Coworker’s recommendation to try the burgers was not bad at all. I tried the #1 with cheese with curly fries. It’s a bigger burger than whataburger and the fries were a shit load. It’s cooked to order and although it was about 8 bucks including the drink it was a good deal.

Amazing burgers. We had Jimmy’s Wild Burger with toys and onion rings. Everything was great. They only had bottled water which is why 4 and not 5 stars. We will definitely be back. They were doing a brisk to go business but the fine in area is good too super friendly staff.

They gave me a turkey sandwich that was actually pink cold cuts with ham looking marbling. Then tried to fix it with a frozen turkey burger patty. Should have just got the BLT because that’s all I ate from both mistakes.

Nice size burgers, good selection of food. I am surprised it was very clean inside with lots of booths.

So glad I finally stopped in. Had the Texas burger, so good. Nothing better than when you take a bite and you get all the flavor of the ingredients, and then you lose part of it, and can use your fries to pick up what dropped out. So good. Stay hungry my friends…

Rick’s is definitely a hole in the wall, but is well worth the stop! I had the chicken fried chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries, and it was the best fried chicken I have ever had. I have been dreaming of that sandwich ever since I had it! Must try!

Definitely a dive, but very unique. I got a buffalo burger and it was quite tasty. The seats scream 1950s/60s with bench seating made out of green vinyl. No music playing, but the 8 ceiling fans make up for it.

I love me some Rick’s burgers. A little greasy, yes. A little divey, yes. A lot of tasty, yes. The special is always a good option. Slow down and enjoy some classic great food.

Got the Texas Burger with Fritos and refried beans. Also onion rings. Pretty good and great price. Onion rings and curly fries were the highlights. Fries actually taste like potatoes. Will return. Thin hamburger patty version.

Wanted to explore the nearby lunch joint by my workplace again before I find another job somewhere else. I’ve always pass by this place but never thought of trying it out since I always try to eat healthy during lunch. Exactly as its name, it serve up some old fashioned burgers. It remind me of my childhood and eating a good ol’ classic burger at Gene’s Tasty burger in Wichita Falls. The burger had the usual lettuce, pickles, tomatoes and mayo. The girl taking my order kind of look Lady Gaga/Amy Winehouse, she was nice taking my order though. The restaurant had old vintage pictures such as Elvis all around the top of the wall. I think the place is own by a Korean family but they still keep the burger tasting good and simple. Overall it’s pretty good, if I have known bout this place sooner, I would stop by it from time to time during my lunch but I won’t be working around here that much longer.

I work about 300 feet from Ricks’ and stopped in one day after our offices moved close by and was impressed with the food, to me a burger is a burger is a burger but theirs are super delicious. Not a big fan of fries so I don’t typically get them but when I do… yum. I love the décor, the campy feel of it all but the parking lot. boy does it need work — go slow! Trying the Frito Pie next :)

I found Rick’s to be average. The fries were very bland and soggy and my Burger was just OK. Nothing was bad, but nothing I got really grabbed me either.

Pretty nice burger place. Like the first reviewer mentioned, it really seems like a working man’s burger place during lunchtime. The lines can get pretty long here during lunch which usually means it’s a good place. Their burgers are a pretty good sized 1⁄3 lb for the regular size which is plenty enough to feed me. They ask how you want it cooked but at least when I went last time they cooked it slightly longer. Their string fries aren’t all that great and can be skipped.

This is beyond a hole in the wall or a dive, but the food is outstanding. The burger I had was cooked exactly how I asked for it! The curly string fries were made right there and the potato still had the skin on it. The onion rings were also amazing! I would never have gone here, it just didn’t look like the type of place I would go to. It just goes to show that anyplace can have amazing food. Give this place a try, you’ll like it!

Burger team assemble! Rick’s is the working man’s lunch joint. Just head on over and act like you have a real job(not sitting in front a computer all day). I kid, I kid! Seriously, this place has good burgers, good fries, good shakes, old movie posters, and booths with torn vinyl seats. What more could you ask for? Ok, maybe a better location. Go ahead and use a lunch adventure day. You won’t regret it. It’s sort of in a warehouse district, so it is only open for lunch(I think till like 2:00 or 3:00). I wouldn’t go at peak lunch hours though. It can be hard to find a seat sometimes.
