Incredible sandwich and custard. That is all. It’s good.

Meh. Limited menu. Chicken was flavorless. Kids area dirty and unsecured. Kids hated the custard. We won’t be back.

I had no idea it went down like this. I feel like I cheated on CFA coming here but it was delicious and I have no regrets… lol. The simple was flavorful, delicious and huge. The Rosemary pepper fries are now in my top 3 best fries. Everything was made to order so the wait was a little longer than normal fast food joints, but it was worth the wait! My only knock is the lemonade was a bit too sweet for my liking, but I added a little water and drank it all! I need to try the custard, which won’t be an issue because I’ll for sure be back to eat more delicious chicken and fries!

If you have a grandmother like mine, you can remember the aromatic smell of a homemade-from-scratch-make-you-want-to-slap-yo-mama-and-grandmama-at-the-same-time peach cobbler! Since grams hasn’t made one in a while, I decided to satisfy my fix here at SUPERCHIX today; for it is currently their flavor of the month. THISREVIEWISONTHECUSTARDONLY! I was surprised that the custard tasked like custard! Rich, creamy, everything you would expect. The concrete consisted of peaches and pie crust/cookie pieces, which you were able to savor in every bite. The custard was vanilla, a little boring I believe, so the only thing I would change would be either having a cinnamon custard or adding a little allspice for that extra«POW»! Restaurant was clean. Service, A1! I was greeted upon walking inside. Thank you Super Chix for making my Friday THAT much better!

Not bad, the menu is pretty simple and everything looks really good. Shared the chicken tenders with my daughter and I am sure they’d have been better if we hadn’t brought them home. Letting them sit in the box with the steam and such made them a tad soggy, but they were flavorful and yummy. Much more substantial chicken tenders than CFA. My fiancé had a chicken sandwich and fries and said he prefers them to CFA too. They location is nice, it’s clean and everything is set up really well-unless you have a to-go order. It’s slightly awkward with no where to really wait if it’s at all busy. Their drink options are yummy too and next time I want to try the custard!

So of course like everyone I love Chickfila… but I also LOVEEE Super Chix! I have to admit, the feel of this place is a lot more fun than chickfila– could be the lack of a playground which means less screaming. It has a more updated feel to it and clearly a bit more unique. One thing I noticed is that you order everything a la cart. A few different sandwich options, strips come in 3, 4, or 5 quantities and the french fries you can choose to be tossed in a couple of options– salt, rosemary pepper or signature sweet. I went with sale and it was dellicious and super fresh! I loved their house sauce much more than the regular chickfila sauce– i really loved everything. The strips had the BEST breading on them I wish I ordered more! It is unfortunate it’s right next to a Chickfila because everyone compares them rather than imagining Super Chix to be it’s own thing but it really does stand apart from the other place. I HIGHLY reccomend! I will definitely be back!

I can attest to all the positive comments about their custard. The friendly lady up front offered me a sample of their«Flavor of the Day» which happened to be Cookies and Cream so I thought, why not? All I can say is… O.M.G. You can fill in the rest once you’ve tried one of these bad boys. As for the food, I’ve tried the chicken tenders, regular salt fries, and rosemary black pepper fries. Their fries hand-cut, crispy, and always served fresh and piping-hot. They also give you a generous portion for $ 2.25. The chicken tenders were well-flavored and juicy, however I’m not a huge fan of the breading(this is a personal thing — I just prefer them crispy). Overall, good experience and good food so I will return.

Exactly the fries that I wanted. Tenders with fries and honey mustard was perfectly grilled, even though I am not from this place and I always eat here, I am now a fan. the chicken strips was also good. although I dont recommend it having dip with the honey mustard, just the plain one would do. Super Chix is great!

I’ve been to this place twice. The first time we only had the custard. We came back today to try their food. I had the grilled chicken sandwich with avocado and bacon. Hubby had the deluxe while the kids had chicken strips. My sandwich was huge! The chicken patty was hanging off the side it was so big. The chicken was moist and full of flavor. Hubby said his deluxe was good but that my sandwich looked better. The strips were big and well seasoned. We also ordered a side of fried pickles and fries. The kids liked the fries. I thought the fried pickles were too thick and the batter didn’t stick on the pickles well at all. Didn’t care for it. Everything was fresh and hot. My favorite thing here is the vanilla custard. So damn good! Also tried the Dutch chocolate which I didn’t like. Very friendly service!

Delicious sandwiches! If you’re a fan of a sandwich with a kick, get the nashville hot chicken sandwich and prepare to be blown away. Soft buns, juicy chicken– my mouth was watering when my order came out. I also had an order of the fried pickles and was happy with the pickle to breading ratio. I didn’t get a chance to try the custard because I was filled to the brim from my meal. Service is fantastic, for the kind of restaurant it is. There are friendly faces everywhere, and everyone is willing to help.

I have had this restaurant bookmarked for awhile now and finally tried it today! This is a sit down establishment, no drive through. You order up front then get a buzzer for when your food is ready. I got the deluxe chicken sandwich and a side of fries. The portions are very generous, I honestly could’ve split my meal and been full. It came out fresh and hot, I had to let it cool off before eating. The sandwich was great, but I wish the pickles were shaved or thinner slices. Would’ve made it easier to eat. The fries were good, you get to choose from three seasoning options. A lot of people have compared them to chik-Fil-a but I think it’s more upscale, and like I said, big portions. Less than $ 9 for a huge sandwich and fries. I’ll definitely come back to try their custard:) + the customer service was awesome. Very friendly staff. :) please open a location closer to uptown!!!

