The Big«D» breakfast burrito… now made with sliced hot dogs and french fries. I’m not even kidding. Also, there was no bacon. Again, HOTDOGS… french fries. Not exactly the bacon and potato I was expecting. My mind is blown and so is my $ 5.

Fuel City is good but it is a hike from East Dallas, if you just want to grab some tacos and head home. This is my new go-to! The carnitas and the pastor tacos were both excellent. The only complaint? Dried up limes were all show and no juice.

I was happy to find a Tacos y Mas in my neighborhood, especially with better prices than the Ross location. Sadly, in this case you get what you pay for. On a previous visit the red salsa was rancid. Today I had the Cubana sandwich. I recognize that this is Cuban and not Mexican fare, but this was awful: a shaved thin slice of ham, with lengthwise-sliced cheap hot-dogs mashed in, lumps of chicken thrown in randomly on one side of the sandwich, avocado slices, mayo, and no mustard or peppers. If you’re going to serve an item, do it right. Don’t try to pass off the Zappa Burnt Weenie Sandwich as a Cuban. I would have given them one star but the guy who served me this abomination was very pleasant.

Although nothing can ever replace the fresh caught fish fried nearly instantly off the coast of Ensenada, Baja California these grilled fish tacos are very tasty indeed. The fish itself came out late flaky very tasty with a very healthy portion. Although there wasn’t as much zip in terms of sauce and tang they did provide fresh limes to add necessary seasoning. The food is made with decent care and attention and the salsa is very fresh. The steak burrito was very flavorful but didn’t include any guacamole nor sliced avocado which I find slightly disappointing. They do loaded up with plenty of food to make an entire meal. While I was sitting at the restaurant there was a consistent flow of customers, So that their food turnover appears to be very good allowing for fresh ingredients. In watching the preparation through the window I saw no cans in use in the preparation of any of my meal. This appears to be a good place at a reasonable price under $ 10 for a fish taco, steak burrito and can of Diet Coke.

I moved into the neighborhood around this place a couple of years back, but have been reluctant to trying it out. Today was the DAY! Now listen here… I love me some tacos. MEXICANSTREETTACOS. Not that crap you get at Taco Bell. I ordered a Beef Fajita, a Babacoa, and a Carnitas street taco. Came to about $ 6. I would order the Barbacoa again, but the gem was the Carnitas. I could have had a whole plate of that stuff. The fajita, meh. These are great tacos, comes with some onion and cilantro on them. That’s it. No Mas. So maybe order 4 instead of 3 and stay away from the salsa… too damn salty. I would go back… but it’s not like I am going to be craving these tacos.

This was my third trip to this Tacos Y Mas location, and I will not be back. This afternoon I wanted to order from the«special» taco menu — the ones that come with grilled veggies and additional sauces. The man in the window was incredibly rude, and did not listen to my order, instead he forced me to order from the written menu taped to the window(the simple street tacos) which I have had before. I wanted something different tonight. Not sure if he was feigning not understand me, or if he just didn’t want to take my order. I ended up with four tiny and greasy street tacos, exactly what I didn’t want. The shrimp smelled like dirt, so that one went to the trash. The barbacoa was the best of the four. I also wanted a side of queso — you know, the usual queso that comes with the chips, salsa, and queso deal — but he looked confused and asked«shredded or liquid?» The queso they serve at this location seems to be made from cheese powder and chicken stock, and is as congealed as jello. Pretty gross — and nothing like the delicious queso I had a the Greenville Ave location.

A fish taco on a corn tortilla and a large Horchata. So simple, but yet so good. They are Tacos Y Mas are usually small places, but they can serve up a mean meal. Seating is not the highest priority(outside seating. and just as tonight it always seems to be cold when I visit here, so I will be eating in my truck. So I give it 3 stars because of seating and usually the a few unfortunate people who will ask for money. Though tonight is a black cat who is cold and crying. But it’s lucky tonight because I bought it a fish taco too.

Rice has green beans & peas in it and the pastor is NOT spicy. My boyfriend LOVED the mahimahi tacos & what I tried was way better than mine. All & all it was just fine but I like my pastor hot!

Best breakfast tacos in Dallas? Really? I haven’t had many breakfast tacos in Dallas but I have had my fair share elsewhere. If this is the best Dallas has to offer then I dont want to try any others. Tacos were small and lacking in flavor. I wish I had gone just down the street to Taco Cabana.

