Great location. Good ambiance. Fairly good food, coming from a bad experience earlier during the day, we were skeptical. Ordered the fried calamari, braised ribs, red snapper and a classic dessert and some drinks. The entrees were really good. 7⁄10. Our waiter was gr8. Pretty busy and occupied since it was a saturday, but food wait times were pretty short. Only gripe is with the host. She was rude! otherwise a good experience.

This place is situated on Klyde Warren Park in downtown dallas. Arrived at 715 on a Saturday night and even though we had reservations for outside, we sat at the bar inside because The park itself was crazy packed with families. (Understandable however, Not MY idea of a fun adult night out). Anyway, from the hostess to the food runners, and especially our bartenders, the service was amazing. Very attentive and friendly. Apparently they had just rolled out new drinks and we were please with both gin cocktails that we ordered. i got the summer soirée with muddled watermelon and cucumber — super refreshing and light. My friend got the flip(which if you don’t know, has egg white froth on top so be warned) Also gin based its a very green, earthy drink with cucumber and celery essence. Really unique and delicious. We ordered the lamb meatballs –tasty but could have used just a bit more sauce for my liking Calamari and shrimp I could have eaten all night And we each got salads — they were ok They were definitely not something I would make my entrée in the future but we were saving calories for the cocktails anyway ;) Next time I want to try the scallops and the crispy gnocchi. There will DEFINITELY be a next time. Just not on the patio unless it’s a school night :)

Our server was good but he forgot to bring one of our party member’s drink and brought us the check before we asked for it. The food was very good. Wine, Ok. Ambience was decent.

If you can make it in on the day they make the shortrib Mac & Cheese, prepare your taste buds. We have always had great service, great food and an open feel at this restaurant. Perfect for people watching at the park while enclosed in a nice restaurant.

Went on a date here and we were both super impressed. The people watching, when sitting outside, watching people at the park is fun and entertaining. AMAZINGLY atmosphere, friendly staff, and the food(brunch) was amazing. I love their brunch menu and mimosas. Yum.

Arrived at 12:30 on a Wednesday afternoon and was made to wait for 15 minutes for a patio seat even though I counted 13 empty tables. That’s roughly half of the patio tables. When I was finally seated there were no more or less tables. I could understand if there were a bunch of tables sat just before me and the waiter was overwhelmed however looking around I saw that most had already finished their meals or were currently engaged in them. Regardless, my waiter was prompt and professional. I was surprised by the Lobster Puffs. I had read such great reviews for them and while I realize they are meant to be cheesy, I felt they were a bit to doughy. Perhaps mine were not cooked properly, not sure. Next, I ordered the hamburger not being sure about what else to order I felt this was a safe bet and I could have a baseline to compare with other restaurants. I have had better burgers delivered via room service from an airport hotel. I asked for it to be prepared medium and it came well done. It was dry and the meat(when tasted separately) was not seasoned at all. The saving grace was the aioli, it made the burger palatable but not repeatable. The far and away best thing I ate was the Deconstructed Key Lime Pie. They should allow whoever made this the head chef of this place. It was as beautiful as it was delicious. The pie would be the only reason I would visit again and then I would only try deserts

Great location that overlooks a park across from the Dallas museum of art. We had reservations for four on Mother’s Day at 10 am. The restaurant was mostly empty with empty tables throughout. However, the staff thought it would be best to seat our party next to a couple with a baby that would crowd both us and them. I asked the person seating us if they would move us to an empty table so both parties would have room and pointed out how there were so many empty tables. The person went to check and returned to say they couldn’t accommodate our request. So I had to go to the hostess and argue for a table. The hostess actually argued with me saying that they expected many guests that day. There was at most two parties waiting for seats and there were better than 18 tables open. I asked her if other parties could reserve specific tables and she admitted they couldn’t. So why did I need to argue for a table when common sense should prevail. The hostess offered to seat us outside but it was raining and made no sense when they had so many open seats. After a few minutes of conversation, the woman acquiesed and they seated our party with a great view of the park away from the couple with the baby. Food was alright. We ordered the pita bread with humus, pizza sauce and pimento cheese spreads — very good. I ordered the fried chicken salad, which was alright but I expected the honey mustard dressing to taste sweet but instead it had a vinagarette taste that was unexpected and disappointing. I should have known to sample the dressing before putting it on the salad — lesson learned.