Super Chix is the better mouse trap for Chick Fil A: — better sammies: thicker, juicier chicken, grilled buns, and home made pickles — better vibe: high character local Dallas feel, with hand made wood furniture, fun painted brick walls, polished concrete floors, and a one of a kind place, non-chain feel — beer: reasonably priced Texas beer, including pitchers if you’re thirsty — custard: tasty and rich, vanilla, chocolate, and flavor of this week(PB&J this week) I wish this place were in my neighborhood around lower Greenville, maybe someday…

First time here and I actually thought the chicken was better here than Chick-Fil-A. My son had the 3 chicken tenders. The chicken is big compared to Chik-Fil-A. I had the grilled chicken with Avocado and bacon. It was delicious. The bread was very good as well. The fries were good but average. The staff was very friendly. The chicken is not pre-cooked sitting under a heater. They give you a beeper to let you know when your food is ready. Hope they open up near me.

So many raving reviews but I just found this place OKAY. It was good and yes it was better than fast food, but it wasn’t amazing. It was average chicken tenders that you can get at other restaurants. We also ordered a large of the custard that everyone raves about, it was very very thick and I think a small would have been enough. It was very fresh tasting and you can really taste the milk in the custard but it was just so thick it was almost like eating frozen peanut butter… I like it and prob will come back but I have no been initiated into the cult.

Really happy I tried this place. A simple menu, but very well executed. I had a deluxe fried Chicken sandwich, which came with lettuce, pickles and tomatoes and an order of fries. Chicken was huge, perfectly cooked and very juicy. Fries were above average as well.

Chicken and Frozen Custard? Say no more. Look, I like Chick Fil-a too, but it is good to change things up sometimes. They have chicken sandwiches, salads, fried pickles, cole slaw, fries, etc. I ordered a 4 piece chicken tender with cole slaw. What I loved was that it was fast. Before I could get my drink, my buzzer went off signaling me that my good was ready. The chicken tenders were really good! They have unique sauces like cucumber dill for them. I opted for the honey mustard. They were big! 3 would have been plenty. The flavor was really good, and the breading was not excessive. The cole slaw was really fresh and tasty. I really like the interior too! They have tv’s all around, cute booths, and corn hole games outside.

I have been wanting to try this place for a long time especially because I’m so obsessed with Chickfila I would love a new chicken sandwich place. I went on a Saturday around 3pm and it was pretty dead. The workers were really friendly and they helped me decide what to get. I tried the regular chicken sandwich and fries. I also took custard to go for later. The sandwich was just okay to me. I liked the fries because you could choose a season to put on them. I also really liked the different sauces they have to offer. They are all homemade and not prepackaged. As for the custard I think it’s an acquired texture taste. It had good flavor but I prefer ice cream. Overall it was pretty good. I’m not going to drive out of my way to go but it I’m in the area I would try it again. It’s a nice change a pace from my regular places I go.

Overall(4.7 stars composite score): A veritable chik fil a killer. Intense eats and star service. Come for the food, stay for the custard. I thought that Super Chix is a locally owned fast food restaurant; however, it is actually owned by Yum! Brands, the company that also owns Taco Bell and Pizza Hut. Just kidding, I just found out that it is actually no longer owned by Yum! Brands. So yes, it is locally owned — woo hoo, even better! As a direct competitor of Chick-Fil-A, Super Chix also specializes in fried chicken sandwiches and tenders. And I bet you’re wondering if Chick-Fil-A or Super Chix is better, so I’m here to explain to you why I love both for different reasons. Why Choose Super Chix – 1. Better quality ingredients 2. Fries with Rosemary Black Pepper — Thin, crispy and hot. These fries have become my new favorite fries along with Hopdoddy’s Truffle Parmesan Fries! 3. Custard — They have standard flavors along with daily flavors. However, what makes their custard stand out is the texture — smooth, rich and creamy! 4. Beer — Super Chix has a pretty decent selection of craft beer, which go perfectly with fried food. Why Choose Chick-Fil-A – 1. Better chicken sandwich — I find the sandwiches at Chick-Fil-A to be more plumb and juicier. Also, Super Chix version of spicy fried chicken sandwich features a wet hot sauce rub. I prefer Chick-Fil-A’s version a lot more. In conclusion, the perfect meal would consist of … Spicy Fried Chicken Sandwich [Chick-Fil-A] + Side of Rosemary Black Pepper Fries [Super Chix] + Custard for dessert [Super Chix] And good news Chick-Fil-A sauce lovers, Super Chix also offers a sauce that tastes just like Chick-Fil-A sauce!

Hello, my new chicken sandwich addiction! This place has sinfully tasty fast food. Like how is this allowed? Perfectly juicy, tender chicken in the form of strips or a sandwich. Ordering is very simple. You can go chick fil a style with just pickles, or dress it up a bit. I’ve tried both the strips and sandwich, and although both are amazing, I prefer the sandwich. Because bread. Don’t let the prices scare you, it’s worth every penny. An order of fries is big enough for two to share, but if you’re like me, you might get two orders just to try the different flavors. My favorite is the plain salt. Also don’t hesitate to ask to try all 4 sauces so you can decide which is your favorite. I tend to use the sweet & smokey sauce most. Basically, what I’m saying is you can’t go wrong with any choice you make here. Actually, the only wrong choice you can make is not at least sampling the custard flavor of the day. It won’t disappoint.
