Tried to go last night and the doors were locked and didn’t see their walkway sign. Im assuming they’re closed but does anyone know different? From the food to the drinks to the atmosphere this was the best bar downtown.

this place had so much potential but because of the location and lack of signs it was almost impossible to find and it looks like its closed now and walked by it last week and they had a sign on their door :-/

I only had a short visit to Stone Street ordering one strong cocktail at a very non-busy off time. I know there are a thousand things not considered in this first visit such as how they handle a crowd, quality of food and so on but I was impressed with what I saw. This place is simply sophisticated, grownup cool. I love the mysterious barely marked entrance on the Stone Street walk that leads to the stairs or the elevator. I love the the look of the place and the bartenders were very welcoming and friendly. We sat at the bar but there were multiple areas with couches good for groups. The place was comfortable and classy but not snobby. I’ve never been much on Martinis so I ordered an old fashioned and it was just a little disappointing that they didn’t have rye. The bourbon version the bartender made was good and strong but for all of us copy cats that got into cocktails because Don Draper on Mad Men it is a bit disappointing not to be able to drink like Draper in a place where he probably would have felt right at home in. This place is retro without trying to be. The only statement to make is not a criticism but just something one needs to understand i that this place is pricey. It is supposed to be pricey. That is part of the deal but just know what you are getting into here. I liked the place and no matter what, it is really is a cool bar for grown people and that is likely not to change no matter what time you come or how crowded it is. I hope I get a chance to go back, eat and see how the staff holds up to a crowd. It might be a 5 star place yet.

In an era where mixologists focus on fresh, alternative versions of old-school cocktails, Stone Street is not afraid to pour sweet and kooky martinis that the Carrie Bradshaw crew might suck down in bunches. For instance, the«Pebbles» martini has Fruit Loops flavored Vodka and Fruity Pebbles. I’ll be damned if it doesn’t completely kick ass. You can still get a Moscow Mule, Sazerac or a Ron Burgundy(«Scotch, scotch, scocth! I love scotch!:) in a cool, relaxed atmosphere with very little pretense, but the draw is the«girly» martini. Try the the Halley Berry, Prickly Pear, or Downtown Princess. Listen to some lounge tunes and relax. Enjoy them for $ 8 during happy hour for bigger bang for your buck. So if you are downtown and need a quick drink to kick off your evening or if you are looking for a cool place to hang, this is a «sweet» place to get your drink on.

By far my favorite hangout in Downtown Dallas. Great food, even better staff and owner/chefs(Garrett, Mike, Jay, and RV) and service that is so friendly and efficient. The drinks are imaginative and varied: my favorite is the smoke and spice. Their Sunday brunch is delicious. And their dinner fare is so good. I love the sliders Beautiful décor. Love the old wood floors and big comfy leather sectionals for sitting and visiting with friends.

Music is vastly improved, to the point of grabbing my focus and getting my foot tapping. With the opening of the new pool room and study in the back, this place is the best space in Dallas to have a drink. The service has somehow improved beyond perfect, I felt like a guest in a friend’s home. Protip: come here for lunch, you won’t be disappointed. Surprisingly good food, and I can’t stress the high quality and attentive service enough.

I’ve never had a martini until I went to this place as I’m usually a beer guy. The two martini’s I had were really good and I would probably seek this place out to have martini’s again. I had the Lady Marmalade and another called the Love Potion(which isn’t on their menu.) Both were really good, the Love Potion was a little sweeter than I liked but it was for a good cause(proceeds went to the American Heart Association.) The staff was super friendly and I never had to wait long for a drink. The atmosphere is pretty nice as well. Will definitely be coming back.

I think I found a new watering hole after work. Located directly above Campisi’s in downtown, this place is fairly new so not that many people go to it yet(or maybe it’s just because I went on a Tuesday evening). It is really spacious with large couches. The space can easily accommodate large parties. The drinks will run you $ 9 – 12 but there are happy hour specials. They have a solid cocktail and martini list. Any place that serves sazeracs is good in my book. I will definitely have to write another review when I try out the food.

Enter from the alley where Campisi’s has its outside tables(between Sol Irlandes and Campisi’s), go up some stairs(or take an elevator), and enter Stone Street Martini Lounge. Drinks range from $ 9-$ 12 for the fancy stuff, and they also have beer and wine. The bar staff are super friendly, and offered to make me another drink if I didn’t like the one I selected. Prickly pear, no simple syrup is delicious though so a redo wasn’t necessary. I was kind of surprised to not see more martinis on the menu given the name of the place. You can probably order regular martinis as you please though. I just didn’t try. We sampled a bunch of different small plates. Though they have sandwiches for lunch, the evening menu is more an assortment of appetizers. We had the tomato basil salad, the tuna, the fried oyster, the slider, and the trio, which is a plate with some super delicious bread, some olive oil, some sundried tomatoes, and a huge pile of plugra butter(we looked it up, and plugra means extra delicious). The tuna, oyster, and butter of all things were the highlights for me. The dishes range in price from $ 4 to $ 12. If you’re not starving, and want a light dinner, this is definitely a great tapasy option in the downtown area. The water is infused with cucumber, so even that was extra fancy delicious. As for the seating options, they have a bunch of tall tables, and the bar of course, and then two large sectional couches at the back with a bunch of arm chairs. There aren’t any regular height tables, and I guess if you are in a wheelchair your only sensible table option is to wheel up to the coffee table near one of the couches since all the other tables are about chest height. The bar stools are comfortable however.

Love this gem! Delicious drinks and nice crowd. LUX nightclub is right down the street. PM Lounge and Cameo are right across from Stone Street. Levu nightclub is also in the area. Plenty of reasons to go out in downtown. Stone Street is a good starter place if you’re wanting a loud crazy night or it can be an all night place if you’re in the mood for something chill but still upscale.

This place is ok. I am not a martini drinker and they have a very limited beer selection. If martinis are your thing check them out. My friends said the martinis were delish.

A very fun vibrant hang out place for some drinks and appetizers when the night is young, the layout was spread out so I never felt confined in inside. I loved their raspberry cosmos, a great combo. The only setback is the location as I don’t hang in downtown very often. This is not the place that I would stay really late. Walking there from the parking lot even at 7pm was kind of intimidating. By 9pm, I’d hop to uptown or Addison.
