I was quoted a different price over the phone then when I came into the office. I waited for about 15 – 20 minutes to be taken back. Once I was back, I learned that the actual price was 40% higher than I was quoted. They were firm on the differing price, so I spent about five minutes discussing with them that I didn’t think I had been treated fairly. They asked me to wait back up at the front, which I did, but they didn’t come back to get me. I left and still haven’t heard from them. I definitely would not recommend Serena Med Spa place based on my experience. That being said, the office was clean, and the receptionist was nice.

I discovered Serena medspa 4 years ago! I went in for photo facials. And loved my results. After that I tried a vibradermabrasion! Holy moly! Best exfoliation treatment I have encountered. I join the vibraderm club and I go there once a month! Every month my skin needs something different depending if I am dry, oily or combination. So Mary my Esthetician, recommends what treatment to go with my vibraderm and it’s included in the club. The staff is very friendly and knowledgable! Thank you Krista and Mary for always making me feel like a million bucks from the moment I walk in to the moment I leave.

If I could give this place a 0 star I would. I went to the Serena MedSpa for a Botox injection in my forehead. While I was there the injector talked me into using Xeomin instead of Botox. Within a few days after the injections the corners of my forehead arched up so there were deep wrinkles. I called the spa alarmed at the results and the woman injector told me to wait 2 weeks before coming to see her as the problem would probably be fixed. It got worse. I went to see them 2 weeks later and explained to them how this became an embarrassment in the workplace. A new woman injector was there and she laughed and said, «oh that’s nothing. The other technician just didn’t give you enough of a shot and forgot to put a shot in at the corners. That’s an easy fix!» I told them I appreciated they’d fix it but I’d also want my money back. The owner came in and gave me a long speech how there were no guarantees to the treatment and she wouldn’t give me a refund. I told her that wasn’t good enough considering how humiliating the experience was. I asked her if the bad PR would be worth it if I spoke out about it? She said they had a wonderful reputation and whatever I said didn’t matter. She went out of the room and brought a big muscular male bouncer that towered over me. She said, «since you are threatening my business with your opinions I will have to ask you to leave.» So here I was being muscled out of the place because I asked for a refund. I was shocked that the spa could have such little care for their screw ups that they would toss a customer to the streets if you disagreed with them. I’m not writing this in vengeance. I just don’t want any of you to go through this if you choose this spa. It’s not worth the risk of them screwing your face up. Do not go to this MedSpa. Go to an accredited Botox doctor or dermatologist. These people should not be in business with how they treat people when they mess up a face.

The last review is over a year old, so I thought they deserved an updated one. I’ve only had my first treatment(laser hair removal), but I felt compelled to write a review based on their service. I worked with Christy who is a really sweet girl. In fact, they’re all sweet girls who work there, they made me feel really relaxed and welcome. They all seem to be very experienced(I’m no laser professional), I suppose in 5 more treatments I’ll see how successful it is. Other than that, the place is nice and cozy. I’m really happy I chose these guys.

I’ve been a client of Serena Medspa for over 3 years, and my experience has always been a positive one. I’ve had Botox, Dysport, Fotofacial, Vibraderm, and chemical peels performed so far. I first decided to try Serena’s services while they were offering a special on Botox. I’ve returned again and again not just because of their competitive pricing and the great results I’ve had; ultimately it’s been the great service and that Karim Halani, the owner and operator, has consistently provided me that keeps me loyal. I’m a professional model, so I can’t afford to take chances with my appearance. It’s obvious to me that customer satisfaction is the priority at Serena, because Karim and each member of his staff has made me feel special and look wonderful. They have my full trust!

I thought I did my research but boy was I wrong! Karim comes off initially as a very nice guy but don’t be fooled by this faux exterior. He will promise the best services, take your money, give you the worst product and in my case scar your face! I bought the laser hair removal for anywhere you can think of and radiesse injections into my cheeks. I have a very high threshold when it comes to pain but on one occasion my privates were burnt so severely that it hurt for 8 days STRAIGHT! When the nurse finished the treatment she looked down there with horror in her eyes. I had blisters and could not walk without getting teary-eyed! Mind you this was not my first or even third treatment of laser hair removal. I was not sensitive to the laser but the nurse was inexperienced and had the laser setting on too high. The radiesse they put into my cheeks has created HARDLUMPS(even 4 months later and it is still there). The nurse that injected me was supposedly the best nurse and she stuck the needle 6 times into my right cheeks and said ‘oops’ every time! Apparently, the needle was broken and she kept sticking me with no filler going in. Mind you it hurts every time they stick you. To this day my cheeks really hurt– sometimes more than others. It actually hurts right now. I wish I could just get it out of my face. I was told to go to plastic surgeon by another spa to correct this– if even possible– since the damage was too extensive for them to do anything. I got a call one day from Serena Medspa saying that my laser treatments had finished even though I still had 6 more treatments left. I had paid upfront and they ripped me off. After being told I no longer was entitled to what I had PAID I went to a lawyer. He looked at the contract I signed and in very tricky legal words somewhere in there it says that they have the right to take your money and not give you ANY treatments! What a scam. The staff changes constantly. While giving you treatments they complain about Karim’s real personality. The current receptionist(well, she might have quit by now– they all do after a month) is VERY rude. I have never been spoke to ever like that. I will NEVER spend a dime at that spa again. I believe in karma and for the way I got scammed out of my money(I spent close to 5 thousand dollars at that spa), and the lumps in my cheeks that constantly ache, and the burns on my private area… well, I hope Karim gets his karma. TAKEYOURMONEY, HEALTH and business ANDRUN!
