Had appetizers and dinner with co workers. The bartender was either very busy or not as attentive as we would have liked. It was pretty busy. We had the cheese platter which was almost too much food to consider dinner. We did settle on dinner and enjoyed it. Very loud inside. Patio was too hot to enjoy. I hear it’s great on cooler weather.

I was impressed with the patio seating and the atmosphere. The parking was a bit of a hassle but found valet parking next door. We ordered some appetizers and drinks. I ordered the Basil Lemonade, which was really good, smoked salmon, and mussels. The food and drinks were a bit pricy but the drinks were strong and the food was good, so it was all worth it. The waiter was very friendly and checked on us often. It was a good experience overall.

Really nice brunch spot. My daughter had the strawberry shortcake French toast which was different and yummy and I had the crab Benedict which was very good and fresh. The mimosas aren’t weak and the waiter was Awesome! The reason why it gets 4 stars and not 5 is that although we had reservations it took us almost 30 minutes to be seated. I want to definitely go back though to enjoy Saint Ann again.

A girlfriend and I stopped here after we left Happiest Hour. The weather was perfect; the patio was jaw dropping, and the inside/outside lighting was so whimsical. The cocktail I had was amazing and so was the people watching and very nice views. They have a lawn area where kids and dogs can play. There is also an area where you can play chess! I think this is a great date night spot. It’s right in the heart of many things and it so romantic. I definitely want to go back and try their food.

I had been meaning to check out this spot for a long time. Not sure what took me so long. I met some of my friends here for brunch and I must say I was impressed . The patio is huge ! The patio can hold a lot of people, which makes for good people watching or just being really social. I am vegetarian, so going in, I already know that I would most likely have to tweak my meal to fit my vegetarian lifestyle. I ordered the strawberry french toast, which was nothing short of amazing. I got some roasted potatoes on the side. Not a bad combo . The drinks are good too and pretty creative. This place was voted best patio in Dallas one year by D Magazine and I can definitely see why. Beautiful patio, beautiful touches of green, beautiful people, and great food. A winning combination ! This SHOULD be your brunch spot!

The venue is very interesting, especially considering that there was a museum full of samurais up on the 2nd level. The food, however, was a disappointment. It was on the same level as a mediocre hotel restaurant – uninspired, bland, boring. Nothing was particularly fresh or interesting.

I’m a huge food critique and I’m shocked by how low the reviews are. I came here for BRUNCH so I’m only going to review the brunch menu… We started out with a round of mimosas for four people… They were amazing, as usual! We then got the quesadilla, omelet, and flatbread. I tried the quesadilla first and was amazed but then I moved to the flatbread and ate the entire thing! It was absolutely amazing. The environment rocks as well! Super happy we tried this place because I probably wouldn’t have if I saw the reviews on Unilocal

Our bar waiter was Stephanie. She was okay, but everyone else at the bar was nice. The food was absolutely delicious! I will definitely be back. I was skeptical at first, because of the mixed reviews. Saint Ann did not fall short at all. My cousin and both had the Strawberry French Toast with a side of bacon. I ate every last drop of food that was on my plate. I would definitely come back here! Nice spot for a date or even brunch with the girls.

Great place! Love the atmosphere. The food is very good. They did mess up my order by giving me classic Benedict instead of the Southwest Benedict but oh well… It was still very good. Portions are perfect. I also shared the strawberry French toast with my fiancé. It was good but a little bit too sweet and a little bit pricey($ 13 just for French toast — no other sides). Otherwise, love this place. I recommend it!

Pretty patio with lots of heaters to cozy up and have a cocktail. I got the drink with tequila, lime and ginger beer. It was just ok. Pretty straight forward. Not complex enough for my taste but it was certainly strong, soooo… no complaints. My cuz ordered the short rib flatbread and I had to try the truffle Mac and Cheese. I usually don’t like white Mac and cheese but I was pleasantly surprised! It was creamy, super cheesy and stringy. You could really taste the truffle oil. With a little salt and pepper it was ready to go. All in all… nice place with nice ambiance and service.

Pretty good. Came for a birthday dinner with a very large party. This is definitely a nice place for that type of event, as it’s not too loud and has a very nice ambience. Would also be good for date night. The service was solid. They even put a big sparkler in my friend’s birthday cake(that we were allowed to bring in ourselves) when they brought it out at the end of dinner. I had a prosciutto flatbread and it was really tasty. But worth $ 14 for a small yet fancy pizza? Probably not. The table also shared some hummus, which had a nice kick. Never had spicy hummus before, but I was a fan. Drinks were expensive, but not more so than any other kinda-sorta-fancy place in Dallas. I had a couple of French 75s for $ 12 each, and while they did the trick, they were far from the best I’ve had. Bonus is that there’s a little parking lot across the street that didn’t seem to have restrictions on a Sunday night if you’re trying to avoid valet. I’d come back for someone else’s special occasion, but there are plenty of other nice options in Dallas with better bang for your buck.

I love Saint Ann. Great square footage of outside patio that is chic and modern. Food and drink menu has something to offer for everyone. Perfect for date night or large group get together for any occasion. Whenever I find myself in downtown Dallas I try to stop here.

