Flores Landscaping

I had my yard landscaped several years ago with drought tolerant plants, no lawn. It looked great. I was unable to keep up with the weeding so I saw what a great job my neighbor’s gardener was doing for his lawn and I asked for Arcadio’s information. I promptly received a quote to get the weeds out, bark placed and monthly maintenance. Arcadio has always come through as he promised and the work has been stellar. I am a very happy camper.

I hate doing this but this is my last resort of getting in touch with Arcadio. He’s been coming to take care of my back yard in San Francisco for several years, and I’ve been very happy with him. Originally, he also installed an irrigation system, which has been working great too.
But for several months now, I can’t get in touch with anyone at Flores Landscaping. I’ve called and left messages, but Arcadio has seemingly disappeared off the face of the earth. The 5 stars I would give Flores Landscaping are suddenly a painful 1 star. I haven’t found a replacement, and the yard is definitely showing it, with the grass that’s gone yellow and messy plants.
I’m not sure what’s going on, but maybe this review will catch his attention, if he’s still around.

So far so good! I live out of state and own a property in CA. After being away for quite some time, my property was extremely overgrown. I called Flores Landscaping on a Friday afternoon and they made arrangements to meet right away on Monday. They were responsive and punctual and completed the work on the property three days later. They provided before and after photos and scheduled the next month’s maintenance with no issues. This company will be my landscaper for a long time to come. Thanks Giovanni and Arcadio!!!

I was looking all over the place for a landscaper and ran into this company through Unilocal.Seeing that it had great ratings and reviews I decided to try them out by giving them a call. Initially they picked up and came on time to give me a free quote for my backyard. He understood what my vision of my backyard was about and told me that I would get a quote via email by the end of the day. But after that, it went all downhill from there. It was almost impossible to get in contact with giovanni. After calling him for a week and finally getting in contact with him, I recieved my intial quote for my backyard. It was a decent price but I wanted to make 1 modification to the quote. So I told him that I wanted him to give me another quote for the added modification. I honestly was going to go with him but after calling him 3 times a day for 2 – 3 weeks with no pickup, I am totally fed up with the bs. I mean, honestly, if he didn’t want the job or he is too busy I would have just liked to have known so that I wouldn’t be sitting at home fiddling my thumbs waiting for this guy to call me. It ended by him sending me an email telling me that its out of the scope of his range to do the work which is a bs reason because I looked up the additional work online and it gave me step by step directions that even a child could do it. So if I were you and looking for a landscaper to do some work on your backyard. DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS COMPANY!

The initial phone call was very pleasant and I got a call back very quickly. Arcadio came out to survey the jungle that was out yard and gave me a very reasonable price for clean-​up. they were prompt and thorough. He gave me pointers on how to help my fruit trees and how to not let the brush grow so crazy. I will be calling him back later this year and will not look any further. I also like that they are local.
I called them back again 6 months later – same great service!

Arcadio and his son, Giovanni, are great and friendly people. Landscaping service was good and clean. No complaints on quality and communication. Also, Arcadio was able to fertilize my fruit trees.
Only one small, drawback to me, personally, is the pricing which is ‘fair to high’ for the amount of time spent landscaping the property. Work was front and backyard maintenance and with two people it took less than an hour with a somewhat high, but fair rate. I didn’t mind it for the two times I hired them in two months, but it can be costly. I was able to locate a family friend who does the same quality job at almost half the cost.
Suggestion to you guys: If you are going to charge your rates, please spend a minimum of an hour on the property and perhaps be a little bit more detail oriented on the jobs; otherwise, adjust your rates with a small discount based on your time spent for smaller jobs such as minor landscaping.

Arcadio was a pleasure to work with replacing my entire front lawn, and adding a sprinkler system in just 2 days. He gave a very fair estimate, and stuck to that price when all was said and done. He worked fast, on time, and he and his team did great work.
I would highly recommend him for anyones landscaping project.

Jose Flores does an excellent job and is always available to slove problems or issues. Very happy with his work and easy to deal with hence the high number of stars. His prices are reasonable for San Francisco.

They did a great job cleaning out the jungle that was my yard. Pulled the raspberry roots and trimmed the tree. They were reasonably priced, quick and very friendly.

Flores Landscaping does a great job on my lawn and recently put in a sprinkler system for me. They do amazing work at a fair price. I tried 3 or 4 other landscapers who were terrible before finding Flores.
Arcadio and his guys will take care of your lawn or property and it will always look amazing.
