I found Tram via Unilocal and I am so glad I found her! I came to get a bridesmaid updo done for a wedding and overall I had a good experience.
Tram is super cute and stylish and is friendly. I initially showed her a picture of what I wanted done and it turned out it didn’t look that great. I was worried but then Tram had another suggestion and styled my hair into a gorgeous chignon! Exactly what I expect from a professional. I got a ton of compliments at the wedding.
Her prices are reasonable especially compared to some other stylists and has the same value. Will be back to get a haircut from her next!

I’ve been going to Tram for over a year and she’s fantastic. I am a male professional musician and I need versatile hair that looks somewhat «normal» when not on the stage, and more theatrical while on stage. She gives me just the cut I need for both applications, and colors it regularly. She found just the right type of color for my needs. I highly recommend her as a hair stylist who is very friendly and pays attention to the small details.

Tram is an absolute sweetheart! She always fits me in even at the last minute and always does an amazing job with my hair. I have got a hair colour, cut, updo and deep treatment by her (basically everything by her) and she’s really efficient and good at what she does. She always listens to what you want and advises you accordingly. If you are looking for a new hairstylist I would definitely recommend Tram to you! 5 stars for sure!

Tram did a wonderful job on my highlights and I get compliments on it all the time. She’s a great person with an amazing personality, you can tell she loves what she does! From up-​dos to a cut and color, she does it all for a great price.

I really hate to write a bad review, but I was really disappointed with my experience. Tram was running late when I arrived and made little effort to even recognize I was sitting in the salon. She never apologized or addressed being late. I understand these things happen in a salon, but at the very least, recognize you are late and be nice enough to give at least a half-​assed apology.
When I sat down for the haircut, Tram was not particularly friendly and appeared totally disinterested in the entire process. I told her I wanted to cut my hair much shorter and her response was «Why would you do that?» I walked away with a really cute haircut that I have gotten a TON of compliments on, but I don’t particularly credit Tram with it, as she seemed totally disinterested and had to be coached through the entire process. Very disappointing.

Okay… so Tram worked us in for HOCO 2013!!! We did hair and make up this time around. My munchkin looked like a movie star. I will post a photo. The hair was great but the makeup was even better. She was the best looking girl in her group – and yes I’m biased. We will always go to Tram.
Down side – my munchkin looked like a movie star. Sad mom face. I want her to look 12 again.

I got color, highlights, cut, blow dry, and style for a great price, at a great salon! I told Tram what I was wanting, and along with her own suggestions on what I should do, my hair came out PERFECT! I will definitely continue to go with Tram!

I used tram for my wedding hair for me and one of my bridesmaids. She arrived at my place punctual and had everything ready to go. She’s very personable, friendly, and talented to say the least. She did an updo on my hair that was absolutely beautiful, kept the entire day. She even went the extra mile and asked me if I wanted shimmering glitter on my hair. I would recommend tram for styling your hair. Bring her a picture and she can come pretty close to matching it.

My girlfriend and I went to Dallas to visit her family. Needed a haircut and Was recommended to tram. I just went in and asked for a regular haircut for guys. Tram did an excellent job and gave good tips on how to style my hair. she was very pleasant to talk to and nice. A good price for a guy’s haircut.

Desperately looking for a new stylist after the previous one moved, I found Tram through Unilocal.I am glad I tried her out, thanks fellow Unilocalers! She not only listened to what I wanted but also gave me suggestions. She made me very comfortable and was very friendly, easy going and fun to talk to! I was in Richardson on business. Just had my color done at the Aveda Salon in Chicago. My color was brassy, drab, boring. Tram knew exactly what to do! I walked out looking fabulous!

