I LOVETHISPLACESOMUCH! First time was today and we had the cheddar bacon egg sandwiches and the sweet potato tots! I’m in love now. The place is soooo cute too! Menu has some awesome choices and super healthy options without being over the top.

I practically live in this drive thru. Sweet potatoes are awesome. Chicken empanada is great! Salads are very good– especially the Caesar and Cobb– and I LOVE the buttermilk dressing that comes with the Kitchen Cobb. I want to buy containers of just dressing. I love having an option nearby when I just can’t stand the idea of cooking. It’s not cheap fast food but it is quality fast food.

I’m a fan! I really like the chicken caesar wrap(add bacon) with a side of fruit. About 14 $, so it’s a bit pricier for lunch but I can’t complain because it’s a pretty decent surprise. Also — I LOVE their granola.(When you can get your hands on it). Minus one star for the crappy parking and long drive through wait times. Food is pretty good for a healthier fast food alternative. I also wish they had nutritional information and ingredient information available. But besides those things. everything else is awesome. Check this place out if you’re in the greenville area!

Wow! Totally impressed with the start burger and sweet potato tots. Went through drive today and wasn’t sure what to expect. I requested spinach instead of lettuce on my burger and was pleasantly surprised with the quality of service, fresh meat and burger fixings. My goodness the burger was juicy, great flavor sauce too. Can’t wait to try them again! Definitely highly recommended!

I like start because of the quality and service but it could be flavorless

Been here couple of times already yet ended with a Bang– always! Nothing fancy about Start but the cheap prices will keep me and my friends on coming back. 1. Silver Dollar Pancakes– With Vanilla Bean Maple Syrup, for a reasonable price you can start your day full and happy. 2. Greek Yogurt Parfait– never missed this one every morning– a must have for breakfast to keep you healthy and energetic, Yum! 3. Applewood Smoked Bacon– My fave, always fresh and serve in huge portions. 4. Egg White n’ Veggie Sandwich– in case you want food for take-out, you can never go wrong with this one. Tasty and Delectable! Servers are pleasant and attentive. Place is packed usually, but you can always have a table for you, ’cause it’s plenty.

So I always meant to try out Start since it opened but I would get close and then Rusty Taco is right next door and I mean… who can say no to tacos and queso? Not this girl. But a friend wanted to meet up here for lunch and so there I was. I got a turkey wrap and it was delicious and fresh, as promised. Iced tea was also good. Staff was friendly, didn’t mind that we lingered at our table forever. My only complaint is that the drive through gets way busy during lunch time(kudos to the staff member that was outside with an ipad, taking orders and speeding things along) and the long line of cars makes maneuvering in and out of a parking space difficult. I would return, but honestly I’d probably go to Rusty Taco next door, but that’s because I’m a taco-holic.

This place never disappoints for a healthy fast meal with a smile and politeness. The patio during the St. Patty’s day parade was incredible.

Healthy food on the go restaurant in Texas seems to be a rare find. Well you just have to do your research. I do love Start because there are so many healthy and tasty options that are great if your on the run! What won me over about this place is that it has a drive thru! This restaurant gives you the normal wait time of most drive thru restaurants. The price is a bit high but that is no surprise especially with healthier made food. I am a love of the«Best Quinoa Salad». It is definitely my go-dish! I recommend you trying Start!

Not bad… not really good. just sort of plain. Egg, bacon and cheese muffin wasn’t much different than Starbucks and not nearly as convenient. Tater tots were just tater tots. MEH.

The food is great but I think I’d love if they added the nutritional info on the menu. Somethings aren’t as healthy for those who are extreme health freaks but for the regular joe then yes.

Wonderful concept! I order the stuff sweet potato with Savory chicken(although technically it was a yam, not a sweet potato). It was absolutely delicious! For a drink, I had the fresh-squeeze juice and it was refreshingly different. Even the Coke machine has the more natural sodas. I wish you had one of these in the Allen area. Love it!

It reminds me of Lyfe Kitchen. The food is OK and the portions are fit for a kids meal. My 8 yr old ordered a regular sandwich and went back to order an actual kids meal(PB& banana sandwich) as dessert, he was still hungry.

