Probably one of the best La Quinta hotels in the country. But, be sure to request a room opposite the freeway side or you’ll hear the trucks on I-75 all night long. Great place to stay. Clean. Comfortable. Nice staff. Excellent breakfast too!

Stayed here for an overnight on the way back home to FL. Was looking for safe, dog-friendly accommodations and this was it! No pet fee… what’s better than that?!? Check in was easy and the man at the front desk was extremely polite and friendly. The room was clean and suited our needs for a 1 night stay. I felt safe and the noise wasn’t too crazy though my dog did find one or two things to bark at through the night. I suppose if you’re not traveling with a dog that could be an issue. Breakfast in the morning was good… lots of variety of hot and cold items and to-go cups to take a coffee for the road. All in all a safe, easy, comfortable choice for the night! Would recommend!

Stayed here twice with 1 dog no extra cost for her. Little plots of grass outside and a larger sloped area of grass across parking lot. A handful of other dogs appeared to be there that night and none were an issue. The rooms are all inside an interior corridor of hallways. We were in a room facing highway side and it was quiet and fine. Breakfast was great including hardboiled and pre cooked egg patties, ham, English muffins, waffles etc. The lobby and room décor were updated and the room beds were 2 queens with comfortable mattress. Hairdryer, fridge, small Pantene shampoos. Wifi worked well. Would/will stay here every time I’m in the area and need a dog friendly place.

We have had a great time here with our night stop on our way to and from Florida! The breakfast is great, the rooms are clean, free wifi, nice staff, and free cookies in the lobby(that are amazing and baked just right!) They allow 18 years old and up to make reservations! I highly recommend this hotel!

Grabbed this hotel as a Hotwire deal for an overnight stay on my way to Florida. It’s situated on I-75 yet you have to take a side street a few blocks to get to it. It’s located on the same street as some other hotel chains and there were some eating establishments around as well. Lobby was inviting and clean. Check in was a breeze since everything was paid for via Hotwire. My room was on the third floor. I was traveling alone so took a king bed room. Room was also very clean. Standard amenities for this type of hotel; fridge, coffee maker, flat screen TV etc. Bed was soft and I didn’t have issues with noisy neighbors. Only concern I saw was that this was the only hotel I have ever seen where the windows open all the way, and there was no screen. Not a big deal for me but I could see where if my children were with me this could be a problem. It wouldn’t be very hard for a toddler to open the window and be exposed to a three story drop. They had a decent selection of items available for breakfast. Better than a lot of comparable hotels. They also bake and serve free cookies all day long so that’s a plus. There was also a little pantry area where they sold basic food and drink items. Definitely a good hotel to stay in. Would stay at again if I am ever back in the area.

Our family stayed here on Friday, February 27th because my son’s high school Mock Trial team was competing at the Whitfield County courthouse the next day. We primarily stayed here because we wanted to bring our dog. We were VERY pleasantly surprised! Wonderful check-in experience, beautiful room, comfortable bed, delicious breakfast(biscuits and gravy). Only downside was our room faced I-75 and we heard lots of traffic all night. We would HIGHLY recommend this hotel. Great customer service!

Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone but especially those traveling with their dogs! Considering the next dog friendly hotel appeared to be 100 miles north — we were pleasantly surprised to find out just how nice this hotel was! Wow — courteous helpful staff with extremely clean rooms that had been nicely upgraded!

Clean, comfortable, friendly and new. By far the nicest La Quinta we have stayed at.

Honestly, I couldn’t come up with anything that would make this place anything less than 5 stars. It’s a dog friendly place, which we wanted because we had our dog with us — but be warned if you don’t have a pet with you, this means hearing some amount of random barking. Even that was minimal though. The place was very clean, beds were comfortable, nice shower, decent free breakfast, and very friendly and helpful staff. All of that at a fair rate in a nice little town with plenty of restaurants and shops! Call ahead if it is a weekend to reserve a room.
