Like all the Sally Beauty Supply locations I’ve visited in Dallas proper, this one has everything you could ever need and more for your hair and nails. You can buy stuff to dye them, paint them, cut them, curl them, bleach them, wash them, condition them, etc. etc. etc. The staff at this location were just as friendly and helpful as the store near Lemmon, and as always were filled with tips about how to really get what you want out of whatever products you might be in the market for. This particular store is in a little strip mall with a Tuesday Morning and lots of parking. Pro tip: Get the Sally club membership — the discounts make it worth the cost even if you only come in 2−5x/year.

I had a similar experience as the other reviewers. Occasionally I run into a nice salesperson, but most are sort of beautician rejects. I feel sorry for them; Sally’s probably pays minumum wage. Whatever you do, don’t try out their brushes! The smirky self-satisfied male sales person will yank it away and behave like you have sinned beyond sins. They do have some things you can’t find in CVS, but I generally do not like the store or the salespeople. I go there as little as possible.

As a guy, don’t have any use for this place but went there to buy 2 Christmas gifts — unfortunately had to return both — dumb man! My wife actually went on to do it while I waited in car — typical man — but promptly came back to car saying they needed the«red card». So here I go inside, as I did not use a red card to purchase these. On the way, my wife gave me update on what already occurred: — she walks in and goes to register and presents 2 return items(blow dryer and some sort of derm abrasion machine, where associate with major chip on her shoulder begins questioning her — why the return? Is there something wrong with the items? Have you used either? Then tells to Julie to come to the front to process return. Assuming Julie is a/the manager. — Julie comes up and questions in same manner as original associate, and says we must have red card to make return. She also said it looked like one of the items had been opened, which it had not. So now I come in and tell Julie I did not use a red card, don’t have a red card. She gave me a nasty look and began to process return. Julie was rude the entire time, through body language, curt responses, tone of voice. Bottom line: if you make me feel like crap when making a return, I won’t ever shop there to begin with.

So I’m not a huge fan of Sally’s in general, just because they don’t carry a lot of things normally need. But when I need some new nail polish I vroom vroom it up to the nearest Sally’s. So I had a bit of a bathroom disaster the other day, and destroyed about half of my bottles of nail polish on the tile floor. Well, I suppose it was about time to re-up anyway. I’m a nail polish snob, I have to get OPI or China Glaze. I know, I know, it’s stupid. Yet, I don’t seem to care. Off to Sally’s So the reason I always go to Sally’s is cause they usually have some buy 2 get 1 deal. They didn’t. Oh well. Got some anyway. The pluses were that the place didn’t smell like fried hair(yes, that happens) and they had some cool backless boob-holder things at the register that I almost bought. The minuses were that the place is tiny and I hate that you have to pay to join their ‘beauty club’. And they still have nothing I want except nail polish. And apparently booby holders.
