You’d think the patrons in this city would have had the training in their youth that the library is not an appropriate place for chit-chat. And you would think the staff could figure out how to close the door in the stacks area so that it doesn’t slam on its automatic closer. The mothers teaching the baby how to operate the elevator is adorable, so much so Mom makes sure the entire building can hear how exciting it obviously is.

This library is OK for what it is – it’s not as if there’s a lot of competition in the public-library space. I really, really wish they would have more weekend hours; to close at 5 on Saturday and not reopen until Tuesday morning is a real problem. It makes it difficult to go to the library with kids on the weekend(to get them interested in reading) or to find a homework resource. Maybe a 12 – 5 Sunday schedule might be in the cards for the future? Their Digital Services menu is quite extensive(and, of course, *it’s* open on weekends.)

Staffs are helpful, place is clean, shelves are stocked with good selections of books, convenient location, reading rooms with nice view. Online login has problems. Other than that, it’s all good.
