apparently, the name«back 2 square 1» was right on the money, because this store is probably closed right now. all that was left of the store when i passed by was a sign reading«please forward all mail to kick city, thanx». this store wasn’t so special. i had stopped by the store only once, and wasn’t really impressed. to be fair, they did have a fair selection of urban clothing, but nothing really caught my interest. i was the only person lookin around the store, felt kinda weird. can’t say much about the staff, even the staff at HUF are a lot friendlier. i think they just chose a bad store location. a streetwear store in the middle of daly city? doesn’t really make sense.

Store has a fair selection of streetwear and consignment items. I was not met with a fairly warm reception when walking in. The typical passive glance and non responsive attitude that comes with many streetwear shops in this day and age:/.

It’s a cool new urban store in westlake right in between home depot and safeway. It’s also next to a new shoe store right next to it. I like the environment in there, everyone there is helpful, care, and always says hi. One thing I liked about the store was the artwork, painted by local artists. I liked most of them, which had a lot of color, playful, and interesting designs from cartoons, graffiti, and other stuff. They price their artwork $ 60 and up. The clothes at the store is pretty good with a variety of brands. They have a lot of outerwear too. From time to time you may find good clothes and stuff. I think the store needs to fill up it’s inventory a little bit because there isn’t a lot to pick from. Last time I went they didn’t have that much stuff. But this place is a new great clothing store to stop by time to time when your around Westlake.
