It’s Walmart. They have everything you need. All the time. The part that turns you off is the long lines and how all the registers are never open. Hopefully that will improve. I Come here frequently.

We live south of Dallas and our Walmart options are limited so when this one opened we were excited. Unfortunately because they have to draw from the work force in this area they end up with less than focused employees. Today will be the last time I go there. I ordered online to save time and get what they do not keep in stock. They rolled out an advertising campaign stating they would have someone for fast check out and pickup for these orders. Right when you walk in is the desk to the left, it is unmanned so after awhile you might notice the credit card reader says to push to get an employee. After 12 minutes no one came, I called the store and this took 3 more minutes. I picked up my order and purchased a care care product in a box. Got home to find one of the fine customers that frequent the store had stolen some contents so I ordered online another thinking I would return this one and get what I paid for. So I went in today and did the same waiting thing for 10 minutes and ask a staff member to help and she said they would have someone there soon. Another 13 minutes total again. When they gave me the next box it had been pilfered as well. So now she tells me to go and stand in a 25 minute line to get my money back. In short I spent 2 trips to the store a total of 1.5 hrs to get nothing and will have to check bank records for one of the refunds. Both packages were gone thru. The online purchase was pulled from the shelf and had been used. The store manager agreed with my wife and I that staffing was a problem.

Ordered an item site to store found the department quickly and the person helped me quickly but that’s where the service part ended. The person who helped me couldn’t even give me her full attention she was so busy talking to another employee. When I had an issue she just told me find the number somewhere and couldn’t even direct me to phone number on who to call.

Older women tend to be much nicer. A few polite young adults work here… I moved to Dallas right before this place opened… it started off nice. But turned RATCHET quickly. Can’t complain. It’s a Walmart.

I’m usually not a Walmart shopper but I will make an exception for this store. This part of Oak Cliff was in dire need of another grocery store option. The store is well-kept and I like how it is organized. Service is pretty good and so far I have not experienced a long checkout time. What’s shocking is that there is a Subway inside. Yes, a Subway restaurant is inside the store and not the typical McDonald’s. Another plus is that they sell South Oak Cliff High School gear(Go Golden Bears!). Overall, it’s a decent store and has not been overly crowded.

The opening of this store in Oak Cliff is long overdue, granted there’s another store on Wheatland Road. The Wheatland store is overpriced, cramped, crowded, and not worth the trip, but that’s another story. In this area of Oak Cliff there is a short notice of stores: Sack-N-Save and Kroger closed years ago, so it’s either the Wheatland store or Minyards. I grew up in this area in the 90’s, these days I pass through on the way to my parents… so I decided to visit the store. I can say that it’s a nice Walmart store especially from the outside, has I made my way in it turned out to be a humongous inside. I was on the grocery side but needed some hangars. When I got to the other side of the store… it was hard not to notice how big it is, and how far I walked. The floors are nice and it still has that new smell. The employees greeted me when I entered and walking through everyone speaks and smiles. It reminds me of the old days in Walmart stores when they had great customer service. Keep it up… Good job Walmart in choosing this area to put this store.

This is really for yesterday. It’s a new store that recently open up. I think every Walmart is about the same but I notice that the workers are a little nice at this store. They spoke and said hi to me by their own doing– weird to me. I hear that it is not a 24 hour shop. The parking lot seem a little cramp to me but that could be me. Everything was the same — it’s a Walmart. They do have either police or security that sits high.(See Picture) I saw someone literally barbecuing in the parking lot. To the left side of the store — they set up a big stand about the Cowboys — with a big tv. Have no clue on what that’s about. TIP: only thing is learning a new parking lot.