This place is kinda hit or miss. So don’t give up on it if you go and dont like something. I’ve tried their tacos and depending on what the filling is it ill be delish or :(It’s a little hole in the wall not in the best part of town right off the freeway and its open late. I like that their stuff is authentic mexican food. They are really inexpensive and i may suggest that the TORTAS are always great

I finally used my LivingSocial coupon and it was a big disappointment. I ordered #1 and the beef in the flour tortillas was very dry. The guacamole was too spicey for my tender mouth. The best part of my meal was the pink lemonade. Not impressed. I went to the Forest Lane location.

OMG! D Magazine was right! These are the best breakfast tacos I have ever had. I was driving pass the taco stand and saw a line of people outside at 8AM on a Friday morning. I decided to stop and I am so glad that I did. I got two chorizo and egg breakfast tacos and they were sooo good. It came with cheese, pico and salsa verde, which was really spicy and just how I like it. I will definitely be back for more breakfast tacos, which were only $ 1.39 per taco.

Good, real mexican tacos. I have only had their breakfast tacos, which are amazing! If you can’t handle spicy food be careful with the sauce. I love the chorizo tacos. Full of season and pico and awesomeness in your mouth! You can get a box for $ 14 with 12 tacos. It does take a while so don’t be in a hurry any where if you come here. The location at Forrest is a lot better and has more options!

Price: Not great, Tacos: Suck If you’re really hungry and buzzed up… dont even stop here like I did on NewYrs. They seem to really chop up their meat to make you believe its fresh but real taco lover’s will know better. The tortillas or meat(I chose fajita cause you should never be able to go wrong with fajita tacos from anywhere-right?) Wrong. No flavor with tortillas or meat. i tried to save my hunger by squeezing lemon onto my tacos but to no succes. i shouldve just gone to jack in the Box. Take it from me as I use to live in the neighborhood & decided to give them the benefit of the doubt after 3 years but dont waste your time— especially if like your tacos hispanic or mexican owned, and this place is neither!

I must say that my dear mistress to Fuel City has been lacking in her ability to please me, and now we must part ways. Our fallout started by my own ignorance of the Spanish language, I wanted to experience what I thought would be shrimp tacos after a late night of drinking so I proceeded to order 4 chicharrón tacos. Well of course to my surprise I was greeted with four little tacos filled with what appeared to be boiled pork rinds. Somehow I confused chicharrón for camarón. So I took an L for that visit. But over the next couple of visits it seems that I was more and more unable to distinguish the flavors between their beef and al pastor tacos. The al pastor is my favorite and should be spicy in my opinion, and ummm you know made with pork not beef. While standing at the window I’ve noticed huge pots of boiling meats, which is not normally a good sign. Boiling loses flavor people! With this said, I can no longer lower my expectations and must rekindle the flame with Fuel City tacos and the elotes in the cup is the icing on the cake.

I was headed to McDonald’s… If you ever see my car at Jack in the Box at 3am, rest assured I’m extremely intoxicated. If you see my car at Mickey’s at 3pm, rest assured I’m extremely hungover. So, I was sitting at the light at E. Grand and Samuell when I thought to myself«how many bad choices can you make in a 24 hour period Mr. Dougie-poo?» I noticed that El Taco Loco was opened and busted a u. I couldn’t find a spot so I cruised on down and saw Tacos y Mas. I park in front of Family Dollar and walk on over. I ordered my pollo, barbacoa and pastor, planning to go back to the crib, sip on my hair of the dog and munch my tacos, when a couple of characters rolled up. Since the outdoor sitting area is better than the one on Ross I decided to enjoy my tacos right there on this bleak, misty, Sunday afternoon. The hair of the dog that bit me on the ass can literally chill till I get back. I sat there and watched a young Mexican girl in a trucker hat convo, with who was probably her grandmother, and two dudes take turns punching each other in the stomach. I guess what I’m saying is they have decent tacos and free entertainment… every time. Oh, and that hairy freakin dog told me to write this review… sorry.

Just came back from lunch, and figured I’d write my review now rather than later because these tacos weren’t the memorable kind. They weren’t bad either but I expected better. Definitely good tacos after a night out at the club, when your tastebuds are shot from so much alcohol.
