Oh my GOD. The crazy continues! When I replied to their comment on the Living Social site saying that my issues were with business practices(because I don’t care how fat I am, you can’t blame the therapist’s lateness on it!), they replied with the most unprofessional and untrue accusations! You see, they’re massage therapists, not counselors so when I confessed that I was miserable about my weight and unhappy because I can’t find a boyfriend… well, that’s just not in their expertise to handle and you know sometimes massage therapy can stir things up… Except that I never EVER said anything of the kind! Patently untrue on all counts but just because I dared say that the emperor is naked then suddenly I’m some stereotypical sad-sack fattie who just can’t get a man(because you know that’s all there is to life, right?). And this is after guessing my weight by sight — incorrectly by over 200lbs, mind you — and diagnosing health issues based on body size. I cannot even wrap my brain around this. They accused me of anger issues. Well, if that’s the case then they won’t be surprised when I go She-Hulk on the next crazy-ass reply. Do yourself a favor — RUN far far away from this business. It’s a Tar Baby of Crazy; the more you fight it, the more stuck you get. You think it can’t be that bad but DON’T. Just don’t. EDIT: For irrefutable evidence of the Epic Level of Batshit Crazy, look no further than their reply to this review. Quite a witty rejoinder. Middle school mean girl argument tactics… yeah, that’s professional. What’s left? «I know you are but what am I?» SERIOUSLY. Unreal.

I read some of the reviews below and I must say I was in shock because I have totally had the opposite experience. Everything was professional, Friendly, Inexpensive. I got some quality therapy with the pamper zone and they actually went above and beyond the call of duty.

I had a less than pleasant experience at The Pamper Zone in Dallas. I called to make an appointment and it was very difficult to find a time that worked. I ended up taking a day off work and scheduling my appointment a month in advance. I received an email notification confirming my appointment. When I showed up 10 minutes early(assuming I’d have to fill out paperwork since I’d never been there before) the door was locked and the lights were out. I called the phone number on my Groupon voucher but only got voice mail. I began to get frustrated cause I had taken the day off. I left a couple of messages and left a note, then left 15 minutes past my appointment time. The lady I had made the appointment with(phone# on the voucher) did call back and tell me they had made a mistake and wrote down my appointment wrong in their schedule, but agreed that they did in fact send me email with the correct time to confirm. She offered to get me in at that moment for my massage but I wasn’t available to turn around and go back to the facility cause then I would have been late for another appointment. It was very frustrating since I had taken the day off. I told the lady(Denise Davis) that I would call back and reschedule, but when I did the only options were M-F after 6pm. Furthermore, they would be closed the last 2 weeks of the year when I was off. I was very disappointed.

DeNise gave an excellent sports massage on yesterday. I purchased a Google Offer for a $ 39.00 massage and chose the sports massage. I was in awful pain and discomfort. After that one hour session, I will continue to be a loyal customer. The Pamper Zone rocks!!!

I can not believe this place. I am glad that a representative of this company responded to my comment. This shows the lunacy of this place with this completely made up comment about racism and Tea Party. This discussion never happened and I had already contacted Living Social to get a refund so there was no appointment scheduled. I can not believe they have resorted to harassing people online through Unilocal.Stay away from this place! I would second the negative comments on this place. I am thinking that the one positive comment on this place is from the owner. I tried to schedule an appointment at this establishment and had purchased a Living Social Voucher. When I mentioned this, the person answering the phone sighed and definitely indicated to me, a new customer, that she was not happy that I was using a Living Social Voucher. She then put me on holc. Then after a few minutes of having me on hold, she told me that the scheduling system was down. I am so glad I wasted my time on hold when she could have told me that before putting me on hold. She said she would call me back the next morning to schedule an appointment. She called me the next afternoon(not morning). She then proceeded to tell me that they probably did not have any time the week that I wanted the appointment, but she could not confirm that. Then, she put me on hold. She came back on and then put me on hold three more times before she confirmed no time that week. She was extremely rude in tone as she asked me when I wanted an appointment and that it would probably not be until November.(Based on the comments on Unilocal about this place, I doubt that they are that popular.) She said to name a date over two weeks out when I would want to come in. I gave her a date and she put me on hold again. Then, when she came back on she rudely(again in tone) suggested I try a different time that day. Finally, we had a time and then she asked for my Living Social Voucher number. I did not have that handy and noted that I needed to look it up. I also commented that this was taking a long time just to schedule an appointment. At this point, we were over 15 minutes. I was shocked when she had the gall to respond that I was being rude and then she hung up on me. I believe they decided that they did not want to honor the Living Social Voucher and so this was their way of doing that.

