to explain why am i there 2 times. anyways, the big issue was that when i did get the new phone they give me the screen protector on it and james put it on the guy with the long hair and he did such a poor job there were 3 big size bobbles on the screen with little stop of dirt under each bobble. its like i could of done a better job myself but he did not even ask me he just put it on himself, he did not even allow me to open my brand new phone myself and did it himself which ruined a lot of the fun for me of getting the new phone. Then instead of helping me set up the phone and voice mail he just started to help the next costumers while the other 3 workers in the store just talked around to each other. Then when i asked if i can plug the phone in to charge it to test the charger and also the battery was already 25% i was told there was no plug i can use in the store, WHAT? that’s crazy, anyways i will be contacting the 1800 number for metroPCS to let them know how unhappy i was with the service at this location. Then after i left the store my phone was still not able to received any phone calls but they did not tell me that as i was leaving all he did was used my new cp to call the store to test if outgoing phone calls work, then when i called the store back 2 hours later i was told i have to wait 24h to be able to receive phones calls since i ported my number from another carrier. they also charged me like 11usd in taxes for a free phone, how is that possible? i got the 30usd a month plan with the 1gb net and unli call/text, but no one could tell me the exact speed, and limits of date, i will update this post later to let u guys know, after i on my data and run i only got about 0.5 down and 0.5 up right outside the store, and that is 4g? no way.

ZEROSTARS… Who hired these people? The girls with hoop earrings and BAD attitudes. They treated every customer like complete shit. Even the manager(I wish I had names) had the worst attitude and was so rude. The customer service is literally appalling. Metro may be my service provider but I’ll never step foot in that store again, I would rather travel father to avoid dealing with these people. Besides the HORRIBLE person customer service, they don’t even know anything about phones. 2 girls couldn’t help me with my service– and the manager came over with her eyebrows raised acting confrontational refused to help me. It’s rather shocking that a business has hired people who know nothing about phones and hate people. I truly do not understand it. Here is ONE situation(of many) I over heard that had me speechless: A customer calls and a girl answered the phone. They exchange words and then the girl helping me interrupts me mid sentence and looks at her co worker and says«I just told them to call back in 10mins and it’s only been like 2 mins»(okay fine) and so the girl on the phone says«my coworker told you to call back in 10 mins. You can call back in 20 mins now» and hangs up… Am I the only one that thinks that is ridiculous. You were obviously extremely unhelpful and so the customer called back??? I would never be a little bitch to my customers. I treat my customers with respect in knowing they are spending their hard earned cash with me. My experience wasn’t better but worse. Those girls should straight up be ashamed of themselves. They don’t deserve a job. NOCLASS. NOSELFRESPECT. NORESPECTFOROTHERS. sorry your life sucks-mine certainly doesn’t. I will be avoiding the trash that works there and keep on pushing. OH. Will be switching my provider as well because if a company hires straight trash then I won’t be apart of it.

This location has made wonderful improvements. The manager Hong was the representative that assisted me. He was very helpful, professional, and knowledgeable. It does get very busy, but they are very proficient. He answered all my questions and downloaded all my info to my new phone. I would highly recommend this location. Please keep the same management.

This place has gone through some major customer service changes! The staff is more attentive and helpful. I’ve been meaning to write a new review for this place but never got around to it. Everyone here is super friendly and even the security guard will direct people to where they need to go like either paying on the machine or actually needing to talk to a rep. Major improvement guys!

I was really nervous to come to this store after reading their awful Unilocal reviews, but my experience at this store was great! Although there is room for improvement in professionalism(the associates were chewing gum and answering personal phone calls), the service was great otherwise. Jonie helped me out and made sure she explained what was wrong with my phone and got the issue fixed rather quickly.

The salesperson asked if I wanted«handset protection»(insurance to replace lost or damaged phones) for $ 5 a month, since raised to $ 6. I agreed. After over a year and a half of premiums, about $ 100 total, the phone suddenly stopped charging. When I took it back to the store the clerk said the power port was defective and to file a claim to get a replacement phone. When I did so the insurance company said the deductible, which the metroPCS clerk never mentioned, would be $ 100! Obviously, the insurance«service» is a scam. I found a workaround by buying a second battery, which I recharge. When I first bought the phone they also sold me a second battery and charger. I didn’t need it for about a year. When I did, I saw that it was the wrong size battery for that phone! When I took the battery and charger back to the store the manager said that they don’t accept returns or exchanges after 90 days. I protested that no one would know that the store had sold the wrong battery until the customer needed to use it, which would likely be after 90 days. But they stuck to their stupid policy. Their rates may be low, but their horrible service shows you get what you pay for.

