I went to Dr. Kaplan today for acupuncture. It was my first acupuncture, and I was a little nervous. I pulled a muscle in my back, and it was lingering. I was told by a friend that she had acupuncture for a similar problem which worked wonders for her. Well, me too! It’s a very interesting experience. You feel a little«buzzed» for a while afterward, which Dr. Kaplan explained are the endorphins in the body. Well, my back instantly felt better. For the first time in a week, I wasn’t in pain sitting in the car! Dr. Kaplan himself is a very friendly and knowledgeable person. I would definitely go back to him for acupuncture or any alternative therapies for that matter. He seems to know a lot about different Eastern type therapies. Glad my friend found him at the Dallas Yoga Center(which is where his office is).

In December of 2011 I started to experience nerve pain from my neck to my lower back and through my entire left arm. I went to multiple massage therapists, chiropractors and even a couple of different acupuncturist. I can say with 100% confidence that none were as effective as the treatment I received from Rich. He is super friendly and easy to get a long with. He is also very passionate about his work. I have seen substantial improvement in regaining strength and reducing my pain and I am very close to be back to where I was pre-injury. Unlike other acupuncturist that take a one sided approach towards solving an issue, Rich has a background in various eastern and western medical remedies thus providing a comprehensive approach. I recommend him to anyone that has any sort of issue whether it be chronic pain, breathing, dieting, sleeping, allergies, etc… long story short, it works and he can solve most problems.
