This is the best restaurant in the area and the service is amazing! We been going here since they opened and have never had a bad experience!

This place has awesome food! Everything we’ve tried here has been delicious. The service is excellent! Love this place! We eat here at least once a week! We’ve never had a complaint and we’ve never left hungry! Good sized portions!

We had the California stake burrito and the shrimp soft tacos. Both were good and it was on our table in about 15 minutes. Salsa was a bit on the hot side, which i liked! I want to recognize the outstanding service we received from Amy our waitress… She is by far the BEST I’ve seen there. Very polite, told us about the special of the day and gave us her recommendation on a drink. Which was a very good choice according to my girlfriend!

Good little restaurant filled with locals; I don’t consider the food authentic, more on the Tex-Mex side. I don’t find the staff very friendly except for the bartenders which is where we normally sit(for that reason). My favorite item on the menu are the shrimp tacos.

I eat here all the time. Food is great, I almost always have good service and they are always friendly. At this point many of them know what my drink order is. Their steak tacos and chicken fajitas are my favorite.

This was the first restaurant we visited when we moved to the area. The food is just ok and the service is not much better.

We love Totopos and try to eat there at least once a week. Reasonably priced, fresh ingredients, large portions and great service are the consistent standard. The only downside to this nice little spot are that its in a wifi dead zone for ATT which can be a little inconvenient as you are waiting for a takeout order.

I started this review bragging about the phenomenal food and service(while we were still at the restaurant). Mid-review, my s/o found a hair in his food, but we wrote it off as a fluke and didn’t mention it to management. I stand by the fact that the food and service are great, BUT… One day later, while eating our leftovers, we BOTH found more hair in our food!!! The hairs are consistent with mustache or pubic hair. I obviously won’t be finishing my leftovers or returning to Totopo’s. 3 hairs in 2 meals is inexcusable.

This place has yet to disappoint! I live really close, and my husband and I have a weakness for Mexican so I had hoped for the best. We were not disappointed. The restaurant is clean, and has a great atmosphere. The service has been wonderful and we have experienced very little wait time. All of that aside the food is why we have become repeat customers. The steak is cooked to order, and has been perfect each time. We have yet to find a menu item we didn’t like. On our most recent visit I had the California burrito, it was great! One of my favorite things about this place is that their food does not come out covered with sauce or cheese. You really taste the food itself. Their cheese dip is amazing. My husband said he wanted to order a bowl of it with a straw.

When I walked in to this restaurant I didn’t realize it doubled as a daycare center. I ordered food to go, as I was walking out one of the servers who was standing by the front door shouted in my ear, «NOMA’AM, THEDOORISLOCKED». I believe the reason the door was locked was because she was playing around and locked someone out of the restaurant. She shouted so loud that my ear still hurts almost an hour later. She’s lucky I don’t suffer from PTSD, otherwise, she really could have done some damage to my mental state. I ordered a barbacoa taco and guacamole. I almost choked on the taco since I was expecting a corn tortilla and not the chewy consistency of a flour tortilla, which is not traditional for a taco; the meat tasted okay. The guacamole did not taste good, so I could not continue to eat it. Maybe the nerve damage she caused in my ear also affected my taste buds.

Great place to eat. Always clean and friendly. The chicken soup is very good. We have never had a bad meal there. Great little bar also.

We ate here when they first opened and it was awful. We gave it more than a year and it has not improved. They health score is an 88, and wish I saw that on the way in. I ordered the simplest of things, beef tacos. The meat tasted like stale fish and the shells were stale. The only positives were my top shelf margarita and my daughters shrimp burrito. Do not waste your hard earned money here. There are other choices close by. Also they did not offer to remove the tacos from my bill. Do not eat here. They are overpriced with crappy food and service.

We went there for dinner a few weeks back with our young kids. We were seated outside quickly. The hostess said someone would be out shortly to get our drink order. After that, 4 more couples were seated outside as well. We noticed after about 10 – 12 minutes that all the other tables had a server come out and take drink orders, bring chips, etc., but not us. The manager then came out and was talking with various tables of what appeared to be regulars. After several minutes of this, he looked over and saw my obviously angry looking face. He came over, and I explained the issue. After that, we were quickly taken care of. The food came out in relatively short order, and other than a server that was slow bringing out requested items(napkins, refills, etc.), it was a pleasant meal. The food was very good, and we felt it was a great value(other than the crushed lays potato chips they sprinkled on one of the appetizers… seemed cheap, considering you have deep fryers and could make your own chips that would taste /look better). We will go back and try it again, and hope to have better service.

We went when it was getting close to closing. Not many people in the restaurant. The atmosphere was quiet, but the food was good! We split the mixed fajitas, which had nothing special, but was fairly tasty. I’d definitely go back again.

This place accommodated us for a birthday party bc the restaurant across town lost their liquor license… Good job! And I judge a Mexican place by it’s poblano’s and OMG the ones here are the best I’ve had in a LONG time! 2 thumbs up!

Totally different and not in a good way. I don’t know if they changed hands or what the heck is going on but our food wasn’t fresh and our waitress never even attempted to smile. The food was sub par and disappointing. J had the«world famous» barbacoa beef tacos. He asked that instead of rice and beans could he get another side. Waitress replies«like what» with attitude. Really? Like it matters. Or, sure, what would you like and then upcharge if you need to. Sorry, back to the topic at hand. The toppings for the 3 tacos you had to order. He ordered the slaw and guac. The sides came in little tiny cups — like the ones you get ketchup in at McDonald’s tiny — that were barely enough for one taco, much less three. My fajitas were okay. Seasoned well but the chicken was tough and dry. The tortillas were inedible, gooey messes that I could not even pull apart. We went to this restaurant maybe a year ago-ish and had a good experience. Food was fresh and presentation was good. Waiters were young, friendly and upbeat. Then, we went this past Sunday and this was our experience. Don’t think I will be going back.

Salsa is hit or miss. Steak nachos are decent. Pork carnitas are not that bad. Carne asada is okay… It kills the beef o bradys that was there, which was the worst restaurant ever. I smell like a smoking plate of onions and beef when I get home(not a good thing). It’s only a mile from my house and it is above average of the 25 mexi joints in the area. The live music is a plus and I plan on going back when I’m in the mood for mexican again.

This place is a newer trendy, reasonably priced Mexican place. The chips are uniquely light and crispy, which was cool. They have some unique drink flavors that I had never heard of before too. I think one was like a Lulu Margarita. Whatever it was, it was pretty darn good and wasn’t too pricy. I really enjoyed this corn and chicken appetizer, which I’ve never had anything like before. It had a strange name I can’t remember, but if you look or ask for it, I’m sure the staff will point you in the right direction. I had a great pork dish with some kind of an herbal mustard sauce(maybe called Mexi pork?). The pork was amazingly lean and tender, and the sauce was really different and not overpowering. I think the waiter said it was the owner’s family recipe. I definitely recommend it! I was pretty full by the time desert was offered, and noticed they didn’t have a tres leches(my fav), so I passed this time. If you’re tired of the same old Mexican places, I’ve got to recommend this one. I’ll be coming back!

I went in for lunch. The service was great, food was better and the price for what you got was the best. The restaurant was very clean. I will be going back.
