I’ve used Top Hat for over 3 years, both for dry cleaning and laundry of large garments. They provide excellent, timely service with a friendly smile.
While they do have you sign a receipt with a limited release for laundry of large garments, this is pretty standard for professional laundry service of large garments, in my experience. They’ve laundered several of my comforters and I have no complaints. :)

I took my comforter there for a dry clean. They asked me to sign a small piece of paper, basically it releases them of all responsibilities if my item was damaged such as discoloring, staining, etc. I was never asked to sign such release at any other cleaners. I feel it is very unreasonable for them to ask customers to sign such paper. Because if their service stains and discolors customers’ goods, they should NOT be in the laundry business. Besides, even if some other cleaners accidentally discolor or damage the customer’s clothing or fabric, they would compensate the customer because they are professionals, this one IS NOT! Don’t go there!
