I walked in to bring a duvet cover and was quote $ 32 to 38 to dry clean it. I work close by so that is why I chose this place. This place was almost $ 20 more then my usual place but I needed it done and didn’t feel like lugging it over there. When I picked it up she charged me even more than what was quoted … $ 42!!! Really??? So when I arrived to pick up my cover, the owner didn’t say«hi, how are you?» She said … «are you feeling better today?» I was shocked. She asked something to the affect that I was in a bad mood when I came in. I then replied that I am fine and she just appeared to be VERRRRY nosey. I was like wow! I don’t even know this person and they are nosing into my private life. So in conclusion, they are too expensive and rude.

I stopped into Tonya’s Cleaners when my usual cleaners were closed at 6:30PM. Lucky for me, Tonya’s stays open until 7PM on weekdays and then until 5PM on Saturday(my usual cleaners closes much earlier on the weekends). This might seem like a small difference in store hours, but it makes a big difference in terms of dropping off(or picking up clothes) either after work or late on the weekends. On my first trip, I met the 2 owners who were incredibly friendly and did a great job in cleaning my tuxedo. This location is in the same shopping center as Tupinamba’s and the Starbuck’s and across the street from Jesuit. All things being equal between cleaners in the Forest & Inwood area, I will steer my business to Tonya’s Cleaners given their friendly service and expanded business hours.