Food — Delish. I notice other people were disappointed but I have to say there were 4 of us and we all tried something different and all was good. Guess the cooks were happy. Price — no different from others in that area. Hey let’s face it the Dallas restaurants are overpriced(part of the BIG experience) Staff — friendly and prompt Atmosphere — great with a modern flair Valet — free if you dine in, quick and convenient since parking is hard to find in that area Location — next to other attractions near downtown I would suggest to take your date here and depending on time and day enjoy Kyle Warren park. The night we went they were showing a movie in the park and it was prom weekend. Good people watching here.

I came for an early lunch on a weekday so I had a choice of tables and great service. Had the cauliflower soup which was delicious, and the scallop and shrimp salad which was good but not great. The seafood was seasoned nicely but the salad was a bit boring. Ended with the deconstructed key lime pie which was tasty and really nicely presented; I just thought it could be a tad more tangy. It’s a lovely restaurant, but I would come here for the ambiance, people watching, and proximity to the arts district more than for the food.

For as many restaurants Dallas has to offer, you would think that every restaurant would bring its A-game. Fortunately for Savour, it has great décor and the location is nice.(People watching is always a plus!) Unfortunately for Savour, none of the dishes we got were that good… I got the Chai Tea Pimm’s Cup, which was refreshing. I like chai, and I didn’t think it was overwhelming. My friend got the Savour Vacation and said it tasted like a margarita. For food, we shared 3 appetizers and 1 entrée. Lobster Puffs — There were ok. You actually saw pieces of lobster in there. Roasted Brussel Sprouts — There missed the mark for me. It had a sweet glaze/syrup over it that I didn’t care for. Tuna Tartare — This was probably the worst of the three. The sauces they had on their were overpowering the tuna, and it just didn’t work for me. I love raw fish and would’ve preferred it to be more simple to highlight the fish, but I guess it’s not a Japanese restaurant or anything. Red Snapper(apparently, their most popular entrée) — This was probably the best food item, but that doesn’t say much. I’d say the arugula salad on top is a nice touch(because I like arugula). The red snapper was cooked nicely. The grits weren’t spicy or anything despite it being jalapeño cheddar flavor. It was very meh. I won’t be coming back. I’d rather chill on one of the tables around the park and get food truck food…

ATTENTIONALLDALLASELITEMEMBERS: DON’T COMEHERE. IT’S ANUTTERANDTOTALWASTEOFTIME — SAYINGTHISAFTERMULTIPLEVISITS. For a restaurant that’s has spent money on location, you’d think they would invest some money in service and hostesses without painted on eyebrows and attitude problems. We came here two weeks ago and brought our family — we waited a normal amount of time, the hostess seated us when it was our turn with smoothies in our hand. She even asked where we had gotten them from. Once we saw our table, we requested a different table as the one she was seating us at was in the sun — common sense to ask btw — and it was dirty. When we finally got seated at the right table, she chose that time to tell us that we could not bring our drinks from outdoors into the restaurant even though she saw we had our smoothies the entire time AND even though we were sitting on the outside patio. I asked her if we could put them aside — I got a mango smoothie from one of the food carts and it was amazing and there was no chance I was giving that up — she said unfortunately it’s policy for the hostess to throw them away. Granted many restaurants have policies like that, but if the halfwit would have just said that in the beginning, we would have gladly finished them prior to being seated. So, we promptly walked on the other side of our outdoor table to finish our drink. Picture this: our family is sitting on a table on the outdoor patio. We are standing right next to our family, on the other side of a thin rail — practically touching we were so close, maybe a few inches apart? When we decided a good 15 seconds later that Savor and the hostess was not worth our business whatsoever the hostess smirked at us and said thank you without even looking up. I get having a bad day, but word to the wise: Don’t have a job in service if you’re rude and have absolutely no manners. The hostess has shoulder length reddish-dark hair, awful skin, and is evil looking. Won’t be back at this place — and fully intending on sharing my awful experience to any and everyone who asks about Savor. Awful establishment in it’s entirety.

