Let the Buyer Beware! I contacted Mr. Trimble to have a zinc/glass window in my entry way door replaced. He requested I send him photos of the area to be repaired. After he received the photos and reviewed the area to be repaired, we agreed, over the phone of a cost of $ 375. Because I was out of town, I had a friend house sit. My friend met with Mr. Trimble while he removed the old window and secured the open space with boards. He took the glass work in for repair and indicated he could have it ready in 3 or 4 days. He was finally able to complete the repair a week later. During my absence, my friend contacted Mr. Trimble to discuss the date for the re-installation and to confirm the final cost. He indicated the day would me a Monday or Tuesday. He also confirmed the cost would be the $ 375. O the day of installation, he installed the repaired window. He then informed my wife that the cost was now $ 425. He indicated there was additional work required that he was not aware of. She wrote an additional check for $ 50. He refused to honor his original quote of $ 375. He did a good job on the window replacement, albeit he was slow and very difficult to get hold of. But it was very dishonest of him to provide me a quote a(confirmed by my friend and then at the last minute change the cost of the job. This is wrong and should you decide to contract with Mr. Trimble, you do so at your own risk.
