Even after trying several different tacos this is the place to go they have the best tacos, quesadillas, and desserts although most of the desserts are bought. The freshness of the meat doesn’t compare to anywhere ales.

These are probably the worst tacos I’ve ever had the displeasure of trying to eat. These must be either fake reviews or they had a bad day today.

Awesome food located in a shady gas station. That’s a good way to sum this place up. I was surprised by how small their sign is. It hangs on the wall and is easily missed from the street. Inside, it’s definitely a gas station. The three booths that count as the«dining area» sit right next to stacks of 24 pack sodas. On the other side of the aisles, there’s slot machines! There were several people loitering around the building, asking for change. There were several homeless guys drinking on the curb of the place. All of this is a little discouraging. but damn do they serve good food. I ordered pastor, lengua, campechanco, res, and chorizo. The pastor is divine. The lengua was legit, even though it was actually a little lean and not fatty. The chorizo of course was the greasiest taco, but wasnt overwhelming. The campechanco was the biggest surprise. It had a salty brisket taste that was a real delight. The corn tortillas were soft but sturdy. They weren’t oily, but still had an oily taste that I love. The cebolla and cilantro station could have been refreshened, but it was a slow night. Im not sure what people are saying about the servers not knowing English. the lady at the counter fluently spoke and understood what I said. I will definitely come back, although I probably wouldn’t take a date here lol.

Food is fantastic! Knowing some Spanish would be useful as they don’t seem to speak much English.

My husband and I just couldn’t agree on what was the best thing here, the food was so good. I got bistec tacos and pollo quesadilla. The bistec tacos were exactly what you want, good flavor and a ton of meat. They put the condiments on the side. The pollo quesadillas we got without onions, I have never seen a quesadilla with so much meat they also add ham or something that adds flavor and keeps it moist. Flavor was great on the chicken as well. Nothing was bland as it was but their sauces were great and a had good kick, I really liked the verde which often tends to be mild but it had good spice here. Also, great tortillas that tasted fresh and didn’t fall apart. Service was also great, it obviously caters more to Spanish speaking crowd but ordering was fine and they spoke plenty of English is you needed to. The food came out quickly and they even gave me a bean tostado while I waited which was delicious as well. This will definitely be our new to go Mexican restaurant.

Inside the Stop and Go. Really a to go place. There’s only a couple of tables, all were occupied when I was there. Not really a place you’d want to hang out in anyway. Tacos made up for it. I got 2 Res, 1 Pescado, and 1 Chorizo. All were great. Should had gotten two pescados.

These street tacos are definitely worth checking out. I have 2 chicken and 2 barbacoa and it only cost $ 4.24! Make sure to try the rest sauce, it’s very spicy, but adds so much flavor.

I expected very good fajita tacos and found them here. Good value at $ 1.50 and quick, friendly service. Also tried Campechanos and they were very tasty as well. Get some real tacos here.

First of all, the food is great. I strictly come here for the fajita tacos(duh!). The tacos aren’t too greasy, which is something that determines my choice of favorite taco locations. These tacos are the perfect size and are only $ 1.50 each. Doesn’t get any better than that. I usually order 3 – 4 tacos if I’m really hungry. Each order comes with a slice of roasted potato, cilantro, onion and red or green salsa(unless otherwise stated). Location? Tacos Chaco is located inside a gas station. No worries, they have tables inside or you can always take your food to-go. Area may seem sketchy, but I promise it’s safe. The reason I gave this place 5 stars is because the customer service blew me away. I ordered my tacos and 5 minutes later, they were ready! Wow, I am impressed by their speedy service to satisfy my taco cravings! Highly recommend Tacos Chacos — authentic, fast and YUMMY. If you’re lucky, you will find the elote stand in front of the gas station — make sure you bring cash!

So I didn’t find this taco joint online but rather by the old fashion way… I originally came to this area for elote. Rico’s elote stand is in front of this place. You won’t see a huge sign saying Taco Chaco because it’s inside a convenience store. They mostly sell sandwiches, burgers, and tacos. These aren’t American but Mexican style food. The tacos are small street tacos and the fillings are fish, al pastor, barbacoa, fajita beef and fajita chicken. I ordered two tacos — al pastor and fish. The al pastor was good! The fish on the other hand, wasn’t. The tacos come with a slice of roasted potato and onion/cilantro mix. Compared to other tacos theirs wasn’t so greasy and you can get full on two. Don’t let Elo scare you because this area isn’t as dangerous as other parts of Dallas. I didn’t come here at night but I’ve been in this area at night. So if you’re in the to try Mexican street food come here. You can kill two birds with one stone.

Aw man I didn’t take a picture. Next time. These are the best hands down street tacos anywhere of everywhere. With that said let me be clear, this place is located inside a gas station and the area is pretty shady so don’t go alone if you go at night risking your safety is worth it here. I have had chorizo, fajita, al pastor(pineapple marinated pork), and tripas(intestines) all were really good. They give you a red and a green salsa, the red one is hot! If you want extra heat you can ask for chile’s toreados, now your mouth will be on fire! Had me running with my mouth open. It was awesome. They also give you the toppings, onion ansd cilantro and a side of grilled onions and potato, so worth it.
