I have never been to a dentist that explained so comprehensively what was going on with my teeth. Being that I am now over 50, I have started to see changes in my mouth that I thought nothing of. Dr. Smith showed me one-by-one each of my problems and what we can do to prevent further damage. I have hairline fissures in some of my teeth that are only visible with bright light. These have been caused by grinding my teeth in my sleep and left unattended could cause teeth to break over time. She also identified broken fillings with decay beneath, grinding patterns & bite problems. She spent well over an hour with me for my FREE smile consultation. I go back next week to determine the plan of action that we will need to start as I have numerous problems and will need them taken care of over time. Thank you Dr. Smith! Kelly R

I just want to start off by saying that I love Dr. Smith. She’s got a heart of gold and is a terrific person. She spends time and care on her patients and I always enjoyed seeing her. I can’t give her a 5, as I’ll explain below, but I give her a strong 4. So I thought so highly of Dr. Smith that I referred a few ppl — but those ppl didn’t turn out to have as great of an experience with her. The problem, I think, is she’s not very business oriented. Which is a good and a bad thing. The good — when I needed a mouth guard, she went over the cost with me and gave me other options. She really didn’t want to charge me for something I would have trouble affording. I appreciated that, and most doctors wouldn’t have done the same. The bad — You’d sometimes wait a bit to see her. Also, some of her support staff wasn’t great nor very passionate about dentistry, from the receptionists to the assistants — Connie’s mom and the one great, main assistant excluded–(Darryl/Jessie? can’t recall his name). He was top-notch though. Dr. Smith will draw you pictures of your teeth and show you how to floss properly. She’ll sit and explain concepts so that you really get it. She also made a veneer for one of my teeth, which looks amazingly natural. Also, as a side note, she goes to The Amazon every year and provides free dentistry to the village she visits. I just really think that that’s something special, and if that meshes well with your value system, then I think you’ll really like her as your dentist.
