Waffle House

Here for a business trip, after long days of training meetings and not full sit down meals had to find a good place to eat running on couple hrs of sleep my business partners and i woke up from a well deserved nap at 10pm wanting breakfast, so very conviniently a mile away from were we are staying we have been passing by this place several times and i said to myself i have to try it before we leave texas so we did !! and it was so pleasant from the minute we walked in we got greated by the ladies working there they were very nice and served us promptly our waitress was smily happy offered us something to drink right away and recomended us the special which came with the waffle eggs hashbrowns gravy bacon and toast the food came to us so fast she came to ask us if everything was ok and served more coffee, im sad that i didnt get her name because it would have been great to put it in here. I highly recomend this place to anyone that is in town for vacation visiting or business like me.

Love these places. Consistent everywhere I go. Love the scrambled eggs and cheese with raisin toast. Waffles the best out there. Staff always friendly, cheerful and fast.

Waffle House is the official state flower of the south. You can usually see the next one from the current one’s parking lot. The staple of late night road trips, caffeine fueled highway miles, and «damn, it’s Christmas and I reeeeaaaaly don’t want to cook.» Waffle House is a perennial favorite.
This particular Waffle House has a waiting area on weekends (no joke), and a host to organize the seating. During the week, it’s a low-​key, slow-​paced, easy breakfast.
I’m a fan.

We came on a Sunday ⁹⁄₁₃ at 11:30 am. The counter and siding room were full. There were a few tables waiting ahead of us. We only ended up waiting about 15 – 20 minutes which seemed totally reasonable for how small the restaurant is and how busy it was.
Dottie was our server. She was very sweet and gave us the perfect amount of attention. All the staff members were working hard and well together, which is nice to see.
The food was great. Our eggs were cooked perfectly, hash browns were nice and crisp on the outside, and the waffle was hot & delicious.
The only negative is how filthy the restaurant is-​especially the condiments. I’m sure it’s tough to keep things clean when you never close though.

This Waffle House is BY FAR the cleanest Waffle House I’ve ever been too.
The other about this Waffle House is they are consistent. I go in and order the same ¾ entrees and it taste the same everytime. You can’t go wrong with the steak and eggs with the hash browns covered and capped and the eggs scrambled with cheese with a side of toast! Can’t forget the sweet tea. Lawd!
The staff always puts on a show, especially if you go late night. One lady was talking about how she hangs he wig on a coat hanger when she takes them off… Lol comedy at its finest!

I guess this is as good as Waffle House gets. My boyfriend and I stopped here for late night breakfast on a weekend. It wasn’t crowded and the service was fast. The food tastes the same as any other Waffle House. They have great eggs and waffles of course. The service was nice, the server even caught the dirty water before we said anything! It’s Waffle House, don’t expect anything fancy and you won’t be disappointed.

It’s a Waffle House. So, my expectations weren’t exactly high. The server was completely bored and didn’t look like she cared if I stayed or left, the staff was sitting around chatting/​complaining/​gossiping about something. My food was dry (I asked for extra butter on my toast, but didn’t get it) and kinda cold. You really can’t ruin cheesy scrambled eggs, so those were ok. Glad they take CCs now. I expected the food to come faster, especially since their was only 3 other people in the joint. They earned their 3 stars.

Boss bought Waffle House! Happy 4^th to me! But this is an amazing place for breakfast. And it’s just up the road from my job! Yay me!!!

Quick service and friendly staff. Great breakfast and lunch. Always enjoy seeing Ruthie!

Food was great, they always have fast service. The employees are always so nice and friendly. I LOVE waffles and bacon!

I’m a big fan of cheap, fast and easy, don’t even have to change out of your PJ’s kind of place. Always enjoy the breakfast and strong coffee. But beware, if you get an order to go they don’t even half ass try. Check it before leaving the restaurant and then make them do it again correctly. I wanted my tip back when I got home and saw the slop they sent me home with. I’ll never make that mistake again. The hash browns were still cold, the bread had never seen the inside of a toaster, the eggs were cooked so long they were like pucks. Live and learn

It’s Waffle House ya’ll.
It’s not the cleanest.
Not the coziest.
But damn it, some of the best breakfast you’ll get hands down, regardless of the location. LOL!
I will note to proceed with caution if you’re coming with children to this location because there are women (and men that like said women)…with unconventional careers… that frequent this place… because of the proximity to their place of employment.
I’m just saying. Try not to stare.
