Man I love this place! The smell of the rosemary candle was something I had to take home… but when you walk into the back of the store you get a big whiff of amazing wood! Beautiful amazing solid wood furniture that inspire all kinds of ideas! You also get to see the world famous store pooch… check out their facebook photos of the star!
Lots of tables, buffets, decorative items, extra pieces to place around the home. They also refinish wood for you if you want or make custom pieces! Hats off to the moron who said «great if you’re doing a lodge or cabin» because he’s an idiot. Who doesn’t love a solid wood dresser or butcher block for the kitchen? Wood is warm, it warms a home and this stuff would last a lifetime!

One of my favorite stores in Dallas.
With original pieces beautifully merchandised and reasonably priced, The Wooden House is in a league of its own. This store is my favorite place to find unique furniture and textiles. I am constantly receiving compliments from guests in my home admiring my teak and wrought iron console and colorful wooden trunk!

I was very pleased to visit this store. I was greeted at the door by Steven and at first glance the store was bigger then I had originally imagined. It was loaded with fantastic finds that had a unique rustic look. The high design element of all these pieces reflect the different areas of the world the product is imported from. Handcrafted furnishings, pillows, and a large assortment of rugs.
I was especially happy with all of the accessories, books, and other gift shop elements that suit every type of shopper looking for either a personal furniture find, special gift, or a little detail for the home like the handmade knobs.
Walking around this area was easy to do and I will find myself strolling in to visit this store again.

Love this store! So much to look at, home décor, art, jewelry, hardware, and best of all furniture! Everytime I looked at a price tag I was surprised that these one of a kind pieces were so affordable.
The employees really know the merchandise too. They were happy to tell me all about a local jewelry designer and how her designs have been flying out the door.
Can’t wait to come back so I can finally finish decorating my apartment!

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!
HMMMM…where to start? Their pieces are authentic, beautiful, and best of all, affordable. They have some of the most fantastic armoires and cabinets a girl could ever dream of. At first glance, you would think they were just like the others, but their pieces are better and even more affordable than the mass-​market knock off stuff like Restoration Hardware!
The staff is friendly, laid-​back, and knowledgeable. I love this place. I go in on a weekly basis… highly highly recommend!
Oh, and they also have a warehouse in the design district. Just call the Henderson store and they will set an appointment for you.
