Nice contemporary place in a new location. Some local artist and some non local. I love how the employees are pretty passionate and knowledgable about the art they host. They employees are also super approachable unlike other galleries around the area. Follow one of their social media accounts for upcoming shows and openings.

Sadly, I’ve overlooked this Deep Ellum art gallery over a dozen times. I finally went a weeks ago and soaked up the culture. I enjoyed unique contemporary works of art, sipped complimentary wine and mingled with an interesting, lively crowd. Sure it’s pretty small, but they had a variety of exhibitions and it made for an exclusive-feeling night with friends. The star of the show centered around Sunday Peoples: A Group Exhibition for the Love of Bicycles. Basically, a bunch of wildly creative artists collaborated in constructing a beautiful display of bikes and bike culture. Afterward, there were several events in line with the theme to follow: race, repair and party! I’ve been on a gallery kick lately, and I consider Public Trust a very hip convenient option in the busy neighborhood. Besides… free wine can’t hurt either!

The quality of pieces Brian Gibb(owner of the Public Trust) chooses to showcase is stellar. He seems to fully grasp the way of the future in terms of contemporary art. Every artists represents not only have their own definitive and unique style, but the works are more than just concept, as well. The execution and attention to talent and detail of each work in the gallery is undeniably top tier. In particular, the artist exhibitions of Brent Ozaeta, Billy Zinser, Stephen Hopwood Lewis, and Blakely Dadson are uniquely wonderful but still maintain that fresh, pop-art-esque trend that is trailblazing the way of the urban art. Boasting mediums of print, oil on canvas, and even mixed media, this gallery will blow your mind mind and eyesight!

I found out about this venue through an event through Unilocal and I don’t think I would have known about it elsewise. Located in Deep Ellum this is a contemporary art gallery. We were given a tutorial on screen printing and it was really cool to see how it was done. I am not an artist by any means but enjoy seeing what others are capable of doing. I look forward to future events here.

Good local art. Quirky, contemporary. Definitely a must check out for Dallas locals. This place doesn’t get enough press or attention.

Formerly Art Prostitute, this is the place to find the up and coming national artists. If you’ve picked up a copy of Juxtapoz or looked at a skateboard as art, chances are you’ve seen some of the artists who regularly show in this Deep Ellum treat. This gallery should be on your list of ‘cool places to bring visiting friends’ when you need to show them ‘Dallas ain’t so bad.‘ The gallery has also hosted music and literary events, thrown parties and the openings are certainly a see & be seen hipster crowd that draws folks from all around DFW area.
