This place looked like it was going to be so neat. Got here and there was a note on the door saying they didn’t pay rent. Sorry I missed out on Toad in the Hole, look forward to seeing what pops up here next and what they do with the space.

I really wanted to love this place. The management was friendly and outgoing. The space is great. We came to try the food and it was not great. There was live music and it was so loud you couldn’t even have a conversation. Maybe, I went in expecting something different. I was hoping for a triple D kind of thing, but it was really just a big bar that served some average-at-best English food.

We walked into this place and all TVs were on Football ! What is not to like about that. This place is huge. Kinda of scary We were the only diners in at 7:46 on a Thursday night . The menu was was minus some items the waitress informed us. We are going to do some changes, she said. Oh well Fish and Chips, Shepard’s Pie, and Onion Rings did the trick. But no Bangers and Mash ! Come on ! We ordered Calamari to start and it was delicious. The Onion Rings come with a White Truffled Dip that was outstanding. The Shepard’s Pie was different from most I’ve had but very tasty. Fish and Chips Winner Very crisp batter with a lot of flavor . 4 Stars is given !

From the moment I walked in, felt immediate pub love! If I were to open a neighborhood spot, this would be my benchmark. Just had a natural ease and flow to it plus loved the wine/library cozy décor in general. Crowd wasn’t bad for early eve and had a pretty diverse mix of ages. Great prices on beer/wine for the area and the menu offered a good variety with a few fresh items to boot. We snacked on a cheese and fruit tray, had much more than expected! The music wasn’t too loud, easy to converse and hear those around you. Additional seating to the bar includes a spacious outdoor patio and a livingroom type area with cozy sofas. A few avg size TV both indoors and out. Great spot!

Great British pub to grab a beer and watch some sports! Nice space, friendly staff, and reasonable drink prices too.

So I’ve decided to alter my statement and make this review a little more reasonable. You will enjoy this bar if you’re into the age 30 and over crowd, plays country/rock music in the front room, and somehow at the same time manages to change it up for a different crowd at the pool area in the back of the bar, to a dj that plays 1990s-early 2000s hip hop/top 40 radio music and favors the fire alarm siren sound. If you particularly like this sound effect I suggest you visit because it gets pressed about 50 times per hour.

I came here while on business in town at the Sheraton up the road. It was a Monday and it was completely dead, which was fine by me. It is a big spacious place with a very minimal British décor for a place that says it’s a British pub. I think I have more stuff from the UK in my basement bar. I was disappointed right of the bat when I was trying to get my favorite local brew blood and honey but the tap for it was not working. That really sucked since I’m from NJ and it can only get it on business trips to Dallas. Next I Asked for a cider being a British pub and they were out of strong bow but they did have Stella cider. Waitress was nice and and attentive. First up I ordered a scotch egg for an appetizer and was surprised it was covered in mayo. In all my travel in the UK I have never seen it that way. It was a shame cause they were great after scraping off the mayo. Also the waitress dumped one of my eggs on the table making a big mayo mess. She apologized and it was an accident, though she said she would replace it. She never did. For dinner I got their special the toad in the hole which had sausage they made in house. It was not bad but the sausage was over cooked which made it a little dry and chewy. I was going to give this place 2 stars but my friends who had the shepards pie said it was really good. So I settled on 3 stars

This is a neat place to eat and drink. The main dining area is very roomy and there’s a ton of space between tables so it doesn’t feel like a pub. Theres a separate room in the back with pool tables. I went on Saturday night so there was a live band performing on stage. My boyfriend and I ordered the Toad in the Hole and the grilled beef sliders with fries. The sliders were on a pretzel bun with a blue cheese aioli– delicious. Fries were very thickly cut and crispy sprinkled with pepper and salt– also great. The toad in the hole was disappointing. The sausage was good, but everything else it came with was overly salted. The lemon roasted broccoli just tasted like overly seasoned steamed broccoli without lemon. I’m rounding up to 4 stars because the atmosphere was really neat and laid back. I would definitely come back to try some of the other items on the menu. I’m hoping tonight was just an off night for that one dish.

