Wig Paradise

I came here to find the last part of my winter soldier costume. Nikki who worked here helped me find the right wig. Excellent job

I went to this store with two friends hoping to find a «Mama June» (Honey Boo Boo’s mom) wig for the 2012 Cedar Springs Halloween Block Party this Saturday. We were greeted by Shannon – a fabulous wig shop extraordinaire. She said «Imma find you one and MAKE it work. I’m the best in Dallas!» I was upset that the store didn’t have anything that looked exactly like Mama June’s hair, but Shannon actually cut and styled one that was the same color and made it look PERFECT! She lived up to her claim – after seeing the way she transformed that wig with scissors and bobby pins, I can vouch that she’s the BEST. I enjoyed every minute of conversation with Shannon. She’s hilarious and that girl sure knows her astrology as well as she knows how to style a wig. She was cracking us up as she gave us astrology readings while she styled. I highly recommend Wig Paradise. In fact, I sent my friend Charles there to get his wig today. (He’s gonna be Honey Boo Boo.)

Let me start by saying I don’t wear wigs on a regular basis so my review may be somewhat skewed, however, I thought there was a good selection available and even better, the staff was great and super friendly.
I was looking for a bright, colorful wig for a night out on the town and Yolanda made me feel extremely comfortable and never pressured me to purchase a wig I didn’t love. I’ve been to other wig shops and it was almost like they were irritated that I actually wanted to try on more than 3 wigs. I mean, really? Its a wig, and I don’t wear them that often so its not surprising that I may need to see what actually works for me and what is a definite No way. My experience at this place was so much different and I walked out feeling super confident with my purchase.
I should add, the location is definitely kinda sketchy but I went midday during the week and I had no problem at all. If you’re looking for something to spruce up a girls night out, I’d recommend this place for you wig options.
