I never thought I’d be one of those people on a Segway but I did it and I don’t regret it one bit! Segways are fun and easy to ride. The tour guide gives you a quick tutorial and then allows you to get on the Segway to get comfortable before taking you on the tour. It is easy to learn but you just have to center your gravity. I had a little bit of trouble for the first 2 minutes but then after that, you get the hang of it and it’s easy peasy.
When you travel on the Segway, you go in a single file line, following the tour guide. He’ll stop at certain destinations for photo ops & tell you all about Dallas.
We got to see the JFK memorial, the Pegasus, the stampede with bull statues, the giant eyeball, and more! See photos below.
We did this as a last minute thing on our last day here but I wish we did this first so we can ask the tour guide where to go. They’re very informative and it’s just nice to get recommendations from locals. It makes exploring that much easier :)

Just enjoyed a great tour with Dustin. My daughter was dying to try this, but we both had a blast. We took the executive 2.5 hour tour, and it was a good amount of time, didn’t seem too long. Would highly recommend!

I had some family visiting from out of town and decided to book a Segway tour to give them a quick tour of Dallas. We weren’t quite sure what to expect but we were not disappointed. Our guide Rocky was THEEE BEST! He was knowledgable and fun! If you’re thinking about doing a tour of the area, this is the way to do it!

We had a fantastic tour on the Segway in Dallas Texas.
We enjoyed an almost 3 hour tour of downtown Dallas.
Doug our guide was very NICE, informative about Dallas and most helpful with myself who is an older Segway rider.
We started at 9:00 in the morning, got a brief training on the Segway, never had been on one before. I will tell you it is a bit scary at first, but after about a half an hour it was OK.
Then we took off in downtown Dallas, so many great sights, like the Thanksgiving Square, At&t building, the Giant Eye ball really neat, flagship Neiman Marcus store, JFK memorial, Perot museum, the cattle drive statues, very interesting.
The 2 and a half tour went by very fast, and enjoyed it all, only 4 on our tour. We were able to stop and take photos along the way.
At the end you feel like you are a pro on the Segway, would surely do another tour in a different town.

I have done multiple Segway tours and I gotta say I really enjoyed this one! I learned a bunch of new things about downtown Dallas and our tourguide Grayson was awesome and entertaining!:) Ill definitely have to go again!

I had a great time exploring Austin on the Segway
This tour takes you all around downtown Austin and the tour stops at all areas of interests worth visiting within the downtown area.
Not to mention you are on segways !!! Very fun for any age.
I visited Austin twice this year and had such a good time that I rode twice.
Must do if you are a tourist :)

As a resident of Dallas I was a bit skeptical about doing a tour of the city… that being said however this was by far the BEST touristy thing I have done since moving here! I am so glad that I was talked into it. Our tour guide (Doug) was fantastic and so knowledgeable! He showed us all these places that I never knew existed as well as pointed out some cool hot spots. We did the Ride It tour which was the perfect mix of fun, history and zipping around on the segway. Which lets face it was the best part and don’t worry before your tour starts your guide will give you a lesson on how to ride one. They so much fun and easy to operate once you get the hang of it. If you are looking for more fun than history check out the Fun Run every day at 5pm. I can’t wait to bring my folks and do the full executive tour when they come to town. If you are looking for a way to see all the hot spots of Dallas and hear about all of our incredible history this is the tour for you!

This was a surprise father’s day gift from my wife… and it was well worth it!
First off, best time to do this tour is on an early Sunday morning around 8:30 a.m. Little traffic and the city is practically empty. At this early Sunday morning time, there are plenty of metered street parking with 2 hour maximum parking. You should pay for the maximum 2 hours.
Remember to arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled Segway tour time and wear comfortable sneakers. Dress appropriately… I had shorts and sneakers, wife had pants and sneakers.
So you know, the minimum age is 14 years old and minimum weight requirement is 100 pounds. Maximum weight of 275 pounds.
When you arrive to check-​in, you’ll need to fill out some paperwork and be given an option to get $ 5 insurance or opt out. Those Segways cost between $ 5K-​10K, so it may be wise to sacrifice the $ 5 insurance since you don’t know what will/​can happen during the tour.
After all the paperwork is done, you’ll be given a helmet and a brief chat about the tour and the Segway.
My wife and I have never been on a Segway, so trust me, we were nervous about falling off those things, but if we did the tour with no incident, you definitely can.
The tour guides will spend at least 15 minutes before the tour making sure everyone is comfortable on the Segways — riding them down the Bello Park, making turns, etc, until you feel you are really good to go. They will also brief you on all the safety guidelines and what to do and what not to do while on the Segway.
When your begin the tour, you should be pretty confident on riding your Segway. It’s like riding a bike, once you nail it, you are golden… just don’t over-​think and over adjust… stay natural and calm!
The guides will split the Segway groups into manageable sizes. our group comprised of four tourists, a tour guide and a safety guy. There were other larger groups ahead of us, but I think limiting the groups to 10 or less is key.
We did the 2 hour Sunday morning tour which included a stop at the Pioneer Plaza, Dallas County Offices, Dallas Police Memorial, Federal Reserve Building, AT&T World Headquarters and performing arts center, the 30-​Foot-​Tall Eyeball Sculpture, Thanksgiving Square, First Baptist Church Area, Crow collection of Asian Art, Dallas Museum of Art, Klyde Warren Park. Dallas Art district, Dealey Plaza, and JFK Memorial,
We’ve lived in the Dallas Metroplex pretty much most of our adult lives, and never really been enthusiastic about visiting the touristic places and learn the history since we always say we can go whenever we feel like… but this Segway tour made us learn a lot more than we knew about Dallas and its history.
Overall, the tour was great. Our tour guide — Jack — was funny and knowledgeable. We also had a safety guy who would stand in the middle of the road with his Segway and made sure we all made it safely across.
I’ll definitely recommend this tour as a nice way of touring downtown Dallas. I think you can purchase the tour for $ 39. Also, remember to tip your fabulous tour guides!