The only bad thing about this place is the limited parking. You can valet but you might be in line a while! While you are waiting to park, you will be missing out on the cute bartenders, phenomenal waitstaff, tasty food(MUSTTRY the signature Toad– in-the-Hole dish), the live entertainment, and the UK/Vegas/Hollywood atmosphere this place has going on. The food and drink prices are very budget friendly. If you are brave and don’t care what people think, put on your swimwear and take a dip in the pool(this is where the Vegas/Hollywood comes in)! The pool area is beautiful and relaxing with a view of downtown. They have a DJ to spin you into Summer ecstasy. This will be one of my chill spots for the near future.

Love the pool area! Its a must see! They also have an outdoor bar and the food here is great! You must get the buger if you are in the mode for one! Its a pretty big place where you can sing on a stage, play some pool, or jump in a pool! The management here was very attentive! If a drink was not up to satisfaction of a customer, he himself would personally remake it! When you come here, its the perfect little get away if you can get in that back pool area and lay back and relax!

Okay so I originally came in during a lovely Unilocal event. I have, today decided to return… could’ve been a fluke, you know. It was NOT. We ordered the exact same thing: * Field Green Salad comes out quickly, always fresh, simple yet nice combination of shredded carrots, walnuts, and onions. With just the. right amount of vinaigrette * Hamburger I believe it is Angus and flame broiled. either way it is a burger that I will be able to return to many times. The meat is just the right weight and the bun is so light and. airy. It is buttered and toasted. The bun and the burger have to dance in tandem. Neither overpowers or fails to support the other. The same can be said about the toppings. * Chicken sandwich Damn! The chicken sandwich is good too! Solution: halfsies!!!(with a willing dining partner). Perfectly fried, never greasy, flavorful but not too. Honey mustard was the perfect addition. Again the bun was ‘givin it’ * Masters I love a good side of fries. Both sandwiches came with fries. they are thick cut possibly in house. They tasted fresh and we’re dusted with salt possibly sea salt. I could see the salt crystals so I’m thinking it was not iodized which I steer away from. These mashers are wonderful and non greasy like the fried chicken. I ate so many… happily I felt full but not heavy. I don’t know what the kitchen is doing but they doin it and doin it and doin it well. Shot out to the back of the house. My waitress was Megan both times and she rocks!!! Not too pushy and doesn’t pull disappearing acts either. Thanks for always adding to our experience. I’ll be back. …obvi

Awesome place to chill even if you don’t drink alcohol! I think Kevin must have a stick up his ass because the food and service were excellent! The live music was fantastic too and there are pool tables, dart boards, lots of TVs and an outdoor swimming pool! 3 bars in total, so there is no shortage of drink service ATALL. I didn’t swim, but when I put my hand in there, I didn’t go «Yikes that’s cold» so I think it might be heated. The whole place is VERY spacious and the temperature inside was SPOTON. There is really nothing bad to say about this place that I can think of!

Brand spanking new! The staff is very attentive. Drinks are good. Was astonished with the back pool-cabana area. Will definitely become a hot spot this summer. I don’t expect it to bring rough crowds either. I ordered a salad but my team loved the chicken and risotto If you haven’t been, check it out!

Drinks are ok. Food is average. The service is awful. Took 36 minutes to get an appetizer with maybe 20 people in the whole place.

Not your average British pub. Not only does it have a live band on weekend nights, it’s got several fancy pool tables, chandeliers multiple(and long) bar areas throughout, and the food is delectable. What more could you want? I looked around and immediately caught notice of the cool vintagey décor directly in line with the overall pub theme. It’s a massive space, good for groups and boisterous time. But it somehow still caters to all tastes. If you want a more intimate experience you can do that too. It’s a large enough space that you can grab a table near one of the bright windows and order away. And I suggest that you do! Try everything. We tried the pesto meatballs, fish and chips, chicken risotto and bangers and mash! Divine! Each and every menu item was better than the next. As if the drink prices weren’t enough to win you over, the restaurant aspect of this place will keep you coming back. Welcome to the neighborhood, Toad In The Hole!

I was pleasantly surprised! There was a little bit of everything here. Live band, food, hookah, pool tables as well as a swimming pool and cabanas out back. My friends and I stumbled upon this place tonight but will definitely be returning in the summer when the weather gets nicer. The place had a nice feel to it– classy but not somewhere that you had to get extremely dressed up for. There is a ton of space for both sitting and chilling as well as dancing. Owned by the same people who own Sunset Lounge so if you like that, you will love this place! Didn’t even feel like Dallas– new summer«getaway» spot.
