Totally loved the place. Needed tassles for tying back curtains. Not exactly an every day request. Luckily I have friends who know this stuff. So off we went to Rutherfords. They let us check out a few — interesting what you can do with mismatched tassles, but I digress.
While there I saw some reading glasses with built in LEDs so that the light shines onto whatever you are looking at. Added a whole new meaning to high beams…
Anyhow, we found the tassles we wanted, returned the samples and have ordered them.
Very nice people in the store and an array of beautiful things.

Rutherfords is a paradise of trims for drapery, upholstery or other DIY projects, but it is not inexpensive. Prepare yourself for the prices but also consider the beautiful quality of what you are seeing. It’s almost unbelievable in it’s range of trims, beading, feathers, cords, Lordy, it’s amazing. It’s my favorite place to buy trim for pillows and to pimp out my lampshades. The staff can be a little snooty but don’t let that stop you from getting your shop on, it’s worth it.