The Only service I got here was from the security guy at the door. He saw I was having trouble paying my bill on the machine, so he helped me out a bit! when that didn’t work, I walked up to the sign that says«Line starts here» Um, I was the only one standing there and no one asked me if I needed help. Until the guy at the cashier signal for me to come. I asked him I’d like to pay a bill. Asked for the phone#, I gave it to him! No eye contact. After the transaction he gave me my receipt w/out saying thank u or have a nice day. Never coming back.

I went back to MetroPCS after having made the mistake of using Consumer Cellular(don’t get me started on them) and when I went into this MetroPCS store I must say that the person who helped me was very accommodating and helpful. She helped me to understand how my new SmartPhone worked and what I needed to do to get everything connected so I could use apps. I was actually impressed that all the staff here seemed to be very friendly. I’m very glad that I chose this location and will go back here again when I need help with my cell phone. Thanks!

The folks who work there are just doing their job within the parameters Metro gives them. Even though I kinda want to, can’t fault them for that. They are extremely limited in what they can do though. So basically, not much. Metro Corporation, on the other hand, is a *horrible* service: * bad reception, frequent dropped calls * «unlimited» data = you can try unlimited times to connect, but good luck. Half the time, you wait so long, it’s easier to call a friend and ask them to google it. * Email = no mail. When you try to reset it, it deletes all your phone numbers. These awful customer service practices are designed to make paying a pain(Bill is $ 50., but you can’t pay over $ 40. via phone, to which they’ll tack on a $ 2.00 surcharge(so actually $ 4.00 b/c you have to pay twice, $ 10.00 seperately to complete the payment). I did so yesterday and they STILL say I haven’t paid, so no phone service for 2 days. Un-effin-believable. You can’t talk to a live representative as long as they say you haven’t paid, but cannot resolve that you actually did(w/confirmation #‘s and everything) until you pay again. I’ve had it with them. In short, bad service and horrible customer service policies. The service is cheap, but this is a classic example of ‘you get what you pay for’. Or not.

I guess I’ll be the lone disenter of raters here. I know the lines can be long, but that is usually because people in line can ask a zillion questions about services, phones and pricing. I bought my brother a phone here, then it went crash in the street. At the Tanforan store the ladies talked him into a crapy phone with a new, impossible to remember number and charged him stupid fees. Today I went and got him a new phone and easy number. Took twenty minutes and got a discounted phone price for adding his line to mine.

I guess they are so rude because they provide inexpensive phone service. Very rude staff and long lines all the time.

OMG!!! Where do I start! This place is terrifiying! From its nasty customer service, to the people who work there that DO NOt give a crap as to what your needs are. Oh ya did I mention as frustrated you are by them the security guard will kick you out, then follow you out of the store and challenge you to fight! Yep its true even while you are holding a 1 year old in your arms. If I recall he said” Put down the baby” As if!!! Whatever. I know that they offer a discount celluar phone service… but come on!!! People give AT&T or Verizon a call, but borrow someone elses phone as you may not get service with your Metro PCS phone!

can not rate this place lower than needed. the manager of this place just basically told me that it was my obligation to call the manufacture of my phone due to the phone having been locked up by my daughter, i could not get it to unlock. that was pretty silly for them to just leave me with thier problem to solve and making me feel like customer service not at all customer service…, so i went shopping and ended up in tanforan mall– nice guy in the mall tells me to take the phone over across the street to thier service center office. a great guy buy the name of paul who was very patient and very helpfull. i will put my «5» star ratings with them. they have told me what i needed to know– my phone was defective and that they will just replace it. i was bit dissapointed in finding out that my nearest metro pcs office is not as reliable and helpful as i thought they would be. a 3 month old, close to $ 200.00 phone becomes my own problem once it starts to malfunction… thank you metro pcs in tanforan 2 thumbs up and my dissapointment to the daly city store!!! boo to you!!!
