Spine Surgery Center at Baylor Univ Med Ctr Dallas

This is the WORST doctor we have ever been to. My son recently suffered a fractured skull and C1 spinal fracture. We were told to set up a 2-​week follow up appointment with Dr. Berchuck; so we did. The doctor walked into the room, told us about the fractures (which we already knew about), and said «wear the neck brace… see you in 3 more weeks». Not only did Dr. Berchuck not examine my son, he never touched my son AT ALL. How does he know if the fractures are healing properly? How does he know if the fractures are healing AT ALL? When a patient tells a doctor his pain is still at a 7, three weeks after initial diagnosis, you’d think he would examine the patient … have a conversation … and maybe a little compassion. Not Dr. Berchuck. Worst bedside manner ever. And a waste of my hard earned money. TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE doctor.
