Great shop! The décor is awesome and very cool with a great layout. Tiffer has been my artist for years and his work is always flawless. The staff was friendly, offered snacks, water, etc. One of the coolest shops I have seen!

Definitely one of the best tattoo shops in the Dallas/​Fort Worth Area! All of the artists are extremely talented and make clean, saturated, beautifully designed tattoos. I highly recommend going into the shop (which is super cool and unique) to look at portfolios if you’re thinking about getting tattooed. Everything is custom drawn and they really put the time and effort into making your tattoo perfect for you. I have been tattooed by Billy Weigler and Tiffer Wright; they are both super awesome, helpful, professional and my tattoos healed perfectly. If you’re looking for a clean shop, great atmosphere, awesome artists & really beautiful art that will be on your body forever, I definitely suggest checking out Perception.

HORRIBLE, out of the 8 shops I’ve gotten work done at this is the absolute worse customer service I have experienced. They are also a scam… $ 150 to touch up 10 minutes worth of work that the artist didn’t do right the first time??? I do not think so.
Here is my story below.
I got a tattoo from Josh (instagram name Jershtattoo_​, I dont know his last name) back at the beginning of March for my birthday. The tattoo is great, but not the best. He kind of did what I asked him too and what he came up with was good enough for me to get on my body forever. It took him 8 hours to draw what he came up with. I sat in the shop the entire time he sketched and he came up to me every hour or so saying he need one more hour. I live 30 minutes from the shop so I was not going to drive home just to turn back. Had I known it was going to take him 8 hours to draw a design I already drew up I wouldn’t have stayed at the shop all day. All together I was there for 13 hours of my day. Thank god I brought stuff to do. After my second session a few weeks later and after it healed completely I told him it needed to be touched up and I asked him if we could add more color because its not as colorful as I imagined and even ask it to be. I was in contact with him on March 23^rd and he told me there would be no charge for the touch up. He even asked me to send him a picture of the spot I noticed needed to be touched up. He asked me when I wanted to come in and when I responded he never texted me back after. Some time in April I gave the shop a call to set up an appointment, but he was not there that day to schedule anything. The lady took my name and number to give me a call back, but I never got a call. I texted Josh May 9^th and he said we could try for the next week but again he never responded to set an actual date. I texted him the next week on the 16^th and never even got one response back. I waited over a week for a response and never got anything so I called the shop again. Of course he wasn’t there because I happened to call on his off day. She took my name and number again, but I never heard back. I texted Josh again and this time I was not as nice as I have been. I explained to him that this was unprofessional, I paid a lot of money for my tattoo (side note: I do not think I have should paid what it did), and there is noticeable coloring that needs to be touched up. He has yet to respond to that text sent on June 29^th. I called the shop back one more time and the same thing happened, name and number taken but no return call. I do have to say I loved the tattoo when I got it (granted it was a dumbed down version of what I gave him), but this experience has made me grow to not like it as much and this is going to be on me forever.
This last time that I called I was a little harsh (okay maybe really harsh), its been 4 months of me trying so why be nice at this point? I gave this lady plenty of chanced. The manager (The lady who never called me back) informed me that I would have to pay $ 150 for a touch up that is going to take no more than 10 minutes, she also informed me that there was nothing she could do about this situation, and asked me not to cuss when I said this is Fing ridiculous (I have heard her and every other person in that shop cuss at least once in my 17 total hours there). At this point I am not looking for anything I just want to get the word out there that if you do go to this shop DO NOT BOOK jershtattoos_