I brought a groupon recently for an aromatherapy/hot towel 60 min massage. All I can say is the previous reviews description just as I experienced! Nothing was as it said and seemed very shady. I did the same had trouble finding the business once inside the building. Called and the lady answered and said the suite # was a miss print; and asked me to wait on the 3rd floor. There was a little sitting common sitting area where I waited. A man came out to greet me — asked if I was waiting for a massage. Everything he did or said referred to she said to give you this she said to do this??? So I filled out the general form while he waited around the corner until I finished. I got up to find him, and he was just standing there so I gave him the form. He then lead me to the 5th floor into a room, setup like a massage room. I watched him the whole time while on our way up to the 5th floor. no uniform, only a bottle of what now I know was a bottle of oil hanging from his back pocket. I asked did they just move in the building, he could only answer he don’t know he just started. Never met the Lady who answered the phone; never saw an office; No hot towels; no aroma! This was the craziest experience I have ever had with massages. My warning is be sure to check out these groupon establishments closely. I really felt like these people could be a scam and would be running off with the money they got from the groupons soon. Most uncomfortable feeling.

I really appreciate the response from the company because it allows me the privilege of further exposing the special brand of crazy that this organization promotes by giving people the exact events that transpired when I called to use my Living Social voucher. I called the number for the Pamper Zone from my cell phone. When the organization picked up the call there was dead sound. In other words, I heard nothing. I hung up the phone but before being able to call back an issue came up that I had to tend to. While I am tending to that issue, my cell phone rings. I see that it is the number for the Pamper Zone and I pick up the phone. An irate person on the other line says«Did you just call here?» I said, «Yes, I did but there was not any sound so I decided to call back later.» The person said, «Yes, I was there saying Hello, hello, but you never said anything.» I said, «Well, I’m sorry, I didn’t hear anything but I assume that we just had a bad connection.» The person said(again with much attitude), «Well, ma’am, I can only tell you what I know happened. Did you need something?» At this point, considering the company’s method of interacting with customers and assuming that it is in my best interest NOT to use this facility, I reply, «Um, actually, no. Thank you.» And I hung up. Shortly thereafter, I received another phone call from the Pamper Zone, and I allowed the call to go to voicemail. The voicemail that was left said«Ma’am, I would appreciate it if you don’t call here anymore harassing us. This is a business and I will report you to the police department!» Since I am now thinking that this is complete insanity and surely just a rogue employee, I thought that if it was my business, I would want to know. So, I called back a few hours later, did not get anyone but left a voicemail message descibing the scenario and advising the owner or manager to look into it because they are likely losing other customers due to this woman. About an hour later, I received a long rambling voicemail from someone purporting to be the owner. I have transcribed it for your pleasure and edification. «I am the owner of this establishment. My name is Michelle Laker(sp). And I just got your message and I am sorry about what happened but it would probably be better if you did get a refund for your money or give those y’know coupons to someone else because from the voicemail that I heard and also from the conversation that was recorded. Um… we listened to both the incoming conversation that you made and we listed to our receptionist conversation as well, we have just delineated that it would probably be better if you did get a refund. And we apologize if we have done anything to offend youbut from what we’ve heard it was a mutual set of abuses. And so the customer’s always right y’know but we don’t like our employees abused either. We just really would… we will talk to Living Social about this matter and we haven’t had any other complaints because y’know we have been in business for 8 years. So, we strive to make the client very comfortable — we’re called the papmper zone — and we want to make sure we do pamper you. We realize that people have so many stresses with everyday living and we don’t want to cause other stresses. So, it is just much to our chagrin that it has come to this but sometimes everyone cannot be pleased and we wish you luck and may God bless you.» You have been warned.

The owner of the massage therapy clinic was very professional. I haven’t known a therapist that is as knowledgeable about her profession as her. By just explaining your symptoms she is able provide the perfect therapy. Very thorough and lasting massage. Can’t wait for my next one!