This was my first time on a Segway, but they train you before you head out on the tour. Cameron was an awesome tour guide! My friends and I will definitely do this again. We had so much fun!

Had a great time on our Segway tour today with Landon. My friend and I were first time Segway riders and «Lando» gave us great instruction and we felt completely comfortable (maybe too comfortable:-)) immediately. A great way to see the sights in Dallas and learn along the way. Highly recommend!

I highly recommend this segway tour for locals and tourists! I’m from Dallas and I learned a lot of fun facts about Dallas on this tour. Our tour guide knew his stuff, except he did not know his stuff when we went to the JFK memorial. He had some wrong facts about the JFK assassination and was stating his own personal conspiracy belief. Anyways, our marketing team decided to do this tour for a team building day and we had a blast! My boss crashed the segway, but good thing he got the insurance! Our team wants to do another segway tour. I would suggest geting the groupon for a fun outing with friends or team building experience!

Landon, our tour guide was very friendly and fun. I had never done a Segway tour before and it was a fun way to see the city. I am 56 years old and riding a Segway only took a few minutes to get the hang of. I would definitely do it again. We did the executive tour and it was well worth it.

We have been on Segway tours in Chicago, Atlanta and now Dallas. The guide makes/​breaks the experience. We loved our guide over Easter weekend. He rocked. The upside is we had a party of four on our tour which made it kind of extra nice as we got all of his attention. Final stop is where JFK was impacted and it was a solemn site. I thought I was prepared but in the end super happy we were able to pay our respects.
This company has locations in San Antonio and other spots. If you take their business card to a sister location for a tour you get $ 5 off your next tour.
Oh and unlike the other two on our tour whom didn’t tip our guide: you needs to tip him. These guides are a wealth of knowledge and work hard to make your experience a memorable one. Yes, they will take pics for you. Don’t embarrass yourselves as tourists. Two hours = $ 20 from each person easily.

Sorry the update is so delayed, but the manager reached out to us and made sure we were on the tour for the weekend. We had a great time and would do it again!

Our tour guide Cameron was more than awesome! The 2.5 hour tour was incredible. Hit all the hot spots: Dealey Plaza, West End, Victory Plaza/AAC…definitely recommend it!

Got to be a quest with a friend who bought a groupon for this tour. I had so much freaking fun! Stu and Doug were awesome! Stu was our group’s guide and he was fantastic! Super caring guy that was very informative and lots of fun! Totally would do this again and again!

I bought a groupon for the Executive tour (2.5 hours) and I was very impresssed and pleased with the whole experience, I have recommended it to several friends and family. Our tour was at 9 am and we had perfect weather, the location was easy to find and the parking was only $ 5 for the day. Our group included 6 people but I beleive the max was 8. Seth and Cameron were our tour guides and they were both very informative, friendly and helpful. The guys were also knowledgeable about the city and various museums in the area. They were confident on the segways but not cocky which is very importnant. Be sure to get there about 15 minutes early to sign waivers and get the instruction on how to control the segway. They offer insurance for $ 5 per person, this protects the segway from damage. Each segway is valued at $ 6K. I opted for the coverage but after about 5 minutes on the segway I knew it wasn’t going to be necessary. Seth took the front of our pack and Cameron brought up the rear except when there was safety hazards, then he went ahead to clear the way. We saw several historic landmarks, JFK memorial, the red Brick court house, American Airlines center, AT&T performing arts center, Thanksgiving square, City Hall and the Bulls by the convention center, cruised by the Perot museum and even had an extended stop at Klyde warren park which was a nice break, we were able to walk around and explore, we even had time to play a game of foosball while we were out there. There were plenty of stops for pictures and the guys were happy to take pictures of you for you.
The company also offer tours in Austin and San Antonio. There is a little bit of physical exeriton needed to control these machines and you are standing up for over 2 hours so you will be using your legs. The segways have a small back pack attached to carry small items like your phone, jacket, sunscreen or personal items. Each segway had a cold water bottle tucked inside the pocket which was a nice surprise. This is an awesome ride and I will do it again.
