Hopefully this update is as good as I hope. Installer Don came out, EARLY, and hope it will work. Will find out tomorrow when Time Warner installs the cable. Found Don very competent and could communicate with customer. Stay Tuned!!!

I had a bad experience with Starpower over a $ 400 remote — an insignificant amount considering what I spent overall. And really, It was small change for them considering the big ticket items they have on the floor. I couldn’t get their staff to respond to me until I wrote a bad review. After that the service was so great if asked I would stand on the corner with one of those bad Statue of Liberty costumes on and sing praise to Starpower. It’s amazing the harm one really bad salesperson can do to a business. This is a beautiful showroom run by established business owners. I will buy from them again, but I do hope they will see the need to send service calls to the back and not to a salesperson. Sellers sell… customer service reps develop repeat business. :)

Please do not waste your money here. We spent over $ 5000 for TV& surround sound equipment. It NEVER worked right and we called repeatedly over a years time to have them come out and fix it. They came about 5 – 6 times and found nothing wrong. Finally called headquarters threatening to get a lawyer, so they sent a Manager. Manager determined the receiver was broken! After over a year of techs coming mind you. They replace the receiver, it still sounded like Crap. 2 years into it I called a company called Everlucent. The tech showed me where the subwoofer was not installed correctly and HADNEVERBEENWORKING. Unbelievable. We had all the junk speakers($ 900 worth) from Starpower replaced by Everlucent and now it sounds great. Stay away from Starpower, they dont know what they are doing and their product is JUNK.