Okay, I know yall are probably tired of me giving fast food restaurants 5 stars but I DONTCARE. Okay, I kinda do. Don’t hate me! Anyway… Start is amazing: I had eaten it for breakfast via drive thru before and today I went inside for lunch. It was immaculately clean, the staff were extremely friendly and gave me great suggestions, and the food — simply delicious. For breakfast I had ordered just a simple bacon and egg biscuit, which was divine… and today for lunch… i got the chicken bacon avocado wrap with a quinoa salad! Yum! Next time I’m definitely trying those sweet potato tots! Yum! Plenty of indoor seating, bike parking, drive through, and they dispose of trash responsibly ;) what more could you want for a «fast food» joint? I can’t wait to come back already and I haven’t even left!

I came here one afternoon with my mom in hopes of getting a filling healthy meal. Unfortunately I was let down. We ordered the turkey and chipotle wrap and the start burger. The burger was absolutely horrible! It was tiny and so dry. For $ 9.50 i expected a good burger or at least one that came with fries. The chicken chipotle wrap was ok. It could have used a little more chicken and I would have preferred a softer tortilla. I felt like an animal trying to bite and tear at the tortilla. It was a bit too tough for my liking. Overall I would recommend this place and I’ll definitely not go back. It’s just too expensive for food that isn’t even good.

Cute location with great décor. They also have a DRIVETHRU which could be convenient for those who live in the area. I went here with some of my friends because she lives less than one minute away. I live in Fort Worth so I definitely wouldn’t make the drive for this place. Not sure about whether or not I will actually return either. I wanted the silver dollar pancakes, which I think are the only pancakes they offer. But they are obviously small, size of a silver dollar(duh), and they give you 3 for $ 3. But since they were small, I passed. I ordered one of their weekend specials, which as a type of quiche. It was ~$ 6 and smaller than I thought. It doesn’t look the most appetizing(you can see in my picture. nor was it very appetizing in general) but it was the size of your palm. I had to eat it with Tabasco and my friend put salt on hers because it LACKEDFLAVOR. They use eco-friendly products, so it came in a cute recycled paper-y container. I did not order any juice because(from a fellow Unilocalers picture) the juice came in a very small container at a high price. My sister had the peanut butter banana sandwich. It came in english muffin form and she liked it. She mentioned it had a lot of honey. I love what they are trying to do, but they’ll need improvements. I say at least give this place a try!

Tastes like someone actually made the food out of real ingredients. You’ll pay a premium for that but it is worth it if you are looking for something other than mystery meat fast food. Tried the hummus with naan, turkey club sandwich, and a small carrot and pineapple juice. Bill was about $ 15 and the juice was the item fav for me. The food is more«okay» than«so good.» The drive thru service was fantastic — a friendly fellow with a warm smile made my day brighter. I’ll have to return to try other things.

I’ve only ordered the veggie-bean-quinoa burger here, but I must say, for the price, portion, and taste, I’m a fan! It’s surprisingly filling, and for only $ 7, I think it’s a great value! You get a lot of lettuce, avocado, and tomato too, so they don’t skimp on the toppings. The only downside is that the burger is kind of messy because the patty doesn’t hold together very well. Not gonna lie, I’m kind of a messy eater, but I don’t understand how even the most skilled-burger-eater would be able to hold together and eat the entire burger without it falling apart halfway. I usually give up halfway and just use a fork, but it tastes so good that I don’t mind it and pick up every bit that’s left. Their sweet potato tots are also pretty good and a perfect side to complete the meal. I thought mine were just a little over-seasoned but hey, they were tasty and nothing that a little shake before eating them couldn’t fix. Love that they have a drive-through too. Makes it really convenient, although if you use the drive through during peak hours the line can get a little crazy in the tiny parking lot.

Our maiden voyage here was not good, but it was better than a total bummer. We order a Start Burger(reported to be grain fed beef– $ 9.50) and a Veggie Burger($ 8). The Bad: — the«beef» on the Start Burger was ordered medium rare, but came gray in the middle. The texture was dry and mealy, as though it contained a good ratio of filler(perhaps the grain is «fed» to the ground beef after grinding). — The«veggie burger» had no structural integrity, and wound up crumbled, escaped from the bun, and on the wrapper below after the first couple of bites. — When you order a burger, the meat/patty is a crucial ingredient. This component failed miserably, on both of our sandwiches. The Good: — ambiance of the space is pleasant, light and open — service is friendly, except they did not ask us how our food was(totally understandable) — burger whole wheat buns were soft and pleasing — avocado and other burger toppings were generous and fresh — it was edible enough to finish(we were hungry) I can’t recommend this place to anyone, based on our experience. Hopefully, the salads and other stuff are much better than the burgers. Caveat Emptor.
