This was our first visit. We have just moved to the neighborhood and needed to find a place where we could get lunch and a local beer. We found both here. The menu isn’t huge, which makes it great. Everything on the menu sounded great. I had the deli sandwich and my wife had the French dip. Both were just the right amount of food for the price. They also have a HUGE beer selection to choose from that includes Texas craft beer. We also really enjoyed the atmosphere of the place. They have a main floor and upstairs. We will be back!

Hard to beat the selection of beers, service, knowledgeable wait staff and ambiance. Food menu is a little too limited though everything on it is quite good.

Great selection constantly changing but keeping the good ones on tap. Better than average bar/restaurant food. Pretzels are a must as is any IPA on tap. Lots of local craft brews.

First, you should know that the grub here is quite good. It’s not all greasy pub food. Secondly, you should know the patio is lovely. With a nice view of the Lakewood Theatre, it’s surprisingly scenic for the area. Thirdly, I’ve always had great service here. The bartenders and wait staff are friendly, helpful, and patient.

I got the beer companion as my app. It was so delicious and was perfect with my flight.

Our go to afternoon beer spot. Outdoor covered porch upstairs and Windows downstairs that completely open up. Great beers on tap that rotate often. If you are looking for somewhere dark to sit and sulk in your own misery there are tables inside that are perfect for that to. The fresh pretzel is delish. Don’t order the chips you will only be disappointed — they are from a bag — and even come in the bag to your table. Other than that, this place is great !

One of the better iterations of the Ginger Man concept. Seems almost as big as the Austin one & it’s comfy & inviting. Usual broad selection of great craft beer, clean tap lines, however I wish Ginger Mans in general had more rotators. Also the non-beer-geek friendly policy of only 2 samples per customer is kinda crazy for a craft beer focused establishment.

I’m so happy that this has come to my neighborhood. Friendly bartenders. Nice layout and parking is usually easy. They have trivia on Mondays. The trivia volume was way too loud so it was hard to talk. Other than that, great place.

This place would be fine for what it is, but when I visited over the holidays, I tried ordering five different beers off their menu, each of which they were out. One or two would be forgivable, but after that point, either they need to print a new menu or have the staff inform customers of shortages prior to ordering.

My review is specifically for using them for a holiday party(due to the fact that my husband and I love coming here on our own). It couldn’t have been easier, more professional, and stress free. No one had an empty glass, the food spread was awesome, and they were very accommodating for 65 people. Steps to hold event here: 1. Call and get date set 2. Receive a beer/party platter list via email 3. Respond with beer/food requests 4. Show up and receive impeccable service A big thank you to the managers and staff! We will definitely continue to host events here.

Clean and staff is very friendly. Remember beer and wine only and the music does get a little loud so if you want to talk to your friends. Sit on the outside. Food is ok nothing special but the cheese platter is good. I’m t is a new place but I have to say does not match the Italian place that it took over.

This Ginger Man is the latest addition to a growing regional chain. And this one carries the tradition forward very well. Like the others, they have a great selection of both local and national craft beers both bottled and on draft. Good pub grub and, on the night we were there, an acoustic band played on. Service was friendly and helpful. Located in the heart of Lakewood, this pub has the potential to become a neighborhood hangout. Seating is available both inside and outside. With dark paneled walls the place has a bit of an old school vibe without feeling stuffy.

This was my first hang at the Dallas Ginger Man… but it was equally, if not cooler, than the previous location I visited. Our night started pretty early on a Friday night, the place was semi-sparse but that just meant the staff was more attentive… which they were great btw. We ordered some humus and a big olé pretzel to accompany our beers. Again the staff was great at helping us choose a brew or two and also were cool to let us stake our claim early on and stay for the majority of the evening. If you’re looking for chill hangout spots with good food, beer, a jukebox, and a balcony… this is a great spot in Lakewood to get you some.

THis is a fine addition to the Gingerman family. Located right in the heart of the Lakewood area I have found a place to stop at and wind down when work takes me to the 75214 zip code. They, of course, have a great selection of brews. Nothing surprising there. The staff seemed very friendly-although it was slow when we were there so we probably got a little more time with them than would normally be the case. The suggestions they made for the beer neophyte were on point and appreciated. The location itself is very nice and the little seating area right as you go in is a cozy little area that allows for some great people watching. Welcome to the area, Gingerman. I’ll be seeing you!

I can walk here? Located in the old Angelo’s I wanted the lunch buffet the minute I walked in. But missing Angelo’s aside, this is a fantastic place. It was hopping on a Wednesday evening, at least the upstairs patio was. Great beer selection and great bartender. I really like this place, and since I can stumble safely home – it’s going in the rotation.

Such a great new location. I’ve been a few times now and can say this may be my new hang out! The last time we went was for just a drink for Fathers Day. Yeah we’re like that. Our waitress Hooch was amazing. She seems to truly enjoy what she does. This location has a cool downstairs with lots of little nooks to sit in. The upstairs has a great patio and again lots of tables to hang out with your friends. It’s mostly a beer bar so try something new when you go. They do have small ‘bites’ and a few flatbreads to share with your group. I wouldn’t necessarily go for a full meal. Mondays are also keep the pint night after 6pm. The location is great but parking can be confusing. Use the lots surrounding the shopping center for your best bet!

Welcome to Lakewood Ginger Man! Me and mine were ultimately pleased to see this beer joint throw out the shingle here on La Vista. We have been patiently waiting for the chance to do it up right, and realizing it was open over the Memorial Day weekend we decided it was the perfect time! This place is gonna be greatness, no surprise to anyone who has enjoyed the other location. The inside is nice and dark, there’s an upstairs patio and a small downstairs patio area. The music sounds great and the staff is awesome! The one thing I wasn’t thrilled about was the dartboards and the staircase being in such close proximity. However, 4 or 5 strong beers into the game and I didn’t care any more. The beer selection is great, and there’s snacks to be had if you gots the munchies. Great times, great beer and great people, what took you so long Ginger Man?!?

What an amazing evening to open this long awaited venue. Smiling faces and laughter fill the air as the jukebox plays. Welcome to Lakewood, Gingerman! Beer is flowing, drinks are strong. The crowd is… EASTDALLASHOT!

Gingerman has finally come to the Lakewood part of Dallas. It will be a good addition to the neighborhood. Upon entering the door you will notice a small patio/lounge area to the right. Currently they only have one table there. Of course the beer selection is extensive. There are plenty of the local brewery choices, along with various choices from around the country. Downstairs is wide open with lots of tables and plenty of bar space. There are two dart boards at the bottom of the stairs in the corner. On a day or evening when the weather is nice, you will want to venture to the upstairs patio. The upstairs patio over looks the street below. Upstairs has a nice indoor area too, which is exactly where I sat. It gives you that relaxed and chilled vibe as the traffic passes by. They also offer a small menu of bite size snacks and tasty appetizers. Just incase you get the munchies. The only problem with this location will be parking. The afternoon and early evening hour parking situation will be a royal pain. Not really their fault, but keep that in mind if you are in a position to walk here.
