Wow! How terribly disappointed we were this Christmas 2014! We bought a seemingly gorgeous 9 foot tall Douglas Fir the weekend after Thanksgiving. I painstakingly put 5,300 lights on it only for it to die within two weeks. It literally completely dried up and shriveled dropping ornament and breaking them on the tile floor, consuming others as it collapsed on top of itself, strands of light falling off. Terribly disappointing for my children and my sister’s children. We checked the water every couple of days and used the tree preservative they gave us. It was obviously not soaking up any water because it was full each time we checked. What a complete waste of $ 400 cash. Today, December 27th we had to drag it out of the house as if it was January 6th. It lost so much of its limbs and needles it took the kids an I an hour to clean up the mess. What a way to ruin Christmas! Thanks a bunch SANDONE’S!

We get our Christmas trees at Sandone’s every year. He has a wonderful selection of freshly cut trees that last all the way through until long after Christmas. Very helpful staff. They will cut your tree to size and help you fit it to the height of your ceiling.

I really wanted to get a tree from here. They’ve got a great selection… staff is super helpful. They’re right behind Keller’s. Ok that one really doesn’t have anything to do with anything, but is still fun. Still they were a bit pricey compared to what we were able to find at Central Market. Sandone does a wonderful job of flocking, if you’re into that sort of thing.

Incredible selection of Christmas trees with delivery available. Resolved to visit Sandone after a quick Google search for Christmas trees in the Dallas area and the next day’s Groupon further sealed the deal. Rows of trees are set up in a parking lot off of NW Hwy under a covered tent, which was incredibly convenient as it rained heavily during our visit. Prices run about $ 120-$ 150 for an 8′ tree but the price was somewhat negotiable. Sandone also delivers trees, an offering I used for the first time this year. I recommend calling ahead to get a quote on delivery as the quote on the phone was $ 10 less than the quote on the lot($ 30 vs. $ 40). They only accept CASH or CHECK but there is an ATM in the cashier’s on the lot.
