Whataburger

This is your usual WB, no complaints with the food. We got there at midnight and didn’t leave til about 12:20 because there were so slow. Im guessing there werent that many people working but damn.

This is the WORST, whataburger I’ve ever been too. The staff is slow and doesn’t seem to care about the customers and the title «fast food» doesn’t exist here. You’ll have to wait at least 15mins in the drive thru just to get you order, and by the time you get it. It’s completely wrong. The people working here have no idea what customer service is and they all act like they have no idea what’s going on in their own «restaurant». I never write Unilocal reviews. This experience was just so bad I had to share.

I wish I could give this place a ½ star. I am new to Texas from San Diego and my friend was raving about how I needed to try this place out. She was so excited about their spicy ketchup you get with the food.
First for what I ordered, the service was extremely slow. I thought this must be because your food is made to order as I read in previous reviews. So I got my food and while driving away I figured I will try a fry… HORRIBLE! Fries were cold and stale! I thought okay so maybe this spicy ketchup will save them. I get home and no the spicy ketchup did not save the fries and the ketchup is not spicy. The burger was cold and way too salty. Actually everything was too salty all the way down to the disgusting ketchup. I suggest just stick with heinz.
All in all I will never be back to this place and I am sure I will be regretting this meal in the morning. Not a good way to start out my fast food dallas experience.

Double w/​cheese please! I have loved whataburger since I was very young. Every time I get a chance to get one I do. This one was just as good as the next whataburger. May I have fries with that, which are great as well. Can’t go wrong here. Will go back and please move north to Ohio!

I ate here today against my better judgement and I paid for it dearly :(. I hadn’t eaten here in years and this will be the last time ever. Oh gracious… not good.

As far as fast food goes, this is pretty much the top of the list. Quality burgers and chicken, both made to order. Crispy fries, decent shakes and good breakfast sandwiches.
All in all Whataburger is as good as you’re likely to find in a time crunch which won’t allow for a proper restaurant experience.

I’m not a big fan of fast food, but I would have to say that every time I go to Whataburger I always leave with a satisfied tummy. The Whataburger closest to my actual home is quite a long commute, so I have always seen it as a more «luxurious» fast food restaurant and I’m glad that this one is so close by to where I live. Its located around a lot of other mediocre fast food chain stores such as McD’s, Chick-​Fil-​A, Churches, KFC, Taco Bell, A&W, Dominos, etc off of Forest Lane and I hope that if you were to choose to eat at anyone of these fast food places, it would be at this one (though I have not tried the Chick-​Fil-​A around here yet).
This Whataburger just stands out on top of all the others (and other Whataburgers). First of all, the speed of service was remarkable. Before I knew it, my order was ready and the Whata-​employees were busing my tray over with my choice of ketchup, napkins and other condiments. The food is what you would expect at any other Whataburger though, which is great if you love it, especially when it is hot off the grill.
Another reason why I like this Whatabuger is the cleanliness. It is substantially better than a lot of other fast food places I have been to before. The staff manager who operates this location has got to be either Mr. Clean himself or a hygiene Nazi. I had no issue sitting down at any of the open tables to enjoy my meal here.
The last reason and probably the reason why I gave this fast food chain location a ⁵⁄₅ and not a ⁴⁄₅ is the service. Now, I don’t quite know the guy’s name, but there is the nicest old black employee who works here. I told him once that I wish I got mustard on this burger after I received it because I forgot, and he offered to go fetch me one. Within a minute, I was enjoying my completed Double Whataburger (it took him a minute because he was helping out other customers too). On another occasion, I was in a rush and came into the building to order because the drive-​through line was really long. I ordered and he noticed that I was sitting there ready to run out. He told me «Hey, let me get you out of here» and he grabbed my food which JUST finished and handed it to me so I could be on my way. Not only was he courteous but he respected my needs as the customer and went out of his way to make his customers happy (I’m sure he doesn’t get paid any extra to do what he does). I’ve been at fancier restaurants and have not received this kind of service. This man deserves an A++. I should have tipped him.
If you want a decent fast meal, with excellent service, go to this Whataburger and talk to the nice black guy. I will update this ambiguity when I figure out his name.
