Bryan and his crew installed handscraped hardwood floors in our new house and they look incredible! They were very knowledgeable and the floors turned out great. This is the second time they have done work for us and I wouldn’t hesitate to hire them again.

Attention Unilocal, contrary to what«the floor man» might claim, I am not an employee of «the floor man», never have been and never would be. I hired them to do a flooring job at my house during a ground up renovation. Now on to the review. Stay Away! Jesse sent his crew of day laborers out(I’ve no issue with illegals but it would have been nice if they had at least spoken a word of English). Long story short, I hired Jesse to install hardwood and travertine in my house during a renovation and while he was the nicest guy you would ever meet, the second he got my money he was gone like the wind. This review is actually from 2010 and after I left a one star review on Unilocal back in the day, he lied to Unilocal and claimed I was an employee so the review got removed. I added another review and he lied again to get it removed. Even 6 years later I’m still pissed about the way he abandoned us and his workers seemed to really dislike him so badly that all they did was talk about how little money they were getting for all the work they were doing. My wife speaks Spanish so she was able to understand them. We asked where they came from and they were day laborers. so he hired the cheapest, illegal labor he could so he could cheat on taxes and exploit people. I get the whole helping immigrants out and am all for that but this was pimp’n 101. My wife asked if they would share what they were getting paid for the labor and it was such a minuscule % of our labor cost, we ended up tipping the guys and buying them lunch so at least they would make something. Floors are OK but it’s a roll of the dice with someone who grabs«whoever he can find» to do jobs for him. We liked the workers but would not recommend using«the Floor man» unless you want zero supervision and to watch someone pimp out dirt poor workers. If he tries to get this review removed I’ll be inspired to make a complaint to the BBB and forge ahead with even more reviews elsewhere(Google, blogs, etc.)

I was leery after reading the reviews of the Floor Man; however, after meeting with Brian, the salesman, he definitely knew what he was talking about. Brian knew his stuff. Even then, when you’re allowing someone into your home to make an improvement such as hardwood floors, it’s scary. Brian continued to reassure us, but it wasn’t until the job was finished, completely finished, that I was at ease and so happy with the way the floors turned out. I have included pictures of our floors. It was a little over 1000 ft.² including our living room, family room, dining room, kitchen, breakfast nook, and bathroom. Was every single thing perfect? Not at all. There were little tiny issues here and there, but overall the floors are gorgeous. One of the issues, was me. I’m picky. I know that I’m picky, and I told them that I’m picky from the beginning. They worked with that. I appreciate the time that they took to be sure that I was happy with the end result. We have solid hardwood floors. The kind that are three quarters of an inch thick. It it was a pretty big job, demolishing the previous tile and installing the new floors, plus re-sanding and staining the existing floors. Everything matched beautifully throughout the entire downstairs. I couldn’t be more happy!

Used these guys for my house to get carpet out and hardwood in. The guys were very knowledgable and friendly and really knew about flooring. We where able to pick a good flooring type at a great price. After installed it looked amazing! Even with me being picky, I didn’t see any seems or any flooring out of place. I highly recommend these guys for all of your flooring needs.