Service: Tram wasn’t overly friendly on the phone. When I got there, she was running 20 minutes late. While doing my hair she would attempt conversation with friendly questions but then answered them herself, it was very awkward.
Hair: if you want an up-​do like one shown in the photos, she can do it quickly and flawlessly. But that’s where her skills end. When I asked her to try other styles she looked annoyed and kind of played with my hair before giving up. But then still charged $ 50 for the failed attempt, plus $ 50 for the up-​do that SHE wanted to try.
Cost: It’s not a good sign when someone can’t give you consistent answers up front about the price of their services. If you get her to do your hair, make sure you get a clear price estimate before hand.
Sketchiness: I was really blown away by all the good reviews. But then I noticed that a lot of them are from people in California (where she’s from). Did they all come to Dallas for a visit and each have their hair done while they were here… probably not

I too discovered Tram on Unilocal and was surprised there was someone as affordable as she is in my neighborhood. The location is perfect and I’ve had no problems getting an appointment at a convenient time. I appreciate that she is honest with me and gives her opinion about cut/​color but lets me request what I’m looking for– she really did exactly what I was looking for when I showed her with pictures on my last visit. I would definitely recommend her.

This is the first time for me at Stinson Studio Salon and I definitely will come back. Tram did a great job. She is nice, patient and really cares about her customers. I personally did not know what hair style I should do for my hair coz it was thin and flat. She actually helped me out, also gave me some tips about how to volumize my hair. I made appointment with Tram after a long time searching for a good place to cut my hair; luckily she didnt fail me at all.
Stinson is my love-​to-​go salon and Tram is my favorite hair stylist.

I visited Tram at her last place ‘Nita’s Hair’ last month. It was the first time I let a professional to do an updo for me. Tram did an unbelievable great job. I have a very thin and soft hair, and I never knew that my hair can look that good before. Highly recommend her to future brides for your big day or any girl that want to be stunning in an evening event.

I recently moved to Dallas from LA and I was desperate to find a stylist who could handle difficult Asian hair. I’m an Asian guy and as everyone who is Asian and guy knows, our hair is notoriously difficult to control unless it’s cut properly. I like to keep my hair mid-​length with minimal styling product. It’s the messy, styled look. Like you just woke up looking this good. Anyway, Tram does a great job. The best I’ve ever had done with my hair. She does a great razor-​cut, which is how to get that textured look even with difficult hair like mine, which is stiff and coarse. I use a very tiny amount of product to get it looking just right, and that’s it. My hair looks casually styled without being super-​hard from too much gel or wax in it. I use the matte shaping wax, like a tiny tiny amount on my fingertips. It all starts with a great haircut. Tram delivers.

Tram is awesome! I just happened to be in the area and although there are alot of places to get your nails done, Tram’s awesome Unilocal reviews naturally lead me to Let’s Go Salon — and I’m glad they did! Tram is so lovely and we had a great conversation. She has exceptional attention to detail, but also was able to have my manicure done in record time! I really enjoyed my manicure with Tram and would be sure to go back!

I don’t write Unilocal reviews… I just use Unilocal to find places I want to try. And I was tired of the cheap $ 12 haircuts where my stylist works on my hair like she’s a worker at an assembly line. So I found Let’s Go Hair on Unilocal and was attracted by their reviews and I decided to give them a try. My time with Tram was so wonderful, I had to leave a review. Tram is by far the most detailed and friendly stylist I’ve ever had. She spent so much time on cutting my hair, making sure the layers were a good length. I felt like I was really pampered.
She mentioned that my hair used to have highlights, and I asked how much of the highlights are left after the cut; she chuckled and said they’re pretty much gone. But I guess she realized that I was growing them out. So when she was measuring my layers, she saw some highlights left at the tips of my hair and asked if I wanted to trim them off. I was pretty happy at her attention to details. Now my hair has no leftover highlights!
The salon is pretty busy though. I got off work early on a Friday and thought I’d drop in to try out the place because I thought it would it wouldn’t be busy since people are at work… boy was I wrong. But Tram was able to fit me in after about a 20 min wait. Wash, treatment, haircut and style took about a hour long. She said this place is busier on the weekends. I heard another stylist on the phone with a customer say that they’re double booked. So it’s highly recommended to make an appointment… unless you have a lot of time to kill. Don’t make the same assumptions I did.

Just had my nails and hair done by Tram Vo. She is a talented and friendly hair stylist! And she does nails too! AAAA+++++ I enjoyed my experience with Tram. She’s so sweet and personable and very professional! I have to admit that I was first afraid of trying a new person for hair, but she made me feel comfortable. I also loved my new french tip gel manicure. Everyone compliments me on my hair and nails. Thanks TRAM! Will definitely be back!
