Don’t risk it. You can do better. Dallas Flooring Warehouse has the same pricing and selection as any other store you can go to. What you are really buying is the installation. Mine did not go well. My experience mirrors other negative reviews. I thought since they had been in business 20 years this would come off with military precision. It took three days. 3 days! Mainly because its just one guy installing. And the one guy seem aggravated to be there and spoke and understood English when he wanted. He shows up at 10:30 and stops about 4:30 or 5:00. He over-cut all my doorways so they are floating above the floor. They are uneven and range from 1⁄8 to nearly ½ inch on one. I had to bring this to his attention and he just said it was to make the installation easier. He had to come back on Day 4 to «fix» this and I made he do a caulk test. It looked horrible and when it dried it shrank. So I declined having him do any more since these were too high to be caulked. He damaged the door jams on all but one doorway. There is a run of boards that is wobbly and bouncy. They have to tear out flooring until they figure out where the problem is. Either sloppy laying of the pad or bad leveling IMO. Everything we own was in the garage. So they set up their saw station INSIDE the garage right next to all our stuff. So everything we own was covered in sawdust. They were using one of our sofas as a workstation. Power saws, hammers, power grinders etc. all over the sofa. This happened day 1 and I covered it just in case they did it again. They did. They had a saw station set up next to the sofa. One side is beige instead of blue from all the sawdust. One room had black handprints all over every wall. Some could be scrubbed but a few needed touch up paint. Some of the boards are barely covered by the quarter round. Large gaps. Uneven cuts. He uses the quarter round to hide a lot. Some of the pad I saw was cut very sloppily The Customer Service guy told me he would give me a $ 300 discount for the over-cutting. When I was finalizing the bill it was now $ 200. I want my floor fixed but I don’t want anyone from this company doing any work at all in my home.

Matt Stacy was great! I was preparing my house for sale and needed to re-carpet in a hurry. After receiving several, much higher quotes, I was referred to Matt. Matt made the process of getting a quote extremely fast and easy. He provided several carpet style/color suggestions at a fantastic price. As far as installation, he was ready to install within 2 days. The day before installation, the warehouse ran low on stock in the color i wanted, Matt offered to upgrade to a better grade carpet so I could still have the same color and keep my install date… and he did it at no additional cost! The installers arrived exactly when promised and did a fantastic job. Everything looks great! I will definitely work with Matt again for my future carpet needs. A+ in price, quality and service!

Original install was for October. It’s now March 4th and I still have them coming out for repairs. We are in a lease option to buy so everything goes through our property manager even though we pay the bill at the end of the lease. The quality guy lied to my property manager and told him that they did repairs that had nothing to do with their install, they installed EVERYTHING on the first floor except the kitchen, entry and 2 bathrooms none of which they even went in to the day of repairs. Problems we’ve had beyond being stood up NUMEROUS times, showed up late EVERYTIME(if they show up at all) Transitions continuously lifting put in primed quarter round that did not match the baseboards and when they got done installing they calked the gaps which oxidized and looked like they were recycled from an old home. Then was told by the quality guy and the installer that was not their problem, it was my responsibility to paint them(first off I didn’t get a $ 5000 flooring job to have to paint my quarter round. Second AREYOUKIDDINGME? PAINTQUARTERROUNDAFTERITWASINSTALLED… I’m a housewife, not a floor installer or painter, it’s why I hired someone to do this job… do i need to elaborate on that or do we all get it?) The installer Mario is VERY nice, he seems sharp and is doing the best with what he’s been taught. I think this is a case of poor training and poor management, it seems as though the times i was stood up was an office scheduling thing according to the man I spoke to, however, Mario was the ONLY one to apologize for it. This company is a mess and the employees are RUDE! I can’t believe that Rachel(the owner) has not called to apologize for everything they have put me through, instead they wait for me to call and then act like I am the problem… I WOULDN’T KEEPCALLINGIFYOU’D DOTHEJOBRIGHT!

S&H was highly recommended to my wife & I from another couple that had just used them last month for their new home. This being our first home as well, Matt & Stacy made the whole process extremely easy & comfortable. Despite a very large warehouse & clientele, we felt like we were being taken care of on a truly personal level. Matt spent a great deal of time helping us to find exactly what we were looking for & I cannot be more pleased with the finished product. We haven’t even moved in yet & I already am in love with my new floors. Stacy handled all the details & finances with great ease & professionalism. She had her teams in & out of the house in under 5 days(2,100 square feet of all brand new flooring & baseboards). I could not recommend them any higher. Thank you to the entire team for exuding the culture of a true family owned business.
