The Weave Shop

I found the weave shop online before moving to the Dallas area. I told my sister about it, she actually visited the shop before I did. Before this year, I had never had a sew in. I’m a naturalista, lately I’ve just wanted a break from all of the maintenance that comes with natural hair.
My experiences with this salon have been mostly positive. I have yet to get a $ 50.00 weave. I have a lot of hair, so every time I’ve gone in, it has been suggested that I received a circular braid. And of course, this cost more money. I’ve also been offered a weaving cap, the up charge for a cab it’s $ 5. Really! The last time I was in, I asked the stylist if I could bring in my own, this would only cost me $ 1.00 from the beauty supply store.
Overall my weaves have turned out OK. I normally like curly hair, less maintenance. My stylists have been professional. The salon is clean.
The only negative thing I can say, they require the stylists to wear black. Some of them look like they just rolled out of bed. Some of the conversations get a little loud and racy. Also, I signed up for an email and mailing list, I have never received a mailer, email, or phone call. No specials, coupons, or thank yous. I would say that I am a regular customer, I also tip well. I would like a little customer appreciation. One more thing, I live in Plano. My drive is nearly an hour, it would be nice to have another location to consider.

I saw this place while out at target. I did not go in but looked it up online and went to their website. I called to make an appointment for Saturday & was told that they take walk in’s on Saturdays… If I wanted an appointment they schedule them during the week. No problem for me because I like options. I went on Saturday before their opening time at 9 am, I got there at 8:30. There were 4 people in line already and it grew. So get there early… They provide hair for $ 80.00. I suggest buying your own before you get there if you want to save $. I got the $ 88.00 no closure deal and im loving it. GG (my stylist) was very attentive and professional. I would ask for her. She took her time and ensured that I was satisfied… The other stylists did great work also on their clients. If you go ASK FOR GG. She took her time and was almost anal about perfection on my cut and happiness. Im going back and highly recommend this shop.

So I have always passed right by here whenever I wpuld go to target without giving it a second thought. I really wanted some hair extensions and my sisters friend told her about this place. So I called made an appointment and went to get my hair put in. It is a very cute place very clean and organized. The girls who work there are soo sweet, helpful and friendly. The owner too is very nice. I have been here a handful of times but I have a great experience each time I come in. I highly recommend this place. They do excellent work and have very reasonable prices. Love this place and will continue to come here.
