Went to this location inside of Tom Thumb during business hours (6:55pm, Starbucks stand closes at 8:00pm), and nobody was there. Requested help after waiting for 5 minutes… Waited another 5 after an announcement was made over the loud speaker, and gave up and left. Not a good experience.

Though Starbucks come in many flavors, they tend to fall into two categories: stand alone or tucked into a bookstore/​grocery store. This is of the latter breed, found near the checkout line of Tom Thumb on Forest. It’s small, a one woman show when I was there, but she’s friendly and efficient. A couple seasonal flavors were out when I was there, and it wasn’t the freshest Pike’s I’ve ever had, but I was still pleased. It seems like a perfectly good place to get your caffix if your phone says this is closest, especially if you need groceries as well.
