Awesome breakfast tacos. They chop the bacon, which is a must for good breakfast taco quality. Really enjoyed it both times I’ve been.

Best little street taco shop this side of the border. Every time I come I get a consistently good meal. Typically getting street tacos but love the enchilada plates as well.

I love their potato and cheese breakfast taco! The potatoes are made fresh and are delicious! It’s a cute place — both inside and out. Try the shaved ice, too. Lunch is a perfect size for $ 5 and very good. I highly recommend Tejas Taco.

This is a place that I wanted to try because I love Mexican food and it is right across the street from work. Very cute on the outside. Get in and I ask about the quesadillas and how big they are. The girl says just regular. Well considering that every place is different when it comes to «regular» I tried motioning with my hands how big or small and she says again, just regular. Well whatever… I order a beef fajitas quesadillas combo. It was so not what I was expecting. It was a tiny little quesadillas with barely any meat in it. I’m like really!!! I was not impressed and the retired beans tasted like cinnamon. Not something that I love in my beans. I will not be going back. Not sure why all the reviews are so great. Then again, this is not really Mexican food, so that could be enough said.

Again today a fresh taco lunch with fresh ingredients and tasty spices. I always like driving through for a quick good lunch from another small business.

The worst baracoa I have ever tasted. It had the consistency and flavor of pot roast. «Seasoned with Secret Spices?» Lies. It doesn’t even taste like good pot roast, and it’s dry and stringy.

Places that aren’t much to look at from the outside are usually either awful or fantastic. This place is fantastic. Got two tacos with rice, beans, and a potato for $ 5 and it was delicious. If I ever make it back to Dallas, I’ll definitely be eating here again!

I’ve driven passed this place a few times and had been meaning to check it out, so this morning when I was craving greasy street tacos I decided to forego my usual taquerias and try something new. First of all the place is squeaky clean — unexpected for a taco joint. The employee and owner were both very hospitable and friendy, and it’s obvious that she really puts her heart into this place, which I love to see. I ordered two chorizo breakfast tacos, a barbacoa and two carnitas. Oddly enough, what I found most disappointing was the overall LACK of grease in the three non breakfast tacos. They were the least greasy street tacos I’ve ever had. While they were still decent, it didn’t give me my greasy gut food fix. If you don’t like your tacos greasy the street tacos here are for you. The breakfast tacos were another story though. The combo of chorizo, cheese and egg really hit the spot. When I return I’m coming for more B tacos. The only other comment I have Is that the prices are a bit high for street tacos. $ 2/piece is steep and I had sticker shock when my total was over $ 10.

Despite the signage, I am still always confused about if this place is open. As of last weekend for breakfast, it was! I got two of the bacon and one of the chorizo breakfast tacos. The chorizo was obviously greasy, but that’s par for the course. Both had cheese which was your generic shredded blend. I think if this is where you decided to pick up food, you would be satisfied with your decision. This is a classic 3.5 taco spot. Try it!

Ordered 2 breakfast tacos. One with potatoe egg and cheese and the other chorizo. The chorizo was delicious and greasy as to be expected, of course. It is chorizo after all. The potatoe one was very simple but delicious. The salsa was good and everything tasted fresh. the tortillas were sturdy but soft. Just the way they should be. And the service fast. Will try the lunch tacos next. Only reason its not 5 stars is because although they are excellent tacos im not sure if they are exactly the best tacos ive had. The building is small but cute. Not much seating. There is a drive thru though so its good for when you’re in a hurry. Not much parking but you can park at the gas station.

ate here this morning & it was pretty darn good! Everything was really fresh! The only thing I’d change is for them to have homemade tortillas

We had breakfast and barbacoa tacos. The breakfast tacos tasted very fresh. The eggs were delicious. They were a little lite on the cheese and bacon, but I thought it was a good balance. My mate wanted more. I thought the barbacoa was dry, but my mate thought it was good. The tacos overall were very fresh and not greasy ATALL. It was almost like they didn’t use grease. That was a nice change from all the greasy tacos around the metroplex. The manager(owner?) was oblivious to how loud she was. She was barking remarks at her employees and even had one woman in tears, but I don’t think she noticed. She even tried to boss us around about where to sit and was abrupt with another customer who didn’t understand a question she asked. There was also a long wait for our tacos, which seemed to be caused by the manager coming down on an employee for not speaking up about something. It was ironic to watch. Who would want to speak up to someone who was so unpleasant? She didn’t seem like a true Texan. I would have given 3 stars based on that alone if the tacos weren’t so good. Again, ironically being made by the employee who was being harassed by the overbearing female manager. Who I think was the owner.

I love this place! The owner is so sweet and was working as the cashier. The tacos are great, cheap, and good sized! I wish the salsas were better, but it was not bad enough to keep me from giving them 5 stars.

After 3 years of San Antonio’s high quality b-fast tacos I had to find something in Dallas. This is close, but not quite close enough to what I consider great breakfast tacos. they’re somewhat small for the price you pay… again, I’ve gotta reiterate that I’m used to paying .89 for bean and cheese…$ 2 is a little steep for b&c. I’ll be back, though.

Got an order to go across the street to eat(tiny inside) the chips were stale on our nachos and the rest of the food was bland. The potatoes are good but who can’t cook a potatoes and put a little salt on it? The quesadillas were small and plain and the chicken was dry and flavorless. Even the tortilla was hard on the edges. I hated it honestly but I didn’t get sick so they get the second star. They don’t even offer real queso there so their nachos are made with their shredded cheese that melts and then dries horribly. The cheese is only on the top and you’ll have chips with nothing. They could easily make queso or buy cheap stuff and improve the quality ten fold. Now… Onto their«shaved ice»… It was more like crunchy chunks of ice. Either they need to slow down when shaving the ice, or inspect the blade. I was struggling breaking through with my spoon. They also gave me a larger size than I ordered and it was overflowing in my car. Maybe offering a «flat top» would help for the to go orders. They shouldn’t ask for Unilocal reviews like they do on the counter…

You can’t beat this place for value and quality. The breakfast tacos are the best, then the lunch tacos are even better! The potato thing is very unique and very good… who would of thought, a potato with Mexican food. But it works well! Service is great, the place is spotlessly clean. Not your typical Mexican taco stand, it’s way better!

I went here to get a gordita, because another reviewer mentioned them but they didn’t have them. Maybe it’s a special on the weekends or something. I also went here because there is a drive through, which is pretty awesome. I ended up with two tacos — chicken and the Texican(basically a picadillo). They were okay, the chicken was a little dry, the Texican was the better of the two. Both of them had kind of plain flavors. The red salsa is better than the green. On the side came a large boiled new potato. I thought it was kind of weird, but it was yummy! It had salt on the outside and was perfectly tender.

Friendly and fast service at a drive thru! Woot. I ordered the bacon, egg and cheese breakfast taco and an orange juice. Not bad for $ 4 and some change. It wasn’t a mind blowing breakfast taco or that big, but perfect for me and the hotsauce wasn’t bad either. Not too hot. This is a convient place on the way to work so I hope to go again soon. I want a damn snow cone too!

After a few failed attempts at a taco score here, they close early, and I’m usually in a rush when I pass by, the planets aligned and I was able to order 2 egg and carnitas tacos on corn tortilla at this clean little shack with a drive thru, a clean organized kitchen, an engaged and personal owner at the counter and a sensibly fast cook. Another well executed taco source in Dallas.
