The only Chinese restaurant that I’ve trusted for years ever since I was a little girl! They never fail me!

Ate dinner here after grocery shopping. Food was average or I have not found what they cook best. Parking is on street so watch the meter. There is a 3 item dinner special for $ 20.50 at this writing which we did not order. We ate here several times last year and the entrees seems less tasty on this visit. Maybe a change in the chef or change to their recipe.

I’ve come to this place since I was in high school and the food is still good, now I bring my family and they enjoy the food too. Not sure if ownership has changed but it was a bit different inside from what I remember it, and the servers were polite and friendly, food was prompt. I did not miss the lady who used to be at the register before(she was rude) I’m really close to this restaurant and this will continue to be the spot for Chinese food.

This is great for a quick, affordable lunch. The service was decent and the food came in a timely manner. We ordered the Hungry Noble Special for $ 7.95. We got a small bowl of wonton soup and then a platter containing pork fried rice, egg roll and Almond Chicken for myself and Mongolian Beef for the man. The soup was on the salty side, but the rest was just fine. The portions are so large, We’ll have another lunch out of it. I loved the fat greasy egg roll, the fresh veggies with the chicken and the fried rice wasn’t over saturated with soy sauce.

I’ve catered 3 parties so far with ERK and they have been awesome! Their fried chicken wings are always a hit! I had no issues with anyone being rude. In fact, the woman who took my order couldn’t have been sweeter. She patiently helped me figure out portion sizes and how much food I would need for each dish based on the number of people I had. And she was accurate! Last night she had it down to only 2 chicken wings and a serving of noodles left over. My late night party hostess snack! And everyone with smiles and full bellies. Delivery is always on time and delivery guy is awesome. I usually order the night before and ask for a specific time the following day. They are consistent, reliable, fair priced and tasty. Planning to make a trip soon to try their regular menu.

Worst customer service ever, never going back to this place!!! I hope they go out of business!!! Previous owner wasn’t to friendly, but at least they got my to go order in a timely manner. I ordered over the phone, they said it wall take 15 to 20 minutes. Just to be safe, I went 20 minutes after I ordered, but the food wasn’t ready. No problem, I waited, waited, waited…20 minutes later, a walk in customer that ordered after me got their food, WTF. I asked the waiter again, it turned out my order was ready twenty minutes before, they just didn’t bother to check with me. They’re quick to get your money, but then they just ignore you!!! I used to like this place, never going back. So beware!!!

Pretty decent size place to eat at. The food was very good and affordable. Waiting time is not long at all. The only complaint I have is customer service. Not even once thr waiter came to see if we needed anything. When my family and I were about to be done we see our waiter leaving the restaurant. Nobody else came to check on us. We had to call another waiter so she could bring us to go boxes and to bring us our receipt.

What’s not to like here? They have weekday specials with free soup, the hong kong chow mein is good, but order it without bean sprouts and you get more noodles. Just about every dish here you ordered you can’t go wrong. The fried chicken is good but just a bit salty. Service is what you usually get at an asian restaurant. Highly recommended.

Daily rice plate specials are good but the main protein is mostly filler(veggies) which I don’t mind much. I’d just rather have more meat in a sweet & sour pork plate than it being mostly peppers and onion.

I went to dinner at this restaurant today and was very disappointed. My husband and I sat down with our son and ordered our food. We received our food and notice that every Asian that would come in was served with tea. Neither the less I asked the waiter where is our tea? They brought us two cups of watered down tea, while everyone else had a pot. When our soup came they just left it on the table for us to serve ourselves. The Asian family next to us was served their soup. I swear not to be racist and all this people only take care of their same race. I would never would want to eat at this restaurant again. They better be careful with that attitude there are many Filipinos in Daly City!

There was a plastic piece about one inch inside one of the egg rolls. Seriously… I would never order anything from here, this is also my first experience with them.

I still come and order my favorites. The beef chow fun is a must have with or with out gravy. Today was not like any other, forgot to purchase food and is getting late, well not really I was just lazy to cook so take out it is. Large portion size. Food always tasty. Salt and pepper pork chops not as dark fried as I like them but still good. I have them make it without salt. I know it makes no sense but the pepper is the best part, you can always add salt but it has enough in the other dishes.

Chow fun with gravy is full of win! I love the noodles, and the delicious sauce. I changed the order from beef chow fun to chicken, and it was full of vegetables too! Prices = reasonable. Service = friendly. Can’t wait to order here again.

Considering how many places we could have eaten at in San Francisco I was kind of surprised when my friend visiting from Santa Cruz suggested that we try this place out, and since she was driving I wasn’t about to say no. It turns out she’s a fan of egg rolls. That’s something I am not. My friend found street parking just steps away from the front door. Since we were visiting at a non-peak hour in the middle of the afternoon the restaurant was empty. A gentleman greeted us and sat us immediately offering us menus as soon as we were seated. A pot of hot tea soon followed. Some of the restaurant’s staff were huddled around a table in the back wrapping … what else, egg rolls! Well, that was a good sign seeing them made from scratch. We put in our order and the food arrived promptly. We did order egg rolls which I did not sample. My friend said, «They’re good. You should try one.» I didn’t, and her opinion doesn’t count because this is MY review! I went with my old standard, the Beef Chow Fun( ) and I ordered it dry because folks who have read my reviews know that I hate wet chow fun. The portion was pretty good. It was probably enough to share with my friend, except I wasn’t about to eat what she ordered. My friend knows I love(d) tofu, but she(a former Unilocaler herself) obviously hadn’t been reading my reviews for she had no idea that soy products have been banned from my diet for the past two years. Told that they made the BBQ pork in-house my friend ordered the BBQ Pork with Tofu rice plate( ) which she enjoyed thoroughly; although she said she would have ordered something else had she known I couldn’t eat it. I never want my friends to do that so I was glad she didn’t know about the restriction. I enjoyed my Chow Fun, but it was very similar to lots of chow funs I’ve had. The ingredients tasted fresh, the beef was seared well and there were a lot more noodles than onions or bean sprouts. All pluses in my opinion. The MSG level didn’t apply either since I asked that no MSG be put into my food. The MSG level was noticeable in my friend’s dish as I tried a few pieces of the BBQ pork off of her plate that left a tingling sensation on the tip of my tongue. Overall, good food, friendly staff, very good service and an A-OK lunch with a good friend. 3.5 stars!

Came here to eat some old school Chinese food. Parking is available on the street. The place looks like a mom and pop place. Very plain interior. The ingredients are low key. Very decent comfort food. I had the beef brisket soup noodles. The soup was a bit thick, but it was delicious. No frills. As a sign of hygiene, their fortune cookies come pre-wrapped from the factory.