Food was decent but lacking any wow factor. I had the Atlantic salmon. It was good but a little pricey for lunch & for the portion size($ 23). Wife had the chicken sandwich and was a bit underwhelmed. We both coveted the Southwestern shrimp salad that our friend got — it looked amazing. Service was iffy. We had to flag down our server for tea & water refill. Ambiance was good.

This place is a must visit on your next trip to downtown Dallas! Sit outside and enjoy their cooling fans and beautiful lit up trees. They also had a giant chess board, fire pits, and grass seating area. We ended up just getting 2 apps the dip trio and heirloom tomato salad. Both great choices the mozzarella was very creamy seemed like it was made in house. We enjoyed two summer cocktails. The basil lemonade– a little sweet but the basil flavor really set the drink off! And the teachers pet– if you like ginger this is the drink for you. Great place to sit and watch a sunset. Bonus: The Samuri collection museum upstairs. Free. Great collection lots to look at. Open until 5.

We came here for my sisters birthday. It was also close to the Winspear Opera House. We were going to see Motown on Broadway. The food was good but it lacked a good selection and the food was very costly. We ordered a burger, 1 crabcake, 3 cocktail drinks, & some jalapeño bacon wraps. Our bill was $ 86 before a tip. I know this is more of an upscale eatery but for the price it could have been much better also woth more of an selection. I found myself not really knowing what to order because there was really nothing that moved me on the menu. But i was so hungry we just ordered 2 appetizers and a burger. So I will most likely not be back unless friends or family request too. Just not enough variety for what you pay for.

We went here with high expectations with reservation only seating and valet, it’s normal to expect really great service and amazing food. Sadly we got neither. First we requested a table by the window in the reservation, when we arrived a ton of tables were open yet we were led to little tiny table. After we sat down for a while, the hostess came over and loudly said, I just saw you requested would like to move… Um… no, wait yes we’ll get up, NOT. Second, the service was AWFUL! Not sure where the wait staff goes but they disappear! She didn’t ask us what we wanted, we had to say, hey we’re ready to order. She didn’t check on us. Then someone came and grabbed our plates before we get Togo boxes. Third and I would say most important, is the food. We felt like we got cracker barrel food and paid $ 50 for it. I’m ticked. The Crab Benedict was $ 20 came out hard boiled, no cause and a stale old crab cake. If you don’t know how to make it, don’t server it. My tacos were dry and awful! Then they wanted to serve fruit or eggs with it. We both felt sick after leaving. It wasn’t even on the nice level and certainly not on a reservation/valet restaurant. We will not be back and feel sorry for anyone that waste their money and time on this place. OH! Forgot loud screaming kids next to us making a mess, meanwhile tables status empty the entire hour we were there. Bottom line they have no clue about service and they need to get training and fire the chef and get a real one. I can cook better than this.

I was very impressed and pleasantly surprised by Saint Ann. Given the mixed Unilocal reviews and overall 3 star rating, I went to brunch with low expectations. Despite a rocky start, the food and ambiance were both superb, and Saint Ann has traveled to the top of my list of favorite brunch spots. We had a 1:30 reservation on a Saturday, and when we arrived we were given the option of sitting inside or outside. I know their patio is legendary, but it was an overcast day and the DJ was blasting the music a bit loudly, so we opted for a table inside. The décor was very nice – chandeliers on the ceilings, white tablecloths on many of the tables, wooden floors and interesting art on the walls. It took a while for any of the wait staff to greet us or bring us water, and I was worried we would get a taste of the sub-par service I had read about here, but when our waitress did finally arrive she was friendly and attentive and my fears were laid to rest. My boyfriend and I started by sharing the carafe of mimosas, which is $ 12. That’s a great deal, because those mimosas are STRONG. And deliciously refreshing. It was a great start to the meal. When they came back for our order, we opted to split the Salmon Benedict and the Greek Salad. Our food arrived very quickly, and we busied ourselves putting one of my Benedicts on his place and half of his salad on mine. What followed was tastebud nirvana. First, the Salmon Benedict: in a word, scrumptious. The waitress had confided in me when I ordered that that was her favorite item on the menu, and rightfully so. It was a savory delight. The eggs were perfectly poached, the smoked salmon was delicate and subtle, the hollandaise was a crowning jewel. The potatoes that came with the Benedict were thinly sliced, perfectly roasted and expertly seasoned. The Greek Salad was equally delicious, a light and crisp feast for the senses. We left brunch full and happy and glowing from our mimosas. When we were finished, we wandered upstairs to The Samurai Collection museum and spent some time perusing the exhibit – so cool that they have a free museum upstairs! Can’t wait to try Saint Ann again, so glad we live within walking distance!

The best thing about this place is the beautiful atmosphere. On a nice day, it’s so fun to sit on their trendy patio and drink a carafe of mimosas. That’s my second favorite part of this place, cheap mimosas at brunch. That’s about where my list of favorites end. The menu is a bit underwhelming in terms of choices, and while the food is good, it’s not particularly memorable. I’ve never had anything here that truly wowed me, or I found myself wishing to go back for more. I like to come here with groups for brunch, so I’m sure I’ll be back, but it will be for the nice atmosphere and the mimosas, not for the food.