Visited Savor for dinner on 3.28 with four other co-workers. Atmosphere and décor was awesome. The weather was perfect so we took advantage and sat on the patio. The cocktail selection was good, I got the bird of paradise and the winter solstice. The winter solstice was my favorite. I ordered the Pan Roasted Salmon, served with lentils, red beets crime fraiche and dill. The was a lot of the beet sauce and not really any dill at all. Salmon was a little lackluster, no seasoning and tasted quite fishy since it was served with the brown part of the fish in the bottom of the filet. 3 other’s meals were also pretty lackluster for what they cost. But Crispy Potato gnocchi was AMAZING. Service was not at the level it should have been for the price of the food and the restaurant atmosphere. Delayed in asking us how our food was, had to ask for second round of drinks and had to ask for checks. When I inquired about the salmon being fishy because the brown portion on the bottom, she was pretty snooty in her response back. Would not suggest Savor to any friends and would not revisit.

Lauren was our sever and we absolutely LOVED her. If you’re able to request a section, ask for hers. Brussel sprouts: A+ Short Rib with Mac & Cheese: A+ Gnocchi: A+(usually gnocchi is a bit on the heavy side, this was not. It was lighter and so delicious!) Specialty cocktail– To The Moon: B(could have used a heavier pour) 5 out of 5. We loved our food and the service was top notch.

My late night craving of Mac and cheese drove me here to Savor the other night(thanks Unilocal for your awesome search bar). The first thing that I loved about the place was the vibe and location. Customer service was impeccable, and the bar was very modern and trendy. I loved the location of this place because it’s right in the heart of Klyde Warren Park. I ordered the salmon(28) and a side of Mac and cheese(6) to go for my meal. Now I knew from the get go this place was going to be expensive and I was fine with that, but I was a little disappointed to be honest. The salmon was a very very dry and it just looked like they threw it in the box. As for my Mac and cheese it was a very runny, but it hit the spot for me. I want to give this place a 2 ½ –3 stars? I will say you are definitely paying for the location and vibe, but that’s not a bad thing!

I have been searching for a place to eat before concerts at House of Blues and I think I found it! Savor is in a fantastic location, right in Klyde Warren Park. There is outdoor dining. The vibe is very cool. The décor is great. The restaurant is floor to ceiling windows. Super cool. They dub themselves a gastropub, but I think they are more upscale than the typical gastropub. We started with the lobster puffs and crispy shrimp and calamari. I went with the lobster puffs from reading another Unilocal review. Meh, at best. It’s fried cheese with a tiny itty bitty piece of lobster with zero lobster flavor. However the shrimp and calamari were fantastic! They are Asian fusion style and super yummy! I had the crispy potato gnocchi. While I was wondering what was crispy about it, I loved the dish. It was not too creamy and the wild mushrooms were great. My husband had the braised short rib, which sat on top of a Mac and Cheese dish. The meat was very tender and perfectly done.

We got to sit outside on this awesome beautiful day and enjoy some grub. I don’t know if it was the company or just the great freaking weather.. .but the food was great! We got the chicken fried steak and it was so tender and delicous! The gravy while not the traditional plain white gravy.. .the maple and the bacon somehow worked to just enhance the flavor of the dish. Now my favorite part.. .they cut up finger potatoes and smashed them a little and deep fried them.. .OMG.. .these were better then any home fries I have ever had! So crispy on the outside and so creamy in the middle.. just perfect!(5⁄5) And we had to get the chicken chilaquiles since that was one of the dishes that we passed as we were walked to out table outside. The chicken was tender and the over eay eggs on top totally made the dish! The green sauce that was served with it had just the right amount of acidity to balance out the dish perfectly!(5⁄5) We also had the stuffed French Toast with Lemon Ricotta. This was very creamy in the center. It actually tasted more like a pain perdu then a stuffed french toast. It was delicious and we treated it more like a dessert verses a part of the lunch. =)(4.5÷5) Ambiance — 5⁄5 — Come on we were sitting outside enjoying the weather and people watching while eating.. .totally awesome! AND they are dog friendly! They even had little water bowls for your furry 4 legged baby.. .so bring them with you and sit outside. =) Service(3⁄5) — The guy that served us was decent.. .he was attentive at times but we did had to flag him down a couple of times. BUT that is not why the 3 stars. When we called to make a reservation, it took over 5 minutes to get that thought across. The hostesses were very subpar. They just couldn’t understand that we wanted to get a table outside and that we were on our way.. .very annoying.. .but the rest of the experince was painless and made up for their lack of «smarts».

