Very slow pharmacy. I’ve never had a prescription ready on time in 5 years. Today I dropped off a prescription at 10:15 and was told they’d text me in 30 – 60 minutes. I never got a text and when I was able to go back at noon they had mixed something up and hadn’t even started yet. Now waiting another 15 minutes while they«rush». This is the first bad review I’ve ever given, but sitting here wasting a big part of my work day, I felt compelled.

I like Walgreens. I do also think I am becoming increasing aware that they are more expensive than some of the box stores and grocery stores. Makes sense for the convenience but I bought a couple things there and was surprised that it is marked up a decent bit. This is a good Walgreens and truthfully I think they do a good job keeping them all up. I can’t think of a bad Walgreens off hand.

Dropped off my prescriptions to be filled in the store. The guy said it would be 20 – 25 minutes. I shopped around for about 15 then ran to my car to eat my lunch before it got cold. At 30 minutes I decided to go through the drive-thru. Another guy came up and asked«when did you drop these off?» And I said«I dropped them off 30 – 35 minutes ago. Who said they’d be ready.» And I said«the gentleman over there. «he quickly said, «Well it’s a 1 hour to 2 hour wait.» And I said, «Then why would he tell me 20 minutes ?!» He then snapped and said, «Well that’s only if you are going to sit and wait.» I then had my fill and told him that is ridiculous to only fill it if the person is literally sitting in eye shot, and very stupid marketing since I purchased over $ 40 of goods while waiting and shopping. He changed his tune and got them ready. Be warned if you drop off and say you are waiting, them know your every move.

Waited 20 mins for two prescriptions only to be told that one wasn’t available until Monday afternoon. Left and came back with another prescription. Had them check first before I waited again. Meanwhile, I tried to go to their public restroom only to be stopped by a keypad. Went back to the pharmacy and asked for the code to go use the restroom, he said he could get someone to open it for me. I told him, «No, thank you.» Since when did it become this difficult to get meds and use a public restroom in this country?!? I’ll stick to the CVS in the future.

This is my favorite Walgreens. The pharmacists are helpful, the employees are friendly, and the store is always clean and organized.

I like Walgreens. The employees here have been fine, the selection is there. The area is a bit sketchy so don’t be surprised if someone outside asks for money because they’re «out of gas.»

It’s a Walgreens. Good pharmacy service and good location. It’s what you’d expect from a Walgreens.
