Ted Dickey West Funeral Home

We have done business with Ted Dickey West (unfortunately) 2x in the past 2 years. 1^st — 2 years ago for our mother service and 2^nd — just recently (April 6 – 7) for my husband services.
I chose them again because they did such a good job with my mom and they did everything that I expected and then some… I was not aware of so many things involved that I obviously did not pay close enough attention to my moms service (my brother and sister made most arrangements) that Ted and everyone handled professionally while keeping mind of mine and my sons profound loss!
I would highly recommend their services should you need them, obviously wish I had not needed them, but I felt that they listened to what my husbands final wishes were and did a wonderful job! They even prepared him for viewing based on pictures they saw, I did not even tell them about all that!
In addition to the viewing and service, they allowed me to bring my sons to say a private goodbye to their father the evening before which I really appreciated!
Only complaint I can think of is that of the previous poster that some people who were coming to viewing and services there got a little turned around.

I was trying to go to a service at the funeral home and my phone would not load the map. I called and no one local answered the phone and the directions made no sense. I followed the directions and never found the place and missed the service. When a person requests a local person to call you back and you get «there is no one here after 6», who needs this? I wish I could have attended the service, but The place was not found on google maps and no one could tell me how to get there. This needs to be fixed ASAP. For what people are paying for funerals, there should be someone LOCAL to give directions to people who want to attend the service.