Found my new brunch-ing location! Everything about Savor was great… the service, food, atmosphere, location, everything! 5⁄5 for service. Our waiter was attentive and went above and beyond for our service. The entire staff included. We waited about 15 minutes for our reserved table but we hung out at the bar while we waited. Ordered a few mimosas(not too bad/$ 8 each). 5⁄5 for the food. There’s not a lot to choose from the brunch menu, but a lot of brunch places are like this. We ordered the crispy shrimp and calamari for an appetizer to share. Pretty large portion and it comes with a sweet glaze that complements the calamari and shrimp well. I ordered the lemon sole milanese. WOW it was so good. The plate came with cherry tomato, arugula salad, and mashed potatoes. I was VERY impressed with the food. I will probably order the lemon sole next time as well. My family ordered the chicken fried steak and chilaquiles and they were all pleased with their entrée. Although the food is pricey, the portions are large and the service you receive is phenomenal. 5⁄5 for atmosphere and location. Savor is absolutely beautiful. You get a great view while you’re eating since the entire building is glass. They also have a patio outside with fire pits and cozy seating. The only thing missing is a rooftop.

Beautiful interior and lighting. I love this restaurant for its ambiance, location and the lovely view of the park! Very classy and romantic. A perfect place for a date. But I couldn’t give it more than 3 stars because of the lack of finesse in their food. The portions are pretty small and it’s a little on the pricier side for what you get. The food isn’t bad, but it’s not good either. I’ll give it to them for the charming and pleasant presentation but I am not impressed with the taste. Food 2⁄5 Service 3⁄5 Atmosphere 5⁄5 I’ll definitely come back for the nice atmosphere, drinks and the pretty desserts, but not for a full meal. I’ll pass.

Pretty impressed with Savor. Tonight was my first experience there — we had a bday dinner for my teammate. There were some inconsistent messages about bringing cake in from the outside but Faith, one of the managers, cleared things up for us. She saved the day again — when they were out of a particular veggie, and she made it appear!!! Faith made our visit wonderful; a visit that could have gone very wrong with the number and variety of hiccups we had. Service was great! We had Larry as our server, and Mitch was assisting our table as well. Between the two of them, and Faith, we were very well taken care of. Food was good too. We ordered a cheese plate to share which had some goat, sheep, and cow cheeses. There was also prosciutto, honey(with comb), dried cranberries, and candied walnuts on the plate. They served toasted & buttered crostinis with it as well as regular crostini. I ordered the mini grilled goat cheese sandwiches appetizer as my meal. You get 4 mini sandwiches. Little crostini sandwiches with plain goat cheese(not as tangy as I’m used to) spread on pretty generously, with a dollop of Cherry Tomato jam on top. They were tasty! But the last two sandwiches, I had to cut back on some of the cheese. That jam was amazing! From my friends I tried: *short ribs — melt-in-your-mouth tender and yummy *mac & cheese — not a fan of the cream cheese in the mix; it overpowered the other cheese flavors *crème bruleé — vanilla was the flavor; deep dish; crust and berriea were good; too much custard for my taste Alcohol: *La Poire — gives you«winter» in a cocktail; almost like a mulled cider or mulled wine; very interesting & smelled great; taste was okay *Birthday Cake shots — creamy, foamy, sweet; bartender did pretty good with these! This gastropub is beautiful! The walls are glass providing an amazing view of the park at night, esp with the fountain and trees lit. The patio is sexy, with fire pits and electric heatera all over, and cozy seating. Also, valet parking is validated with a puchase at Savor. The valet guys were nice. I’ll definitely be back to experience more.

Muy caro y malo. Pedi una ensalada Nicoise y mi esposo y mi hijo pidieron una hamburguesa. La ensalada tenia un atun insipido con sabor a recien descongelado. Las hojas de la ensalada estaban mustias. Y ademas no tenia aderezo suficiente. Mi esposo e hijo mencionaron la carne de la hamburguesa estaba seca aunque la pidieron termino medio. Ademas el mesero no le pregunto a mi hijo que queria tomar y lo ignoro todo el tiempo. Really a disappointment. The Nicoise Salad was tasteless. The greens were old. The hamburger were dry.
